Hi,In my Bedroom I have two IKEA SYMFONISK Table lamps as stereo pair. One is wired to my network. The other connected via Wireless Sonos Net.I have an alarm setup, to play a Sonos playlist, which mainly has songs from my nas (itunes folder) and a few songs from Apple Music. The alarm is set to play on the bedroom speakers every weekday from 07:00 to 09:00, but also on grouped speakers (as Sonos does not allow me to add alarms to a speaker group, only to a speaker and the speakers that just happen to be grouped at that time, every morning 30 minutes before the alarm, my  Home Assistant system groups the speakers in my bedroom, guestroom (Play:3 in stereo pair), bathroom (One SL), and kitchen (play:1 stereo pair). This grouping works flawlessly, so every morning before the alarm plays, the desired speakers are grouped with my bedroom speakers).But..Since recently (hard to pinpoint), sometimes the alarm does not play at all, anywhere. Also, not the chimes backup. The chimes did used to p

My Sonos Beam recently dropped out of my app. I reset the device and went through the process of adding it back to the app.I got to the point where I got the message “Your Beam has been added, but may not appear in the System tab. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish set-up from the system tab”Indeed the Beam did not appear, and also did not appear if I switched the power off and on. Any clues on how to resolve this?

I originally setup my BEAM with an optical connection and now want to change to the HDMI ARC connection.  WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Beam Gen 2 volume issue: automatically drops to 15%. Even if i disconnect the hdmi cable which is hooked on a samsung 43Q67A TV with eARC, playing a stream from TuneIn. Volume limit is as default: 100% volume allowed.When i raise the volume i will see the slider automatically drop to 15% after a few seconds.Factory reset would not help. Is there a solution?

Hi, my partner’s just installed Sonos ARC and paired it with an OLED65C14LD. We would like to keep the autonomy of using the TV sound as and when. This, amongst other things will enable us to use headphones as far as we understand. However every time we go into the TV ‘sound out’ option and click ‘TV Speakers’ the option gets selected and lasts about 2 seconds, then the setting reverts automatically to HDMI (ARC) Device. The same happens when sellecting the ‘Wired Headphones’ option.We would like this to stop and be able to keep the TV Speakers on or Wired Headphones on for as long as we need them on. How do we achieve this?Many thanks for your support.

I have an Arc, 2 subs (Gen3) and 2 ones (Gen 2) w/ a Sony 65” A80J OLED. Should everything be on 2.4ghz or 5ghz?  

I currently have a Sonos Playbar set up on a living room TV. No surround speakers. The living room and kitchen are open and connected (one large rectangle) and I’d like to set up a Five at the far end of the area in the kitchen. The principal reason is for music: we’d like to be hit from both directions when sitting at our kitchen counter. But I’m wondering, can the Playbar and Five be grouped such that there will be no sound delay when watching TV? Thank you in advance!  

Hi, I recently purchased the Sonos Beam Shadow Edition from Costco.I have a Samsung TV, which doesnt have an Arc port so I used the other attachment. Forgot the type.Anyways I’m able to sync my samsung TVs remote to the Sonos soundbar and control the volume.However when I turn the TV off and on again, the TV remote defaults back to controlling the TVs volume AND the sound bar. What do I do?

From last few days my sonos subwoofer makes low beeping noise every few second.I ran diagnostics and number is 670796755

My Sonos beam constantly disappears from the app. I have to every time I open the app, unplug my sonos beam from the power, and plug it back in for it to show. I’ve called tech support once before and fixed my router settings to pick up B/G/N signals. That worked for about a week. Now, the Beam does not show up in the Sonos app unless I unplug the power and plug it back in.Is there another option for me to fix it? This is incredibly frustrating.

Hi my sonos one SL has stopped receiving power, it less than 5 months old. It was using it as a part sonos arc system.

I just upgraded from the Beam to the ARC. I'm using the HDMI to optical bc the Sharp TV has no arc-HDMI feature. The TV remove would run the Beam volume just fine, but does not work with the ARC. Yes, I've paired it with the Arc and the TVs internal speakers are set to off as they were with the Beam.  The IR/indicator light on the ARC does light up when I press the volumn, but it doesn't change the volumn at all. Any ideas?

Hey all, joined the Sonos family today!Beam Gen 2 and 2 x Sonos one SL.The rear speakers are on my back wall which my sofa backs directly onto.I have placed them about a foot above seated head height.Is this optimal? Or would ear level be better?Also they are on a shelf, should they be angled down? thanks in advance 

Hello,I have a Sonos Arc connected to my 2021 LG G1 television via the eARC HDMI cable that was provided with the soundbar. My system includes two Sonos Ones for surround and the Sonos sub. Over the last couple weeks, any Dolby Atmos content drops out after about 20 minutes. In order to get the sound back, I need to either unplug the HDMI cable and reconnect it, or switch to a different HDMI input and back to the original input via the TV remote. This happens when using the Xbox Series X via HDMI, or when using the Apple TV with any streaming services broadcasting in Atmos. I have tried several online troubleshooting steps such as: a different HDMI cable, unplugging the system and disconnecting the HDMI for several minutes and rebooting, turning off TV autoplay, disabling HDMI-CEC, disabling the TV’s wireless adapter and probably other things I am forgetting. Hello! I have to connect a monitor which only has 1 HDMI port to both Chromecast Ultra with HDMI port and Sonos Beam with HDMI cable. I have tried with a HDMI splitter out of the screen but it does not work. Any suggestion?

I will be moving my Beam Gen 1 upstairs and replacing it with a Beam Gen 2. It is quite difficult to get behind my TV to adjust the wires. So I am wondering if I can use the same power cord and HDMI cable from my Beam Gen 1 with the Beam Gen 2? Do they both use the same power and HDMI cords?

I’ve had the Arc with official Sonos wall mount for a bit over a year now, and this entire time I’ve had intermittent issues with crackling during sounds that have high bass. Doing some googling, I learned that the mount changes the EQ to reduce wall resonance. I’d like to try disabling this, but the magnets in the wall mount are getting in the way. Short of getting a mount without magnets (or hacking up the Sonos one), anyone know an existing way to disable it?If not, to Sonos engineering: can you please give us the option to force-disable this wall-mount EQ adjustment in software? Or even better, let us adjust the level of its impact with a slider. 

Hi,  If anyone could help that would be amazing, I have a Sonos Beam and the below Samsung series 7 tv.I have put both the tv and the soundbar on the wall, yet the beam has never worked with the tv. If I want to play music from my phone it’s great but from the tv it’s never worked. TV - Samsung UE55TU7000KXXU I have read most of other peoples questions on here, so I have:tried turning everything off, tv, beam and router. With the beam not connected to the HDMI (ARC) for 30 seconds tried turning just the tv off by taking the plug out for 30 seconds checked that it’s plugged into the arc hdmi checked that anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is on tried changing and turning off and on most of the sound settings in the TVThe tv does one of two things if I chose HDMI Arc or optical as the sound output setting it will make a noise for a split second of what is currently on the tv then jumps back to receiver (HDMI) or it just lets me select optical and no sound comes out of the beam at all.Next the Sonos app,

Hi, thanks in advance for any help you can provide with this issue.I have a stereo pair of One SL’s on my desk. I’m having an issue with the stereo balance between the two speakers. When I start a song playing, the stereo balance is centered, but over approximately 15-30 seconds, the center image drifts off to one side (one speaker is becoming louder or softer, but never drifting all the way to one side). When I pause the music, then start it again, the image is again centered but proceeds to drift off center again. What is perplexing is that this happens when using the Sonos app streaming any music service, it happens with Roon streaming Tidal or Qobuz, it happens with the Tidal app using Tidal Connect, but it does not happen when streaming via Airplay from any source. I'm having massive issues with both my Sonos systems (Amp and One SL).After some minutes Spotify just pauses and drops the connection to the system. I can instantly reconnect, issue comes back after a few minutes. Happens from both Android and macOS app.I didn't change anything in my network, the WiFi is working perfectly. I monitored my wifi and there is not a single package drop from other devices. There are very few WiFis around me, so there isn't much interference. I have exactly this setup since months, issues now started out of nothing.Does anybody have an idea what the cause could be?

I've more or less removed my sub and one sl's from my surround. Trying to add them back has been hours of failure. For some reason it added on of the rear speakers to another room and at some point I got the other doing a stereo pair. I have no idea how to get it all back to normal and my sub will not add no matter what. Can someone please help me. Noob mistake and I've been at it for hours.

A month ago this worked.  Today it does not.  The SONOS S1 app on my mac disappeared, so downloaded the updated one.  But it will not connect to the system.  MacOS 10.13.6 Sonos SystemsBEAM Sonos Boost First gen connect systemsSonos S1 Controller for Mac 11.2.13  Build 57923010 Fast.com WIFI speed:  540 MbpsWas all working fine September 2021.   Have powered all it off, then pulled the power for the BEAM, then tried to start it all as an S1 system but no luck:  “Sorry, we can’t connect to Sonos” from Sonos S1 app on MacOS. Complete iTune library on the MAC, portions on iOS devices.  Able to use IOS devices to drive entire system from music library on IOS devices but that is a subset of the larger music library.  Need the MacOS Sonos S1 app to work at least sufficiently to connect the music library….. Two folks spent 4 hours each on this for 8 hours, multi reboots, can’t get it to work, what will resolve this issue?  And why does it seem like we need to spend 10-20 hours a year on Sonos

Trying to set up Sonos beam in a different property . Have Sonos beam already working in another house but when trying to set one up in this house do I need another app , which when trying to install only puts me into my app I already have but the internet WiFi for this house is different so it doesn’t let me do anything . Do I need to change my WiFi connections each time I go to different houses and can I add the new beam onto the app I already have.

i Have read about this arc/TV problems with sound.”But i think this is a new version of it” so after i connected my arc there didn´t come any sound to the bar, unplugging hdmi at arc, sound comes to  TV.  so i unplug the TV/ ARC  and it worked,,, for few minutes.. take the tv down unplug all cabels and up and running for 5 minutes..   this is my job now and getting nuts on it… i have sent diagnose but what happens next?? talking with digital cpu is not helping..Thanks.
