Wonder if any one can help. I have just purchased the beam gen2 I have a Roku streamer approx 6 years old and a Panasonic txp42st30b with hdmi arc that's also about 6/7 years old. I know my Roku can play 5.1 as I had it setup on my old amp. Issue is whenever I set it to play anything other than stereo it doesn't work. I hear the 'click' when scrolling through the menu but when I play the actual program I get nothing unless I set audio output to stereo.

Check that the TV sound-out is set to ‘Auto’ rather than PCM and set the input signal to ‘Digital’ on the HDMI ports see attached page from online manual. See if that perhaps solves it for you.
