I’ve a Panasonic tv - using the TVs native apps I ca get 5.1 with my setup. However when using the diagnostics on the firestick I can’t seem to get 5.1. Any ideas how to resolve this?

I have a Sony TV and connected my new Beam to a HDMI ARC input. The Beam is connected to my network and to the app on my iPhone. I get no sound from the Beam even if I go to Settings on the TV and change output from TV speakers to Audio System. 

Hi,Looking for help!I use a Sonos Beam with my Samsung TV 55” QLED 4k Smart TV Q80B connected with the Sonos supplied HDMI eARC.The audio works great for between two days and two weeks, then I will randomly turn on the TV and the audio is being played through the TV speakers. The Beam shows up as a video thumbnail through HDMI 3 playing a short demo video. I can’t get it to recognize as an eARC.I unplug the Beam and the TV from power and the HDMI eARC. Plug it back in and viola. It is all good. However, I don’t want to do this weekly. Looking for help troubleshooting. Thanks!

My Beam Gen 2 causes the tv to blackout for a couple of seconds periodically (every 10-30 seconds). I have a TV box plugged into the HDMI port of the tv, and the Beam is connect via HDMI Arc to the tv. I have checked to ensure the tv has the latest updates. All HDMI cables are high speed cables. I’ve also tried unplugging the tv for several minutes, and the beam. When the Beam is disconnected the TV works perfect with no blackouts. The same issue happens if I switch the HDMI connections. I ran a diagnostics test and reference number is 1450731502. 

Greetings, I’m wondering if I can mix up the speakers used in a home theatre setup. Specifically, I just bought a Beam and already have a One speaker in the basement that I don’t use much. Wondering if I can buy another smaller speaker, such as a Move or Era 100, and use that with the Beam and the One to create a surround effect (or just better sound) for both TV and regular music. I’d really like to use the Move, so I can bring it outside with me when listening to music while grilling. Any thoughts are welcome, pro or con. Thanks.   

I got  Ray for Christmas . I connected it via the optical cable to my Sony Tv. The only problem is that the ray and the speakers on the tv seem to play together. I get round this by using the mute button on the tv control. My partner wants to be able to control the ray using the tv remote ( IR ) and not have to use the Sonos app.i have been in the tv sound menu but have not been able to sort it . Any advice /comments appreciated

Hi all, Adding my hat to the ring for this already existing topic...I’m this close to going back to a Bluetooth solution for my audio needs because this issue is super lame … I used to think my older MacBookPro running MacOS Mojave had something to do with my problems, but I’ve just upgraded to a brand new 2023 MBP running the latest MacOS Sonoma 14.2 and the same problem persists… _ I stream my video to a projector and send audio through AirPlay to an early 2023 Beam, two SL One’s for surround, & a Sub Mini - WHEN it works, it works great._ I use Safari 17.2 for my video stream_ I briefly tried Firefox but did not see an improvement so went back to my go-to Safari._ I’ve tested with Amazon Prime, ATV+, Hulu, and Netflix and the problem is there. So I have a Playbase and happy with it and still works, but wondering what could works best with it when thinking of todays updates. Would it be able to take advantage of anything the 300’s offer? Wondering if it is worth reconfiguring it…. I can connect:Sub-MiniOne’sEra100sEra300s 

Hi team, I just got a Sonos Arc and two Era 100s to use as surrounds, but as I’ve been using it I've noticed that the only sound I’m getting is Stereo PCM. While this does still sound 100x better than what I used to have, I would like to get as much quality sound as I can out of this system. Here’s my set up as of now: Sonos Arc → HDMI 3 ARC Port (no eARC port, old plasma tv)Apple TV 4K → HDMI 2Era 100s as rear surrounds (back left and right)I have it true tuned and everything as well. Is there any way to get a higher sound quality than base Stereo PCM with only my ARC Port and no eARC? Also, as a side question, Should I keep the Eras behind or should I move closer to the sides or the front as front left and right channels? Thanks in advance for any and all advice!!

Sometimes the audio stops working on Beam Gen 2 when streaming Netflix or Amazon Prime. The audio will still work on Direct TV when this occurs. The Beam is connected to a Samsung TV with Dolby Atmos capability via HDMI eARC. 

I have the two AMPs and SUB playing house music via Ethernet in the main bedroom. There is a motorized screen with projector in the headboard and four ceiling speakers. No place for a soundbar. What is the easiest way to autoswitch the audio source from Sonos music to HDMI Roku streaming stick? I have gotten the two AMPs to sense and switch the line out stereo from the projector but want 4.1 surround. Do I need an HDMI ARC Audio Extractor? Will each AMP get its own HDMI feed? Can the surround AMP be configured to play only the surround HDMI signal? I wear hearing aids. I have trouble with the sound coming from the 2 smaller speakers as it is the background noise, and the voices are coming out of the sound bar. Is there a way to fix that so the voices come out of the little speakers as well? or reverse it?

When watching tv I use a group of speakers. I don’t want Era 100s to be surround, I want them to play full audio. The next day when I turn on TV, only the Arc plays and I have to find my phone which is usually upstairs on charger to add other speakers (group). Is there a way to make system resume playing the same group without having to re-group them daily? 

My TV and Sonos play bar have been working fine for well over 12 months. Then last night, my TV turned itself off and every time I turned it back on by the remote. It turned itself off again after unplugging both sound bar and TV from the wall and waiting a short while plugging them back in and I’ve even reset the play bar. Both work fine independently but the play bar will not play. What’s on TV today I have bought a new optical audio cable and I’ve plugged that in and it is no better  I have the television speakers turned off and have tried to reset the remote with the sound bar which I’ve done and again seems to work fine but the sound bar still does not play what’s on the TV. Can anybody help please

I've been experiencing an issue with my Sonos Arc where the Alexa voice assistant keeps turning off. Despite multiple attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling, the problem persists. Additionally, there are instances where the Arc spontaneously turns off and on throughout the evening. When this happens, I'm unable to turn it back on through the app and must resort to using the controls on the Arc itself. Notably, I previously had a Beam set up in the same manner, and it worked flawlessly. I'm wondering what might be causing this problem or if there's a potential issue with the Arc itself?

I’m considering buying a Sonos Arc but before I do I want to make sure it will work for the intended purpose. Is it possible for me to set up a Sonos Arc, 2 Sonos One and Sonos Bass as surround sound on my TV and also use the same 2 Sonos Ones as a stereo pair when I’m playing music or does one negate the other? Thanks. 

 Have a whole bunch of Sonos stuff, everything has been working fine but now something has happened. Can't get SUB & Play:1 to work with playbar.If I make a stereo pair of Play:1 it works perfectly with or without sub, if I connect sub to any other speakers it works fine but if I try to connect them to playbar it doesn't work. Have reset and reinstalled tons of times. It refuses to work however the Playbar as it is also works without problems.(Before, I use a network cable but after I talked to sonos support, now all speakers are on WIFI)Searched the Sonos forum found others with the same problem but nowhere have I found how to solve it, does anyone here have any good tips before all the hair is gone :-) 

I have an Arc connected to an older Vizio TV. The sound will drop out for 5 to 60 seconds and then come back. I used the HDMI  cable that came with the Arc. I tried rebooting the TV and resetting the soundbar. How do I tell if it’s the TV or the Arc?

My configuration:• Television: Sony KD55AF8• BR: Sony UBP X-800• Sound: SONOS ARCHD FURY Arcana:• Firmware 0.82 V2• HDMI output: HDMI 3 (arc) SONY TV• eArc out: Original SONOS HDMI cable to SONOS ARC• HDMI input: HDMI from UBP X-800All HDMI cables are brand new, High SpeedUntil the day before yesterday I had sound with this configuration and I could watch TV, play DVDs and Bluerays WITH image and sound. Not anymore yesterday.What did I do next:• Arcana reset to factory settings. No result• Arcana and SONOS ARC disconnected from power for approximately one minute. No result.• Removed Arcana and connected SONOS ARC directly to HDMI3 (arc) from SONY AF8. Sound and images on television.Tried again this morning. Still no picture and sound. Arcana indicates that there is contact between TV and Arcana and BR and arcana. However, no sound.Then tried to contact the TV

I/ve been running into issues setting up my new Sub (gen 3) and Arc that I got this week. I was able to set up the Arc without any problems, but when I try to bond the sub to the arc I get an error message (unable to connect). This happens after I set up the sub, connect it to the wifi, and then try to associate the sub to the arc. I’ve tried resetting multiple times (requires a factory reset) and it just will not work. During the bonding process the sub status light goes from bright blinking white to solid dim white. The name of the arc after has a (+ ?) after it, and I can remove the sub. But can’t try re-adding it until I do another factory reset.I’m using eero pro 6. I’ve turned off client steering and also forced the network to be 2.4GHz temporarily and none of this helps.I just created a diagnostic report 765914184.I tried contacting Sonos support but they apparently don’t offer weekend support (for a $1500 product is quite surprisi

Went away for a holiday for 10 days. Came back and everything seemingly was OK - Arc, Sub, and left One SL - except the right One SL, which has disconnected and I can't reconnect. App is useless "Make sure it's powered on'" (yep) "and connected to WiFi" (well it was when I went on holidays, now I don't get an option to reconnect it).The networking configuration with Sonos is nothing short of horrible.Is this a complete reboot and reconnect everything (yet again) situation?

Is there a way to caonnect headphones to an Arc?
