Since 4/29 I get no sound out of my ARC speakers on both TVs. Once it worked but only once. When playing music the speakers in the bedrooms would not put out sound or would flutter in and out. Other speakers would work. Then some of those would have similar issues. Today, tried to stop music (pushing the appropriate button) and it would not stop. Then eventually it would.Mentioned this to a friend who said he has been experiencing the same issues for the same amount of time.I check settings and the app is not telling me anything wrong/needs to be fixed. Other than asking me if I want to Tune <speaker> with Trueplay. Given that was released some time ago I concluded that likely is not the cause of what I am experiencing.My friend mentioned that he got a message about a new app (May 7th I read) and thought the release of that could be causing the issues. Seems if two different people in two different locations experiencing the same issues during the same timeframe that there must b

This is driving me insane!! I keep getting an error message saying my wifi network is unstable so playback is interrupted but there's absolutely nothing wrong what do ever with my wifi connection, it's lighting quick and play 1 speakers that I have well away from my router up in my shed (maybe 100 feet away from router) work just fine, I only have this issue when I add my living room set up to my other devices.  I have several play ones, a play 3, a play 5 and era 300 and this issue only happens when I add my play at and surrounds to an internet steaming service such as Spotify or Deezer etc or try listening to a radio station.  I've tried a reboot on the playbar and the two surrounds, I've also disconnected the two surrounds from the living room set up and they work fine, the issue only happens when I connect the playbar.  I've never touched any network settings or anything wifi router related and my tv steams everything just fine so I don't agree with the sonos message that my wifi i

My Sonos Playbar only has a digital optical input and my TV does not have a digital optical output - only HDMI arc. How can I connect the TV to the Playbar? 

Have just set up my new Samsung QN90B TV. My Sonos Arc is connected via HDMI eArc. I have opened a Netflix stream with Dolby Atmos through the TV native app. On the Sonos app it is only showing a Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1. I am not 100% sure but I'm sure that this doesn't have Atmos signal.Any idea how I can tweak settings/etc. to receive Dolby Atmos signal. Cheers

I am able to connect my Amp/Sub/4 ceiling speakers to my TV, but when I try to connect my Arc, I am being prompted to use the Arc or the other set up.  I would like all the speakers to work in tandem when watching TV.  Can someone please let me know what I am doing incorrectly? thanks!

Hi everyone, I have an issue with my beam (gen 2) and I have no clue what to do, I connected it to my TCL tv with the supplied HDMI cable, and the audio sounded crispy, and then I realized it frequently goes bad... everything is good and the sound is clear and then it becomes muffled for short time(like someone put it in a box) and clears up again, this happens really frequently and hard to keep track of, I tried sending a recording to support and they said they couldn't hear anything wrong…what can I do? this is annoying and nothing helps... I tried factory reset and connecting using optical cable…  The audio is good till 0:08 and turns good again at 0:25i uploaded the audio clip to http://sndup.net/gnn6(googled anonymous audio upload)

cst6321We have a Sonos Amp in our home, with pairs of indoor and outdoor speakers (not Sonos Brand), hard wired to the Sonos Amp, and we have no major issues playing music through these speakers, via streaming services and the Sonos App on our phones.For the context of this post, leave the outdoor speakers out of the conversation. This pertains to the in-ceiling speakers we have in our family room and wanting to set them up as surround speakers for our TV.We also have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected to our living room TV. We want to connect the Beam2 to the Amp which has the hard wired speakers, to get surround sound. We can connect both separately and even play music from our phones through both the ceiling speakers and Beam at the same time. But TV sound only comes through the beam2, not at all through the ceiling speakers. How do we connect the Beam2 to the Amp for surround sound?

Does Sonos Amp support Dolby Atmos? 

Hey all,I had a bad experience back in the days of the LG C7 with lip sync issues with the Sonos Playbar & Arc. I’m looking to buy an LG G4 & was wondering with eARC these days if people with LG TV’s are still having lip sync issues or other problems with LG TV’s?Would really appreciate some help from those particularly with newer LG’s like the C3, G3, C4 & G4 etc.

Why do I have to listen to Sonos telling me that I have just put the volume up or down when the system is connected via my arc hdmi port on my tv.  It blocks out sound and if I adjust sound vis controller three times I feel like throwing the system out of the window as all I hear is Sonos volume up hdmi repeated for each time I hit the volume up button.  I then loose the sound track I was attempting to listen too.  why ??? Can I turn this annoying sound/ function off?

The last couple of months, the upward-firing drivers on my Arc and Era 300s (as surrounds) randomly become silent and don’t play any height channel audio from a Dolby Atmos source. This happens with all connected devices (Apple TV 4K, Panasonic UB820 Blu-ray player, Roku Ultra) connected to my TV (LG C3 OLED). I have had to unplug the Arc from power about five separate times to get the drivers to work again. I imagine this is happening to more users, but they probably haven’t noticed because it is just the height channel effects missing from the audio. But it is pretty noticeable when playing music in Dolby Atmos as there are pieces of the song completely missing.If I had to guess, the problem started happening after the 16.0 S2 update. But it could possibly be an LG issue too since I purchased the C3 at the end of January.I have seen one other user on Reddit report the same problem. Hi - I’m about to purchase a Samsung s90c, but before I do I wanted to check if anyone has had any compatibility issues with the Sonos Arc. I originally had a Samsung q90T that I’m getting rid of - it has an issue with my Sonos Arc where the sound will cut out for a second every 15-20 minutes when Atmos is turned on via my PS5. When I had my playbar connected to it, it had awful sync issues. Needless to say, the Q90t has to go. But if anyone here has experienced issues with the Samsung s90c please let me know. I’m also considering the LG c3 but I don’t like the picture quality as much.

Hi, I have just upgraded my Sonos soundbar from a Beam 2 to a Sonos Arc it seems fine however I cannot for the life of me get the Arc to connect to my Era 300,s I have reset the 300,s and turned the router off/on but the Arc won’t recognise the Era,s can anybody offer any advise as my patience has a hair trigger.Thanks in advanceRichard.

I have a 2020 Samsung qled with arc and I can only get Dolby 5.1 over arc and the Sonos website says I should be able to at least get compressed Atmos over arc. I’ve tried it all I feel and I’m stumped

Can I adjust the sound spectrum on my Ray to eliminate or reduce the low frequency booming sound from the speaker?

I just bought a new Samsung Frame TV and I have it connected to a Sonos Ray soundbar via an optical audio cable. I also have 2 ceiling speakers in the TV room connected to an amp in my basement tithat I am unable to run a HDMI Arc directly from since it’s on the other side of the house. I was able to connect my Samsung TV remote to the Ray soundbar and can control the volume on that. I read that I wouldn’t be able to control the volume of my ceiling speakers connected to my amp with my TV remote since it’s wireless, but I just successfully did the remote control setup in the sonos app and connected it to my amp that runs the ceiling speakers in my TV room and it does in fact control the volume of the speakers. The only issue is, since I guess it controls it with IR, it only changes the volume on the amp when the remote is pointed directly at it, and since my tv is on the other side of the house, it doesn’t control the volume from the TV room.My question is, is there some sort of produc

Help!  Spent several hours today trying to set up my two new ERA 100 speakers with my existing ARC system and Sub Mini, all playing through a big Samsung TV, with Pandora music in the daytime and evening news and a few streaming or network shows in the evening.  I play Pandora music using the app on the Samsung, but the two ERA speakers would not respond with that approach--zero sound from the ERAs.  The tech support person suggested using the Sonos app to access Pandora.  That works, but that’s not how I want to access Pandora.  Pandora has worked just fine using the Samsung TV remote until I added the ERA speakers.  But it won’t work that way with the ERA speakers.  My tech support person seemed as frustrated as I was.  After nearly two hours working with her, I could see that we were getting nowhere by doing down the same paths over and over-with the same negative results.  I suggested that she get with someone who could solve the problem which she promised to try to do.  So I have

WiFi in my home does not reach my Era300s or sub but my Arc is hard wired to Ethernet switch. Will Arc create a network and talk to Era300s and my sub gen 3 for home theatre or do I need to hard Ethernet wire the other speakers too. Thanks in advance.  

Hi There, Please I need some ideas.  I have a Samsung 98 inch Neo QLED QN90A (QN98QN90AAFXZA) and a sonos ARC with two ERA 300 for surround and 2 Gen3 subs.  The Arc is connected to the tvs EARC port.  I get sound find and I am able to pass through Atmos, and dolby digital plus and others. I tried to stream from my nvidia shield 2019 and via plex I get sound cutting out. I have tried it via netflix same thing.  I still get the audio cutting out on Youtube and plex on the native TV.  Here are the steps I have tried to fix this: 1-Replaced all HDMI cables2-Tried different input ports for shield3-Replaced my ARC with a brand new one (up to date with latest firmware as of 4-27-2024)4-Replaced my shield with a 2nd one around the house(up to date with latest firmware as of 4-27-2024)5-Tried testing it directly from tv app vs shield same issue6-Tried messing with the settings on the tv like earc auto and off, pass-though on and auto7-Adjusted the delay to sync the earc( this seems to help but

I have an Onkyo TX-RZ50 AV Receiver and it won’t recognize the Sonos Port.  The Portis plugged into the CD input jack. During the setup of Hardware, the receiver doesn’tallow “works with Sonos” to light up.  Has Onkyo had a computer glitch with the particularreceiver?

I recently got myself an era300 and really impressed. I am (sadly for my wallet) tempted to get another one and use as rears for my beam gen2 /sub mini setup and replace my era 100’s with 300’s. Anyone with a similar setup? My living room is quite small/mis sized for uk standards. 4.37x3.68m and i am already quite impressed with the current setup but there is so much praise out there about era300’s as rears and it’ll be a future investment for the next gen soundbar sonos will release? thoughts, experiences ?

hey everyone. i got myself a refurbished era 300. it came with a good discount and considering the 100 days return policy, i wanted to give it a shot. i love it overall! i was just curious about one thing. I only have 1 unit (not stereo) and i think music gets loud and room filling after 50 percent more like 65-70 range. is that normal? i guess the only reason i ask this silly question is my home theatre setup which is beam gen2, sub mini and 2x era100’s get very very loud. it’s probably a output total watt kind of thing but i wanted to check. thanks

Here is my scenario which i need to explain to hopefully have someone understand my issue and help with my a solution.  So my home is setup with ceiling speakers in every room with their own dedicated amp. The amps are all set up in my basement far away from my tv. I just bought a new Samsung frame tv and wanted to connect the tv to the ceiling speakers in the living room that it’s in, but i don’t have the option to run an hdmi from the living room to the amp in my basement. So what i did was buy a Sonos Ray speaker, connected that to my Samsung frame tv via an optical digital audio cable, and then i was able to add the Ray speaker to my Sonos system via its WiFi and was then able to link the ceiling speakers in my living room with the Ray speaker. So now I’m able to play my tv volume through both the Ray speaker and the ceiling speakers in my living room.  Here is where I’m having an issue. I want to be able to control both the Ray speaker and my ceiling speakers volume with my Samsun

Before this latest version of LG’s TV OS...I had a Sonos Arc setup with my LG G2 and there was just one sound control and the TV’s speakers were not used.  Now...the TV sends sound thru its speakers and the Sonos ARC.   Is this expected? How can I make it so I can manage both sources thru the Sonos app? Am I missing something ?

i have a silly question :)i have a portable projector. Halo xgimi+ which has an aux port. Due to my room layout i can only place the portable projector close to my rear speakers which are era 100’s. So the question is, if connect the projector via aux cable to my era 100 via sonos cable (usb-c to aux) would that allow me to use the whole home theatre system?
