I have the Arc, Sub and One SLs for surrounds, anytime I connect the sub and/or surrounds to the Arc they disappear out of the app and do not play sound or music.i have reset the router. Factory reset everything.unplugged the router unplugged everything, factory reset and turned on one at a time. Unplugged the arc, reset the router, then plugged it back in.   Nothing has fixed the issue.  What do I do now?

Another big bug with this new app….i randomly get where the “group” for my arc, surrounds, and subwoofer do not show being hooked up to TV/HDMI but instead say that no music is currently be played. When this happens, the equalizer shows everything at 0 and trying to change anything, it slides right back to zero. Then after time passes (usually hours) it will go back to acting like a home theater group and show the TV/HDMI source, state what format the audio is in (Atmos, 5.1, etc), and the equalizer becomes usable again. I have a Sonos ARC, an Amp with two Architectural in ceiling speakers, and a sub-mini. Initially, they were all connected via WiFI and worked consistently for TV, but they often disassociated as a group when playing music through the Sonos app. I would see the Arc, but not the Amp and Sub Mini (showing ? Instead of the product in the Sonos app).After reading some suggestions here in the community, I ran Ethernet to the Amp and the Arc. Since that time, the Arc, Amp, and Mini have all consistently been available as a group in the Sonos app for selection. But I started noticing a different problem.Every so often while watching TV the television would lose connection to the Arc and switch to speakers. Following advice from this community, I removed all HDMI sources and ran just native television apps while connected to the Arc, and the problem continued. I have a pair of era 300s. Pair with a beam gen2 and a sub.   Can I use the era 300 on Bluetooth as well 

I’m sure this is simple. My husband wants all the tech but has no clue how to set things up and leaves it to me. we have a Roam .. easy to set up and was working nicely with no issue.  Then he bought an arc, amp and 2 ceiling speakers and here’s where I’m at:Arc is up and running no problem. Connected to TV via HDMI ARC port on TV  AMP is plugged in and wired to ceiling speakers but I can’t see it on the app. I def added it and entered the pin. I saw it was connected to WiFi when I deleted and reinstalled the app so it’s there somewhereROAM seems to have disappeared once arc was added but a/a it was there when I reinstalled the appQuestions:Do I need an optical adapter to connect AMP to TV (is this all I need to create surround sound from ceiling speakers?)How can I find / use ROAM independently? This needs to be separate from TV but all I see on my app is “family room” with the Arc.  The addition of the Arc seems to have changed everything?can I not just use one Sonos app to control A

Despite repeated efforts over the last 72 hours, I remain unable to link my Gen 3 subwoofer to my Sonos account.  Help!

I'm trying to put youtube music on my sonos app. Not the new app but older one. I have the playbar an Gen 3 sub. It keeps telling me to sign out and then in as the owner. So I signed out I made a new password I signed in I don't know how I determine or how I tell it I'm the owner I mean I would assume it would know that I'm the owner. I recently moved so it's that fruit you know probably a good month before I got it back up and running and I have it wired into my Blackhawk six router hardwired I'll just find it seems to run better that way I love the products I love the sound I listen to music daily everyday and I find the YouTube music is a little bit easier accessible when you want to listen to something particular so in that regard and I've already had a YouTube music account so I might try downloading the new app and then doing it that way but any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated thank you

I have mobile 5G mobile broadband, sonos sound bar and sub (gen 1) with two play 3’s as rears plus a Play5. Im struggling to set up now I've switched from a normal broadband router to a mobile hotspot type 5g system. The system is both 2.4 and 5. It would be great to have some help 🤩

When watching TV I have the beam sound set high and control the volume with the TV remote.  If I forget to turn it down it wakes up the neighbours when I play music.  I want separate volume control for WiFi vs cable inputs.  My remote won’t pair with Sonos.  

Hi everyone.So my current set up is:LG C2 OLED TVSony UBP X-700 4K blu ray playerSonos Arc + 2x Play 1’s and Sub.I’ve had the above set-up for over 6 months now and have never had any issues playing any of my 4K discs. I’ve never had to fiddle with any settings on the TV or Blu Ray player, just pop them in and they will play fine.However, in the past week all of my DTS-HD 5.1 discs have suddenly stopped playing any sound. My discs that are Atmos, DTS:X or DTS-HD 7.1 all still work perfectly - but every single 5.1 disc is silent. Checking the threads on here i can find various suggestions for different settings on the TV and BR player, but having spent hours going through trying different ones and while most didn’t work, i have now managed to get it working by changing the Digital Sound Output setting on the TV to PCM. After changing this, my Sonos app now shows ‘Stereo PCM’ instead of ‘DTS-HD 5.1’ as it has always done.My questions are:Has anyone else (hopefully with the same setup as

Hey all,  So, I just ordered the ARC and will wall mount it below my 65” TV in my open living / kitchen. I am thinking of buying 2 x Era300 and having them behind the couch for surround system. The issue that I am facing is lack of electricity outlets where you easily could connect the speakers too. My idea would to connect them and have them under the sofa and having an extension cord running on the floor and under the TV-bench. The open space is 29,99M2 I measured and the distance where the cable would be out on the floor is 64, and 39cm of them is on the actual floor ( rest is on the rug). One solution would be to have a some chord cover on the floor. It is 283 cm from the wall, where TV and Arc will be mounted, to behind the couch where I would place the Era’s. Does this layout sound good? Will it be worth it even, with the distance between the Arc and the Era’s, they aren’t cheap… 

LG smart Tv set the audio output to Sonos Move2from the Sonos app select 2 x play 1 I would usually select the above when watching You Tubeive updated to the new Sonos app and now adding other speakers doesn’t work (please try later) message-have reset all speakers / rebooted router / reinstalled Sonos app / hardwired speakers (rj45) /  still not functioning - will only link to the Move2 

I have a Sonos Arc connected to a Pioneer PDP-LX508a Plasma.because of the age of the TV it does not have ARC and will not pass HDMI audio through to the optical out it will only pass it through analog….strange I know.for me to use the Sonos Arc I had to use one of those small analog to digital converters with optical out and connect the optical using the Sonos optical to HDMI converter ….this worked a treat for the last 12 months until the last day or two, it stopped passing the audio.i have tried everything to find the problem and the only thing I can come up with is that Sonos has done an update and it’s broken the Sonos optical to HDMI adapter 😡…..but I  have a work around for it !!I had an old ZP80 lying around not doing anything So i noticed it had an analog line in and an optical out.I fired up the old S1 app and connected it to the network, then I selected line in, connected the analog out from my TV and connected the optical adapter to the ARC and sound !!So until it gets rec

Just documenting a (to me) new problem with the Sonos app (the old one) that I haven’t seen mentioned yet on this forum. I’d blocked app updates and had been using the old app for as long as I could and today I lost the ability to move my sub from one “room” (my TV / beam / surrounds) to another (my play 5 / turntable). The sub is on and plays - you just can’t move it to a new location. (I have one sub which I use to play vinyl with a play 5 and then when I watch tv / stream [in the same physical room] I move it to the new Sonos room]I’ve tried searching this forum and I’ve a seen a bunch of different variations in this question but I can’t tell which one is actually my problem but more importantly what the answer might be.  I’m wondering if any folks have this problem as well, and if anyone has it who is using the new app. I’m trying to figure out if I need to bite the bullet and just update the app to make the problem go away, or if it is another issue. 

Can't pair mu new sub min with my sonos arc, after the update the app ,after running the proceses to pair, I get a message  that said I need  to check my network o check if my system it’s on, doe any one knows how to fix this problem? 

I know this garbage app has ruined everyone’s system. Anyone know how to get a sub to reconnect to their system.  I’ve spent 3 ½ hours on it. This app needs to be in the trash and the old app put back on the App Store. Knowing Sonos it will be years till it’s fixed. 

So, at this point we're all more than aware of what an elementary update Sonos recently released, but one thing I haven't seen or heard mentioned is; are they going to bring back the TV function?!? I am having to go into my office and use the app on the Windows to switch from music to TV and beyond annoying at this point.... everything about this release was questionable and if they don't correct these issues, they're going to lose a lot of customers! Over it!

I’ve got an Arc connected to my Samsung TV via HDMI. It works when using Xfinity, and all the streaming services (via Xfinity box), Prime TV, AppleTV, etc all work fine. But if I open Peacock the audio never works.  I have to unplug the Arc to get the audio to work out of the TV

My Sonos isn’t working from the remote. The sound is coming from it and my phone . But, I can’t control the volume from the remote

After updating to new ap on ios I can’t control or play anything on my move alongside my beam etc

I have followed The instructions noted below. In the Sonos app when I ran TV set up, it would not run. The Sonos arc connected to the TV.  However, when the tv is shut off, it reverts to the internal speaker.here are the steps I followedDisconnect everything from the TV including the Arc and unplug the TV and Arc from power for a couple of minutes. Then plug everything back in but keep everything disconnected. Enable Simplink on your TV, then run TV Setup in the Sonos app under the Arc’s settings. When the app instructs you to, connect the Arc to the TV’s HDMI ARC port using the Sonos-supplied HDMI cable. When the Arc has been successfully connected, connect any other device to the TV.is there another more reliable way to connect the sinks arc to the tv? Bluetooth? Optical?

Just bought a new Hisense Roku tv and I have a Sonys soundbar gen 1 - cannot get them connected via the eARC connection.  Tried the optical adapter, tv still does not see the CEC device and does not connect.  any ideas? 

Hi,         I have had an Arc for a while. I recently purchased the LG Oled G3. I also have an AppleTv. When I connect the Apple TV to the TV and play a Dolby Vision & Atmos movie and check the Sonos app, look at the Arc all I see is HDMI.  I this correct? How can I see if the Arc is receiving an Atmos signal?  Thanks,John

Can I trueplay arc, sub and rear surrounds via Amp, if the rear speakers are not Sonos?

I have a Toshiba CT-8555 TV, Sonos Playbar 1, Apple TV 4K. Playbar connected via optical cable. Apple TV connected to TV via HDMI. I cannot set up my TV remote with the sonos app, it does not recognise it. I have reset the playbar, i have followed the steps suggested - change batteries in remote, turn off the tv etc etc. I can only control the volume of the sonos through the sonos app, not through my apple tv remote, which is the goal. I have the same set up in a different room but with a Sony TV and it all works fine. I am fed up! Please help. I want to control the sound through the playbar with my apple remote!!!
