Who else is sitting in this boat with my lame butt? Lol. Was unable to get stands for these things. Much larger than I imagined so sitting on end tables isn't happening (and not positioned optimal either with this option. I just do not get why everything they launch a new product, there is never enough stands. They sound great sitting on make shift stacks to test them, but will be getting packed up until I can get stands (anyone who is married gets this). Again I just don't get how they are never ready for the stand demand every single time.

Hello everyone from Rome :-)I write because I need the experts of this wonderful brand!I have a full system with Arc + Sub(Gen3) + One, I only watch movies with 4K discs and Playstation 5.I would like to understand if the addition of the Era300 gives me something more about the Atmos, given that the Arc itself already has speakers that go upwards for the Atmos effect.Does buying the Era300 increase the atmos effect? So I would have the Arc + Era300 atmos speakers? Thanks to everyone for the precious advices!

P****D OFF CUSTOMER HERE!!!I got 2 ea ERA 100 and 2 ea ERA 300 for a SURROUND SOUND system, well guess what they dont wokr togther with ARC, I was told by a rep yes all good and will work, so I preordered and waited weeks.   Get them today and well the 100 and 300 DO NOT DO SURROUND SOUND TOGETHER, so I call Sono and for a SURROUND sound you need to have either 4 ea ERA 100 or 4 ea ERA 300 - YOU CAN NOT MIX AND MATCH THEM - LIKE REALLY WTF!!!!  How lame a$$ stupid is that!!!!!!! Wasted time and money!!!!

Hi all, I recently moved into a house with existing wired ceiling speakers right above the TV unit and I already own an ARC, SUB and two Ones as surround. Is it possible to hook two speakers to the SONOS system? Would that be an overkill for what I already have? Thanks

Guys the sofa cannot be moved.Should I get two SYMFONISK Frames and mount them on the rear wall, or should I get two Era 100 or One SL and place them on the side?Assuming I will do a Trueplay Tuning in either senario.

Hi All, I’ve seen several threads re the mute issue with the Beam, but understood that updates would resolve it. We have just bought the new Beam and every time we turn off the TV with the remote, it mutes the bar. If I use the Beam through the Snons App, it is muted to start (from turning off the TV) but when I stop the music, it stays at that volume. It’s not too much of an inconvenience, now that I know what is happening, but I’d like to know why it is defaulting to mute every time.

Hey, I‘m looking to buy a home theater surround system (basically a Beam and 2 Era 100s). I want to know, if I can connect the whole system to my iPad or MacBook, which streams the movie to a wired projector. Edit: The iPad/MacBook both support AirPlay 2. Thanks in advance for your response !

Hi,Need some help with an annoying issue. I have a Samsung TV (QE55R 2019) + Beam Gen. 2. At startup of the tv it cycles thru connecting and disconnecting HDMI-eArc some 4-8 times before settling on either eArc on or off (roulette). I have tried disconnecting everything (have a PS5 connected to the one-connect box also). Think the problem started when I connected the PS5 but not sure. Have tried several fixes and nothing seems to get rid if the connect/disconnect cycling.

I currently have a Sonos Beam Gen2 connected to my Samsung 4K TV on HDMI 4eARC.My Apple TV is connected VIA HDMI to Port 3 of my TV.I am playing Netflix movies that are Dolby Atmos but the Sonos app shows Dolby Digital 5.1.Things I have checked…Netflix is premium Ultra HD and quality is set high.Apple TV is set to Audio Format “off”TV audio is set to Bitstream-Dolby Digital 5.1Can't seem to get “Atmos” to work...

We got our Beam 2 installed about a month ago.  We have Direct TV and a Samsung Smart TV. The lip sync is OK when we’re watching recorded programs or movies using the DVD player.  Live TV is almost always off on at least one station, sometimes on all stations.  I’ve tried rebooting everything.  Sometimes it will improve for awhile, then revert back to being way off.  We’ve had the Geek Squad out to the house and they couldn’t resolve  the problem.  They suggested that we call Direct TV and perhaps get a new Direct TV box.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  We’re getting pretty frustrated.

I'm shocked at how poor the audio dialogue on the Sonos Arc is. I play media from all possible sources, and I'm constantly adjusting the audio levels to hear the conversation.  @Sonos When can we expect a fix to this audio dialogue issue for Arc users?

The Arc should have an option to automatically switch EQ settings based on whether you are in “TV mode” or playing music.  For example, Speech Enhancement is great when watching TV, but does not offer a good music listening experience.  For music, many people prefer to have more bass.  Having to constantly adjust EQ is not great, but necessary for those users (like me) who use the Arc for both TV and music.

Long story short… my Sub was amazing when I first got it in July of 22. However the last month or so the wow factor has gone. I couldn’t feel it or hear it like I could.I called Sonos and spent an hour or so on the phone. They concluded it must be faulty, but they couldn’t detect an issue.I went out got a brand new 2nd Sub, run them as a pair and it’s still underwhelming. The songs I played to show how good the sub is to friends, now sounds ordinary. No way would I want to show this off now.  I’m running an arc, 2x One’s, 2x subs all with latest updates.  any thoughts?

Hello! I am considering getting a home theatre set (Arc + 2 Era 300 + 2 Sub), and am wondering when I’m not watching movies, can I use just one of the Era 300 speakers to play music via Bluetooth or will I always have to use the entire home theatre system? Thanks y’all!

I really like the aesthetic of the speakers and would like to great a surrounding room of speakers with them.I would like to also use a mix of speakers including the picture frame and light models with the IKEA collab.I would Ideally like a 9.3.6 setup.3 subwoofers… one of the bigger one and two of the smaller ones at the rear of the sofa. Then the wall speakers for the celling. The thing is, I do understand there will be now speaker timing added to this so I was thinking maybe they could bring out a unit one day that allows a user to connect whatever setup they have and include a multi direction microphone to tune a timing alignment setting to the setup.Because also, Atmos music in the producer community is starting to rise, we will eventually end up with Atmos music mixes as a standard at some point.Food for thought Sonus?I’m a producer and mix engineer myself also… any plans of studio monitors?… (side note that isn’t that important)

I have an Arc, sub mini which are connected. There’s a move in the room also and I’m getting an Era300, will I be able to do a 5.1 set up with the move and Era300?

I just finished my AV setup as follows: TV w/ HDMI cable to Sonos Arc, plus Sonos Sub and Sonos Amp connected via ethernet (and wifi). I have a turntable and CD player going into a switch that’s connected to the Amp’s line in.  I also have 2 satellite speakers connected to the Sonos Amp.I’ve been able to get the satellite speakers to work as surround by putting all 3 devices in 1 “room” on the app. I’ve also been able to get the turntable and CD player to play through the line in by creating a 2nd “room”, assigning the Sub and Amp to it, and then enabling both room1 and room2 during playback. To go back to watching TV, I have to reassign the Sub and the Amp to room1.My question is this: Is there a way to save these 2 configurations in the app, or some alternate setup, that makes it easy to switch between the two?  Having to reassign the products to different “rooms” each time you want to switch between the line-in media and TV is quite cumbersome.

For starters, the soundbar itself sounds good. That was the main reason I went for this soundbar, the sound quality has high reviews. I was able to listen to one in person before purchasing it and it sounded good to me.I got home and set it up and was extremely confused after plugging in power and signal and didn't have a working speaker like i've done for the last 30 years of my life. I had to make a sonos account, install an app and enable bluetooth, location, and microphone access to this app, and I needed to connect the beam to my wifi. All just to use a hardwired speaker that has a direct signal being fed to it via the optical to hdmi adapter that was included. Why is all this necessary just to use the speaker with a hardwired signal? I can use a smart tv without ever connecting it to the internet, just give it a signal and it works. Can I disconnect the beam from my wifi? Can I remove the app on my phone and still have a working speaker? If the answer is no then i'm likely returni

Hello, guys!I am owner of a Beam Gen 2 for a month.I am fine with the quality of the sound of it. I didn’t expect so much, but I it’s fine for a soundbar costing 350 euro (purchased in on Black Friday for 350 euro). As I am fan of the bass, I wanted to purchase a sub for the Beam.Today I purchased Sub Gen 3, trying to fix the lack of signficant bass of the Beam :)I connected the devices and then……Tried to listen some music - terrible… The bass produced for the songs I played was toooooo powerful, while the sound quality was poor… The heights were so poor… I have pain in my ears now ….Tried any kind of settings but noting improved the sound quality. Then I tried fo check the quality of watching movies - OK, finally a good match, but I want to listen music with better quality and with heights… So, I will return back my Sub Gen 3 tomorrow, as I am not satisfied with it.In terms better music performance, do you expect that Sub Mini can produce better and clearer music sound? I forgot to say

I turn on the tv connected via hdmi to sonos beam 2 in dolby configuration with 2 ikea synphonisk. everything works perfectly but after about 15/20 minutes the audio stops for 20 seconds, after 20/30 minutes it fixes the problem again, then it doesn't do it again. the problem occurs with and without the ikea satellites connected, i tried to shut down the system, i updated the system to the latest version but the problem is always present.

I recently swapped the Beam in my lounge for an Arc and a Sub, moving the Beam to the smaller family room which, unbeknownst to my wife, was always my secret plan! The sound from the Arc + Sub is amazing - even my wife described it as ‘more soulful’.I have two Play 1 (S2 app compatible) that I am considering adding as surrounds but not sure with the layout of my lounge whether it is worth it.As you can see from the rough drawing, the TV is in the corner with Arc directly below it and Sub in position A. On movie nights all chairs are used, so I was thinking of placing surrounds in position B and C to try and cover all the room. Would that work? Any advice greatly appreciated.

I have an LG tv and a Sonos Beam in full surround sound config. This forces the TV to change the Sound Out menu to “HDMI ARC” When I change the Sound Out menu to “Internal TV Speaker” it immediately changes back to  “HDMI ARC” This is not good for watching TV at night. This means that the ARC signal is Sonos led. Is there a way for the ARC signal to be TV led?

I am looking to purchase the Sony 77" Class - A80CK Series - 4K UHD OLED TV along with the Sonos Amp with 2 Sonance (in ceiling) speakers and 1 subwoofer.  I’m planning to use the Sony OLED built in (into the TV screen) speakers as my front sound and use the in in ceiling speakers as my rear sound, enhanced by the subwoofer. My concern is whether or not I will have issues with sound using the Sony Speakers along with my Sonos/Sonance setup? Is it as simple as connecting all devices to the Sonos Amp and I shouldn’t have any issues? Thanks for your direction!

Is there any simple way to connect an Amazon Firestick to the Sonos Five? As far as I can tell, it’s not possible without a lot more kit because the Firestick only sends to bluetooth and has no line output. If I’ve got that wrong, please tell me...

My home theatre consists of Arc, Sub Gen 3, Sub Gen 2 and 2 Play 1s for the rear. Do I go with the Era 100s or the Era 300s to replace the Play 1s in the rear. Sound, not cost, is the prime concern.
