Hello everyone, and happy summer!I'm looking for support and help from experienced users!I'll try to be as brief as possible to focus on my biggest concern: I'd like to improve the audio experience by installing sound-absorbing panels!My biggest concern (and the questions I've been asking myself) is this: as you know, panels can usually be placed on the wall just above the TV, on the wall behind us, on the side walls, and on the ceiling!But since our Sonos systems are designed with audio that "reflects" and "bounces" off the side walls (like the ERA 300, the ARC) and on the ceiling for the Atmos effect, would it be incorrect to place these panels on the ceiling and side walls? I think the audio that should "bounce" off the walls and ceiling is "absorbed" by the panels, and therefore it would be a mistake to install them! Is this correct? Perhaps the only ones we can place are on the wall in front of us, right above the TV and soundbar?Thank you to anyone who will be so kind as to clari

So I have a arc ultra 2 era 100s and a mini sub as my living room set up. I just recently bought another mini sub and 2 era 300s. How do I connect all of them together to for one living room system using the 300s as the surrons and the 100s as a stero pair. Is this even possible. I can't seem to connet everything together.

When I play Apple Music through the Sonos iOS app using my Arc Ultra with Sub Gen 4 and Era 300 rears, playback is not gapless. On albums with seamless transitions between tracks, the Arc briefly cuts out during transitions — going completely silent until the next track starts. The music playback setting for the Era 300s are set to Full, and Spatial Audio is turned off. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas for a fix or workaround? Thanks in advance!

Grouped amps don't follow volume control with main amp

Can you play a samsung TV audio thru Sonace outdoor speakers wirelessly if using sonos AMP?  

My Sonos audio was skipping every few seconds so I reviewed all the blogs and tried to solve without success.  I went into the Samsung TV expert settings and solved the audio skipping by shutting off HDMI eArc Mode (see pic below).

Wanted to add another request to add the ability to use a pair of Sonos roams as surround speakers for Sonos beam gen 2 or any other bar.I think all Sonos owners who use this feature would be capable of enabling / disabling the feature manually without any software changes.I have seen suggested elsewhere that a good option could be the roams could enter surround mode when placed on charge if that is desired. 

Have a Beam + 2 x one SL acting as surround sound speakers + sub set up as 1 room connected to a Samsung TV via HDMI cable to ARC on TV & would like to add a further pair of one SL currently set up as additional room to the room containing the Beam etc. to enable all 6 speakers to be controlled by the TV remote - the TV remote currently only controls the volume on the Beam/surround/sub speakers Is it possible?

Hi Sonos family. Recently added gen3 sub to my collection. Running two subs now. Any advice on the best placement. Two either side of tv or horizontal? Any tweaking ideas to get the best sound possible? 

Hello, I was wondering i could get a little advice please.I previously had a Sonos playbar, set up with a optical cable that connected to an audio splitter box. On this box it has 3 hdmi inputs & 1 hdmi output. The PS5, media device & bluray player are the hdmi inputs - with the singular out put being a 4k epson projector. This set up has worked for me thus far with no issue with being able to change the hdmi’s whilst still having audio being sent to the playbar & associated sound surround. I must mention that the Optical cable is around 10-12m in length as its currently ran neatly around the room from place(soundbar) to place (projector).Now i have changed over to the Sonos Arc, I am a little perplexed as to how to proceed & would appreciate any advice available. Is there a way i can have the Sonos Arc connected to my already neatly ran optical cable & associated audio splitter box ? Am i best running a fresh HDMI cable from the Sonos Arc? But, if so - would i need

Hi Everyone,Firstly I appreciate all your time in helping me figure out my system!To start, I will list the gear I have in this setup:Sonos Play1 (two) for left and right speaker surround sound Sonos Beam Gen1 directly under my TV  Sonos Connect Gen2 which connects to a basic record player from a company called U-Turn Audio, it does have a built in preamp that is usually switched on to strengthen the signal otherwise the volume level is quite low when a record is playingFirst question is with regards to an ethernet connection: does anything need to be connected to ethernet? Historically I have had at least one component connected to ethernet but as I understand it that is not a requirement outside of having a stronger mesh between your Sonos components.Second question deals with the Sonos Connect Gen2: I recently moved apartments and everything has been working except for the Connect which is connected to my record player (via RCA cable). Hi,I have 5 pairs of sonos in ceiling/wall speakers connected to 5 sonos amps. What would be best configuration to create a surround experience in a room? Happy to add one or two sonos gen 3 subs to the system and add one or two sonos fives if that helps achieving high quality 3D spatial audio. I would like to not add a soundbar if possible.Could I even use more than two pairs of in-ceiling/in-wall speakers in one room as a surround setup? I have read entries about 4.1 or 4.2 setups by using a pair of sonos in-walls as front left and right and another pair as surround left and right -- utilizing only two pairs in one room. If I can use more than two pairs, could I add 3 pairs as front left and right and 2 pairs as surround left and right? Is Sonos planning to support a richer surround configuration experience? Is their lack of support a product/marketing strategy to prioritize selling their sonos eras and soundbars or is there a technical challenge they are not able to pass with the cu

Good morning everyone, I am writing from Italy, Rome.It is a pleasure to read your comments, I have noticed many experts in the community!I would like some advice: I have a complete Sonos system with all the latest updates, but since I am changing the furniture I have a doubt about the positioning of the Sonos Arc. What is the recommended/correct height from the floor? Currently it is 53.5 cm from the floor, but with the new furniture I would reach 57.5 cm from the floor, but I can change the dimensions of the new furniture (I still have time to do so because it is in progress!).Thank you very much for the precious advice...Greetings to all.

Hello,I'm recently bought a pair of Era 100 and I added these as a surround speakers for my Ray with a Sub mini but I don't have the stands for the speakers but in a weeks I'm going moving to another house and there I can pit the speakers on the wall but while I want to use the surround speakers in front at the same height of the soundbar and using the reflections of the lateral walls can listen like there are closely back or minimum more spaciality, my room is almost a square it's 3.75m high and 3.95m wide (12.3ft x 13ft) and my soundbar is like in 20cm in front the wall so is remaining only 3.55m and my spot of listening is 1.5m of the soundbar, can any give me some solutions or tips for this, and configurations in the app? PD: Sorry if my English isn't the best I'm Mexican and I don't speak English natively :)

Should we expect to get an update for Sonos Era 300’s where we can control volume of each rear surround speaker (left and right) individually? I have Sonos Arc connected to my Sonos Era 300’s. I really want this feature in Sonos app where i can control volume of each rear individually.

My Sonos entertainment system (Ultra Arc, Gen 4, ERA300) is making intermittent beeps. What could be causing that?

 My contractor thew out the parts that fit nicely into the back of the Sonos original soundbar and I can’t find the replacements anywhere!  Thanks!

I suppose my refurbished arc bought on sonos shop might be defective as I completely can’t hear the atmos power. I performed the Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 check via Dolby app on xbox and there is no difference between channels e.g. top rear surround and top front surround . Every channel produces sound from front. nothing on top/behind… and of course I performed Trueplay optimization  

Does anyone know if I can modify a Gen 2 Beam to run on a regulated 12v Supply? I totally understand warranty and safety issues. 

Hey Community, I’m hoping you can help me figure out a solution to a problem I’m having getting any audio at all to come through my SONOS home theater system when I switch over to use one of our gaming systems. I have a home theater system in place that includes as Arc, two Play Ones as surrounds and a Gen 4 sub. That is all connected to my Epson LS12000 projector and I use an AppleTV 4K for streaming. That all works great. However, when I manually unplug the AppleTV from the projector and plug in a gaming system instead, I’m able to get the picture but no sound. I have no clue why. I’ve read pretty well every thread I can find that approaches this area, but haven’t found an exact match or developed a better understanding of the context of the situation. If anyone can help explain it to me, I’d be very appreciative of that!

Hi, not sure if this has been asked before but I wanted to check on placement for surrounds.We have our couches to the left and right of the TV a few feet away. We dont have a couch facing the TV directly. I have room behind the couch to the right to place surrounds on a stand. Would this work or will I not get that immersiveness as I'm not directly in front of the TV?
