Hi @solemgar

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

It sounds like a good idea to me, though there may be hardware restrictions preventing us from doing so (I don’t know if that’s the case, to be clear).

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request, and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!

Much appreciated Corry! As far as I understood, this is supported for Iphone only, not for Android so far.

The version you speak of for the iPhone, and not Android, isn’t ’quick tune TruePlay’ but the normal TruePlay. Two different things.

Hi @solemgar

@Airgetlam has it right - the Quick TruePlay Tuning method only uses the microphones built into the speaker, not the Android or iOS controller. For Beam (Gen 2) to support Quick TruePlay, I presume it needs a different arrangement of microphones, or perhaps more of them, or we likely would have already enabled the feature on that model. To be clear, I don’t know if this is the reason or not, but it seems likely to me.

I shall pass your feature request on, regardless.

I hope this helps.
