Hey… I was looking for another headphone stand for my new Sonos Ace. The one I already have is occupied by my Dali IO4 headphones. That stand is a „just mobile“ one and I really like it for the Dali, but for Ace… hmm… never thought a stand could look such different with other headphones. So I started to look around on the net and after two hours I was completely gaga. 😂There‘s a lot of low budget plastic to be found or some really expensive overkill stuff. After all I was happy to find a stand at our local second hand market (in Germany we call it „Flohmarkt“) for 10€ that was like new. With Google lens I found out it probably came from AliExpress and is 25€ new. Full of metal with a silikon top and really well crafted. So I‘m curious what you think about storing Ace and how your solutions look like. 😎I‘m starting with some photos showing Ace on the two stands I mentioned above.
If two are watching the same TV show….. One with the Sonos Ace one listening on Sonos Arc/sub and rear speakers…… does the ace cut out the sound so the person without the headphones cannot hear or control the sound in the traditional way?
HAVE I JUMPED THE GUN???????? I just received my Ace headphones which I have been waiting for for 4 years!! One feature I bought them on the back of was the fact that you can pick up from the soundbar. I have been trying to do it for hours and just seen it only works with Arc? Is this true anyone know? I am returning if this is the case Thanks for any answers / help in advance
I bought the twin pack of ace so my wife and I could watch a movie together without disturbing the house. Not supported. If you have this use case you don’t need two pair.
When playing Dolby Atmos content on my Sonos Ace Headphones, am I supposed to see the Dolby Atmos Badge in the Sonos App? I have tried playing Dolby Atmos content from my Arc using TV swap as well as directly from my iPhone (with the Dolby Atmos setting both at automatic and always on), but I never see the Dolby Atmos badge present in the app when using the Ace headphones. When playing the same content on the Arc, I do get the Atmos badge. Is this how it is supposed to function or is something setup incorrectly? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Hello everyone,A few months ago, I bought a Sonos Amp for my home hi-fi audio system. I connected it to a turntable and a preamplifier, and everything works quite well. Recently, I decided to purchase a Sonos Ace headphones, thinking that since they are from the same brand, they would seamlessly connect and allow audio output via Bluetooth to the headphones. To my surprise, despite being from the same brand, this connection isn't possible, which I find quite astonishing.Additionally, I tried connecting the headphones to my PS5, but that wasn't possible either, which was somewhat expected since they are not from the same brand. However, what really surprises me is that I can't connect them to the Amp. So now I have a $500 headset that I can basically only use to listen to music and sound from my phone, haha. With that said, I'd like to ask the community if there are any updates planned that would allow the Sonos Ace headphones to connect to the Amp, or if this is something that will neve
Intrigued by this Sonos tie-up with Polspotten, the Dutch home accessories company. There is an interesting Ace headphones stand to start with (although clicking on it doesn’t seem to lead anywhere currently). Could be a one-off but I wonder if it will lead to more - Sonos’ Insta seems to allude to it perhaps…https://www.polspotten.com/en/fr/home/
Should the Ace, show across all my controllers on different devices once setup ? As the ace would not set up on my app on my one plus andriod phone i used my daughters iphone to set up and the device, on that phone in the controller app the Ace shows, It works on my Andriod device but will not show in the controller app so I can use equalizer etc It doesnt show on the desktop either
Hola, hace una semana recibí mis Sonos Ace, el audio es genial, pero, hoy al usarlos me percaté que comenzó a sonar chillidos repentinos,¿será algún problema de software? Son prácticamente nuevos y solo los hice cargar 2 veces. Moderator Note - Translation by Google:Hello, a week ago I received my Sonos Ace, the audio is great, but today when using them I noticed that they started making sudden screeching noises, could it be some software problem? They are practically new and I only had them charged twice.
Can I connect a Sonos Ace to a Bluetooth Dac, like the iFi Zen Blue 3? If so, does it need to be a wired connection or can it be a bluetooth connection? Is there any real benefit?
I purchased a Sonos Ace and Beam Gen 2. I set up my Beam Gen 2 with my surrounds (One SL and Sub Gen 1). I then set up the Sonos Ace. I then tried to use the TV Swap functionality and I was able to add the beam as a soundbar. The issue is when I actually try to swap, nothing happens and then there is a beep and the swap fails. The Beam is using Wifi. Additionally, if I then try to remove the beam as a tv swap device, it gives me an error. I am using an android device. I have ensured that all software/firmware is up to date. I have tried completely factory resetting ALL devices. I have also tried to just set up the Beam and Arc (no surrounds or sub), and nothing has worked. I would appreciate any help. Additionally, I have tried to take the advice of other posts here (turning off bluetooth and the speakers and then restarting the app, then turning them back on). So far nothing has worked. Also if it helps, im using a Google Pixel Fold on android 14
The Sonos Ace is an exceptional set of Headphones. They’re very comfortable and perform in every way Sonos designed them to.I’ve used/tested every feature that is listed on the Sonos Ace landing page at Sonos.com; including making and receiving phone calls. The music and cinematic experience is top notch either through a compatible Sonos soundbar (Arc, Beam, Beam 2, Ray) or Bluetooth using your device to listen to music.Quite a few people expected them to act like a Sonos speaker and work over WiFi. I’m OK with the fact that they don’t. Frankly, I expected the theater experience using Audio Swap with a Sonos soundbar to be the path taken. Just call me Psychic 😊 I also like the fact that you can set the Ace to use multiple soundbars and select the one you want to use afterwards. I use them with Arc x 3 and Beam2 depending upon the room I’m in. The Ace works with my iPhone, iPad and Android tablet. Can the Ace be improved? Yes. However, for Sonos’ first generation headset there’s very l
Hello,I travel quite a bit. I use Anker a couple of small Anker travel chargers (67W and 100W). I noticed over USB C they do not charge the SONOS Ace headphones. These chargers charger everything else (PCs, Tablets, iPhones, MacBooks, etc). I know they work with PD based on other devices that work fine with PD. For some odd reason they do not charge my Sonos Ace headphones over USB C. The USB A charges fine, yet slow.I’ve tried different cables and chargers. Hard reset the SONOS Ace Updated to latest software on the AceIs anyone else experiencing this issue? Is SONOS aware and going to do something? thanks.
My headphones will not longer charge or turn on. It hasn't even been a week. Is there something I can do or am I totally screwed
My wife and I sometimes like to watch TV together after our son has gone to bed, but having the volume on makes too much noise in the house. Can we both wear our own Ace headsets and connect to TV audio via Arc at the same time?
Hi Sonos Moderators,I'm writing as a happy owner of several Sonos products. I recently purchased the Sonos Ace headphones and I'm loving them so far!I was wondering if there are plans to integrate the Ace headphones with the Sonos Control function on the macOS app. If this feature is already available, could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your help!
I have a Beam Gen 1 and considering purchasing Sonos Ace headphones. Following the recent software update, will the TV audio swap work with my Beam?
Trying to understand if it’s possible to play hi-res audio on Sonos Ace. Seems like bluetooth is a no-go, but I was hoping that the USB-C to USB-C connectivity would support it. However when I connect them to my Mac and open Audio Midi Setup, the Sonos Ace audio device only reports 16bit and 48kHz, and I can’t select any other option. Not sure if there is any limitation on MacOS here, and if it’s possible to use higher sampling or depth on other devices. Anyone had any success with this? The 3,5mm to USB-C adapter it’s a different mystery. From what I can understand this is a ADC adapter, and not an analoge passthrough cable using USB-C’s Audio Accessory Mode. So even if I use a DAC from the computer that supports hi-res, the signal is anyway converted back to digital using the adapter cable, and then probably ending up using the same DAC that is used for USB-C to USB-C. There is so many conversions going on in this signal path it feels like a bit of a stretch to even call it lossless (
Moderator edit:Google Translate-Is it normal to not be able to listen to my audio services or my music library with my new Sonos Ace headphones?!!! I'm buying a Sonos headset to be able to use it in the same way as my speakers and my entire system, not just to be able to connect it like a common Bluetooth device... disappointed, I hope that will change, that it doesn't Is it just an application problem, because the headset is good otherwise?
One item that I really appreciated with my Bose QuietComfort Headsets is auto power off.. I had it set for 2 or 3 hours so that if I take my headset off on my desk, forget to power it off - it wont be on all night and then its dead (or close to dead) in the AM.Bose had figured out how to detect that there were no sound or activity coming from the connected device, and would power off automatically.. If I was actually using the head phones for 2 or 3 hours straight - it wouldnt automatically turn off.Really miss that feature and could have used it earlier this week.
Should I be able to connect those two and swap from Beam to Ace?When I try to configure Ace to play TV sound from Beam it says that no compatible Sonos soundbar is detected. And both are on turned on and visible in the app.
Is it possible to have audio on my arc speaker and ace headphones at the same time?
Ace… needs to be able to connect to Any home theater receiver. Make a difference in our lives and make a Bluetooth transmitter device that plugs into receiver headphone jack. Stop being overly competitive. Not a good look.
Why is there no option to use the Sonos ace audio swap on android? This doesn't require any calibration or microphone. Why have you not added this to the app yet and more importantly when will you?The headset is great, but you have serious software issues.
I’ve had my Sonos Ace headphones since launch (although these are actually my *second* ones, as the first were replaced due to the right-ear buzz problem many people suffered), and can’t get them to *reliably* connect to my LG C3 OLED 4K TV.No problem at all with connecting to my iPhone, but endless issues with the TV connection.Initial connection after a factory reset will be fine - usually - but if I then try and connect again later on, they completely refuse to do so. It looks like they’re trying to and then give up.I have tried unpairing and repairing, multipoint on, multipoint off, factory reset (of the Ace)...
