When I wear my headphones, the audio becomes distorted, and when I remove them, the sound returns to normal. Does anyone know the reason behind this issue? I have the equalization settings set to default.
Hi Sonos community,I'm a big fan of the Sonos Ace headphones, and I use them almost every day. However I was frustrated to discover that they aren't compatible with the "Find My Device" feature on Android.I think it would be a fantastic addition to the Sonos Ace headphones if they could be integrated with the "Find My Device" network. This would make it much easier to locate them if they are ever misplaced or stolen.I know that some other headphone brands, like Sony and JBL, are already planning to make their headphones compatible with this feature, and I hope that Sonos will consider doing the same for the Ace.I believe this would be a valuable feature for many Sonos Ace users and would further enhance the overall user experience. Thanks for considering my request!
Hi I bought the headphones in the UAE and not only is the volume too low (especially on an airplane) but the case is truly awful and a dust trap. Are Sonos replacing the cases with something more sleek and durable?
Does Sonos have the idea to release earbuds ?
After a few weeks of dealing with audio delay reaching upwards of 500ms, two nights ago my Sonos Ace suddenly decided they weren’t going to swap audio from the Ray soundbar any longer.I’ve tried power cycle, disconnect swap, reconnect swap, and factory reset. This is the most disappointing product I’ve ever purchased at this price point. These are supposed to be premium headphones and they can barely function.I will be seeking a refund for these headphones and will have to choose something else. This is incredibly disappointing. I have enjoyed Sonos speakers for many years. I can’t believe how poorly these perform under their intended use cases.
Aloha to everyone, Short version: I'm still very happy with the Sonos Ace. Sound is good to very good, very comfortable, finally physical buttons again, for me as a “children in the house” person with a small apartment, the TV Swap feature is a revelation (for movies/series and - in reviews never mentioned - gaming). Killer feature! BUT: in TV Swap I keep experiencing slight mini dropouts in the sound or distortions (it feels like every 30-60 seconds). Can anyone confirm this? Could these be hardware problems, or will they be eliminated via updates?
I would love to see this feature and it would be what would make me buy a pair of Sonos Aces to replace my current headphones. Use case: I work from home in the same room with my significant other (SO). We both listen to music on our Sonos speakers all day while working. However, at some point my SO starts taking calls for a while. During this time, she still wants the music playing in the room, but I need to have headphones on to block out the sound of the phone calls. So I put on my headphones, pair to Bluetooth, and have to open a second music streaming service to play music in my headphones while leaving the Sonos system playing music for her. This is annoying on a day to day basis. I would LOVE to be able to just slip on the Aces and pick right up with listening to the same music in the room and not have to get on my phone and start up a second service, etc. Honestly, this is the only use case I can imagine getting the Aces for given I have my Sony MX4s.
Is there a difference in audio quality between the beam and arc using audio swap with sonos ace
My Airpods Max can pause and resume video content I’m watching when I press the digital crown or take them off.I expected this to work with the Sonos Ace using TV audio swap as well, but it doesn’t. As far as I know, HDMI-CEC supports play / pause operations, so the headphones could tell the soundbar to tell the TV to play / pause. Is this feature infeasible for some reason, or is this something that could be supported in the future?
My Sonos ace are giving me problems with cracking static sounding noises not only at high volume but low volume but when I open up the Sonos app it like it stops completely just wondering if i should trade my pair In
Does the Sonos Ace support Dolby Atmos and spatial audio when using the TV audio swap through Beam gen 1?
J'ai réussi à coupler ma barre arc et mon casque ace pour ecouter la tv. Mais comment faire pour écouter de la musique via sonos?
Hello fellow Sonos Ace owners,I have had Ace headphones for a few days now and after a history with devices such as Bose Quietcomfort Ultra, Sennheiser Momentum 4 or Sony WH-1000XM5, I find Ace to be the most comfortable in everyday use. Unfortunately, when wearing them, a certain problem occurs that did not manifest itself in the case of other headphones. Namely, when I turn my head relatively dynamically to the right, the sound of the song being played disappears for a fraction of a second. It happens the same way when I press the center of the right or left earphone with my index finger in such a way that the ear pads are bent. The sound also disappears for a short moment. Are you able to reproduce such behavior on your devices or is it perhaps a defect of my copy, or is it perhaps normal behavior that I have not encountered in the case of other headphones? I've read about the pressure equalization system in the earpiece that Sonos has implemented, but is that how it's supposed to w
I’m returning g my Ace’s because of my increasing disappointment with Sonos, due to their lack a care for the customers and serious fall in quality. Now since the last update the hard reset in the ace no longer works. I’ve done the process multiple times as I let other Sonos users test them. Now, nothing. The light just stays orange. I guess this is just par for the course. The consensus from myself and those that tested them is “meh”. Muddy veiled sound, gimmicks that don’t justify the price, no amp support for tv swap, underwhelming and seemingly directional noise cancellation… seemingly good build quality. I used to be a huge Sonos fan boy. RIP Sonos.
Hi,i received my Ace yesterday and during my test when switching from Arc to Ace i noticed an audio/lip sync issue. Am I the only one?
Hello,I'm thinking about buying the Sonos ACE. In advance I want to clarify one thing - when I use the TV Audio Swap is it still possible to use the soundbar as well or is the sound only on the headphones?I find the ambient noise annoying when I watch a film, but my roommates also want to watch the film. But it wouldn't make sense if they couldn't hear anything.Thank you.
Testing out the Noise Control settings on Sonos Ace on Android/Pixel 7 and noticed with Noise Cancelling or Aware Mode the audio is high quality and full as expected, but switching Noise Control to Off drops the audio quality. It sounds like it changes to mono or at least the treble and bass drop out and soundstage is narrowed. Is this a known issue? Cannot find any other threads about it. Both the Ace headset and app are updated to latest version today.
When using the swapping function for Sonos Ace to Sonos Arc, the audio defaults to TV, even when listening to music. Should I hear what is currently playing on my Arc?
I have poor hearing in left ear, can i boost using balance
I love my ace headphones, but I was wondering if there was a way to tell the percentage of volume that you are at with the headphone. When I control the volume with the slider switch on the headphones is there someplace where I can see if I am at 80% or 40% volume. it would be nice if You could control the volume on the AC headphones the Sonos voice app like you can with the arc sound bar.
No matter what I do the volume on the Ace is underwhelming. I just want the ability to turn it up a little louder when listening to movies or music. This seems to be consistent with any device played through them.
Hi,I just got the new Sonos ACE.I connected them to my SGS23 to hear loosless audio but the volume is to low.On my laptop the volume is great using the same cable.I believe the issue is with the drivers. How to solve it?
why cant i hear music from the sonos app in my sonos ace ? its only possible for me to listen to spotify
I have had a Beam for several years, I don't know how to tell which generation it is, and I just bought an Ace. I want to transfer the sound from the Beam to the Ace headphones, but I get a message that a compatible device cannot be found. The Beam works and is connected to WiFi
Hi All -My new Ace headphones have gone through the updating on installation and seem to connect to Bluetooth devices but don’t show in the app and are not found when searched for as a new device. This is the same in the Android and Mac apps.Any ideas please? Thanks,Ian.
