Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Before I get into how SLOW it is, let’s talk about the interface - TERRIBLE.  Alarm - missing.  Search - terrible.play list maintenance- missingi completely regret adding multiple SONOs devices to my home. hey SONOS -  get your act together and FIX IT!

I have a first generation Beam. Can I use either 2 Play 1 speakers with the Beam or 2 Sonos one speakers? I presume that I cannot mix them. 

I’m not technical but I had the ability to use my turntable and CD player through Sonos Gold. It changed to Black and no longer have these items in my menu? Will they be reinstated. I have specific Sonos equipment to achieve this connectrivity which now do nothing? Thanks

I have setup a surround with Arc, Sub, and a pair of Play:1.    This is connected to the TV via HDMI to the TV eARC HDMI port.   The TV is a LG Nano99 65 inch 8K NanoCell TV (Model: 65NANO996NA.AEK) My problem is that the rear pair of Play:1 does not have sound come out when playing movie from Netflix or from my own movies from Plex.   The rear pair of Play:1 has sound when playing music from Spotify playlist “SONOS Dolby Atmos”. This works intermittently.   It has been working for some length of time when the surround was first setup last week.   Then, the rear pair of Play:1 is turned off and on (because I need to place them on stands).   Then, I have this struggle thar the read Play:1 plays no sound from Netflix nor from Plex.   I have tried power cycled everything.   Tried removing the surround and re-created the surround.   This has been done several times.  Of course I have tried playing music on individual Arc+Sub, each Play:1 and also both Play:1 as stereo pair.   All are done

I have a sonos system at home and at office. If in the morning i play music at home and then travel to office, my office sonos system cannot be found on wifi network. BUT just below the error message it says a sonos system has been diecovered on the same wifi network as the one it cound not find and displayed an error message.  once i re-engage the network, all is fine—that is, until i come back to the office where issue repeats.  after leaving office, i have same issue on home sonos system   There are greater injustices in the world but anyone know how to resolve. Btw both systems are current on software updates.

This is has been happening since the big software ‘update’.  Songs in playlists from hard drive will randomly skip. If you go back in the playlist you can force it to play.  It also started with the update to skip some songs consistently after playing a couple of beats. Then the same songs in a different playlist plays just fine.  The songs at 320k mp3 44.1. The network is solid and fast.  Anyone else had this problem? This update has taken what was a solid system to something less than reliable.  Any help appreciated. 

One item that I really appreciated with my Bose QuietComfort Headsets is auto power off.. I had it set for 2 or 3 hours so that if I take my headset off on my desk, forget to power it off - it wont be on all night and then its dead (or close to dead) in the AM.Bose had figured out how to detect that there were no sound or activity coming from the connected device, and would power off automatically.. If I was actually using the head phones for 2 or 3 hours straight - it wouldnt automatically turn off.Really miss that feature and could have used it earlier this week.

If you have an album that has one ALBUM artist, but various individual artists as part of it (say, a soundtrack), you see the album listed repeatedly for each SONG artist vs the ALBUM artist. Also related to this, the app seems to have an upper limit for number of albums it will show in a list, so, for example, my soundtrack album list tops out in the B's, with no way to keep scrolling for more albums. 

Hi,Is there any update on software fix for the 913 error on macs?  I tried the workaround, which didn’t work.  And when I tried the guest option, it said it loaded my music but everything was blank.  Anyone have this problem and found another workaround?

I saw some posts that relate to this problem, but no solution.  I have an older Sonos system and use the S1 controller.  I used to be able to stream podcasts through iHeartRadio and TuneIn Radio music services, but recently I started getting an “unable to connect/connection lost” error.  I can still stream music through those services, but not podcasts.  I also tried adding the Pocketcasts service, but that didn’t work, either.  Is there a solution?  Also, casting from those apps directly to my Play 5 speaker is not an option - for some reason the speaker isn’t recognized on the network.  Can anyone help??

I can no longer select specific speakers to play specific music. Instead, each speaker plays something that was cued up days earlier and won’t shut off! My four speakers are now worthless. Anyone else have this problem? Were you able to fix it.The new app needs to be retracted and the old app reinstated.

Hi, I am planning to but a ARC S19 system as I found a good price for it. I know it is the older version but my question is, will I be able to connect it to other speakers / Sub in the future? does it support it? 

Today...for the first time after spending months trying to follow confusing and incorrect ‘support’ via the community after the app update basically bricked my system...after calling...chatting...with others...I got Dana...finally (after spending 1.5 hours on the phone) got my system operational! I want to thank them for their unbelievably patient and personable support!I have asked them to screen shot what we did.  In real terms all of us could do this ourselves...if we had clear guidance.  Not words and links but images and steps.The full library integration is still not there...but that I can wait for.  Not being able to listen to my music for months...was unacceptable.It is a lovely sunny day here made even better with the excellent support provided today by Dana!!Just call them...and they will screen share...and they will sort it out...or at least Dana will ;)

Can someone please explain why I'm unable to use my sonos system to play music from my phone as it says I need a system update but when I try to update it gives me the error 1000 which apparently has no resolution. I've reloaded the app multiple times on my Samsung S24. However when anyone with an iPhone tries to play music through my system it works no problem. It just stopped woeking for me about a month ago and I can't get it to work again please help.

Music starts, confirm the queue by expanding the device from the bottom screen, view the queue list from the bottom left list icon. Queue shows the playing song. Return to the library and browse to a 2nd song (or album). Select "Add to End of Queue" or "Play Next". Dialog pops up with "Added to Queue". Expand Device from the bottom again and select the Queue list from the bottom left. The Queue list shows "Unable to load. Please try again".No matter how many times you 'try again' the queue is not displayed. The music plays on and even the newly adding song(s) will play. There is no way to get the queue to show up (and no way to clear the queue on Android), adding new songs doesn't do it, selecting a song to "Play Now" doesn't do it. Should I be able to connect those two and swap from Beam to Ace?When I try to configure Ace to play TV sound from Beam it says that no compatible Sonos soundbar is detected. And both are on turned on and visible in the app.

Amongst all the broader issues of stability and missing features, the rounded corners give away how rushed this app update was. While the padding/radius for the search bar within the top card looks okay… The radius for the outer corner of search and now playing cards don’t match. This sort of thing, across the app, makes everything feel even jankier. Or is it just me?  

Is it possible to have audio on my arc speaker and ace headphones at the same time?
