Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I’m not able to install Sonos S2 App on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. All other apps are installing smoothly as normal.I’ve followed all available procedures on both from Sonos and Play Shop and ofc all the basics.Have called Sonos but they were not able to helpAny suggestions? BRKlaus

Hi, I have a problem. 7 months ago I bought speaker lamp from ikea. I used it quite a lot, and I didn't have problems. 3monts ago we upgraded to new network and I didn't use sonos lamp since.Today, I try to log in but it keeps telling me something, so I was sacred. I deleted the app and I think I created new account. I factory reseted it.But it keeps telling me the password of my internet isn't correct. I watched tutorials where it is plugged into the router but mine is in the wall ( english is not my first language sorry)If you know anything it would help

Under the Albums tab, some albums contain all of the songs in the album and for other albums all songs are displayed as separate albums.  

After latest update my surround speakers have semi disappeared by which I mean they don’t work (but I can still start/stop playback and change volume on the beam using the physical units). The beam shows no surrounds in app but they do show as surrounds under Sonos system info.  I also can no longer find the settings for managing what the surrounds should do when it’s not surround sound supported audio. Wanted to check that wasn’t a problem.I genuinely can’t believe updates are still causing problems. What are they spending all these millions on?!I can just about remember when using Sonos was a joy but the memory is fading. Anyone got any suggestions? (Please don’t suggest calling support that isn’t helpful). 

I have music in my iPhone library. How can i listen to it in my sonos speakers since I don’t have a subscription?

Hi all,I currently own a Sonos Play 5, Sub, Sonos One, Move, and Beam.  I just purchased a house that has a built-in system consisting of a Denon AVR-X3700H, Onkyo 2-channel Amplifier (M282), and a Nikes Speaker selector (SSVC4).  This equipment is powering a total of 9 speakers (7 indoor, 2 outdoor).  I would like to integrate my Sonos with this system to provide additional sound to the house.  What is the best route to do this, and how?  It looks like I will need to purchase a Sonos Port, but I’m not completely sure.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi The issue has gotten worse over the past few months, and not sure if all the updates with the Sonos App has hurt it. Now Spotify is integrated into the system, I would think it would be more seamless. When an ad comes up, or sometimes just randomly, playback will get stuck and stop. And there’s like no way to get it back, I can’t get it to play anything on Spotify anymore. I have to start playing something else just to get it unstuck. Anyway, playing Spotify almost isn’t worth it for how often it’s happening now. Please help, 

I just moved and changed internet to verizon gateway. I get all the way thru to where speaker wants to connect and when I type in password it keeps saying it can't connect. Password is correct. Please help, super frustrated

I have old rectangular in ceiling speakers that connect to a sonos amp.  I want to replace the speakers and not have to do too much patch work.  Can I use the in wall rectangular speakers in the ceiling?

Dear SONOS Enthusiasts,I plan to purchase and install SONOS equipment to create a surround sound home theater in my living room, which measures 16x24 ft (please see the attached layout). Given the Samsung OneConnect HDMI ARC already wired to the SONOS Amplifier, I have two specific questions:Can I connect the SONOS Sound Bar to the TV via HDMI, as shown in the attached figure? Can the SONOS SUB connect to the amplifier wirelessly over Wi-Fi?If the answers to both questions are yes, will I be able to create a surround sound system with both wired and wireless connections?Thank you for your assistance!Best,CJ

We would to know how can we optimize the network (using igmp snooping, create subnet for each house or each zone, enable multicast routing on router).Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I have Arc connected to a Sony TV and two Sub (gen 3s).  The Arc and the Subs are on the same wall as the TV.  The Arc in the center, below the TV and the 2 Subs left and right of the Arc (about 6’ left and right of the Arc.   Once in a while I hear what sounds like a low frequency thump or two (kind of like distant fireworks).  I don’t recall this until I added the 2nd Sub.  Thoughts?

Hi. I have a system with multiple Era 100s, and a new Beam (gen2). I have the Beam in a group with the other speakers for music, and when I watch TV it disconnects from the group to work standalone as a soundbar.Is there a way for the Beam to automatically reconnect to the group so I don't have to manually re-add it every time I've watched TV? Thanks!

After having to throw away all of my Sonos 1 equipment, thank you very much, I was stupid enough to buy another Sonos system because I couldn’t find any competitor.  It started out mediocre, at best, but then the update from hell happened.  It still takes two or three tries to connect, constantly losing connection, etc.  Is there any remedy in sight, or should I just chuck the whole thing again and go back to transiters and a coat hanger?

Hello, Seeking advice from the experts here.  I recently moved the following to a new location and reset and set everything up as a new Sonos system.3x Play:1 1x SonosOne 1x Sonos RayUnfortunately, the move coincided with the issues Sonos started to have with the new app and this has left me mostly confused.  The problems:The system tends to go offline from time to time.  One Sonos (Android) app, the entire system will disappear. Sometimes, some speakers will go offline and not show up in the app. Speakers sometimes don’t show up in Spotify Speakers play a track for a few seconds and then skips to the next - can happen for a few songs before things settle down.I suspected a weak network signal that might be causing it so I had my wireless router (issued by my local ISP) relocated to a “central location”.  This did not improve the situation.  Before the system was moved

Hello Community, I am renovating my house and am planning to have a TV in 2 rooms that have in ceiling speaker, which are connected to a Sonos AMP. Those AMPs are in the utility room that is about 40 feet away.I want to make sure that I can connect the TVs to the AMPs for sound output. I am using a Mac Mini as my storage site for my music.  I am finally able to load my music library to the Sonos system.  But the imported playlist did not import.  What am I missing when I manage the system?

I am getting very frustrated with Sonos products.  I have a home theater with Sonos Arc, two Sonos One SL’s and a Sub.  The Sub and Surround speakers only work properly when I hard wire the sub to my network switch even though it says wireless enabled.  Once I disconnect the ethernet cable the sub and surround speakers stop working.  I have all Aruba Airgroup Services turned on. Any recommendations?  I have reset and started over over 12 times. I have powered off and powered on everything including the router.

A lot of the time when i turn on the ace it does not show up in the sonos app. So it would be nice to have a feature, like on sony headphones, where a short press of the power button when the headphones are on, provides verbal report on the battery level. "90% Battery Remaining" etc.
