Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have Arc connected to a Sony TV and two Sub (gen 3s).  The Arc and the Subs are on the same wall as the TV.  The Arc in the center, below the TV and the 2 Subs left and right of the Arc (about 6’ left and right of the Arc.   Once in a while I hear what sounds like a low frequency thump or two (kind of like distant fireworks).  I don’t recall this until I added the 2nd Sub.  Thoughts?

Hi. I have a system with multiple Era 100s, and a new Beam (gen2). I have the Beam in a group with the other speakers for music, and when I watch TV it disconnects from the group to work standalone as a soundbar.Is there a way for the Beam to automatically reconnect to the group so I don't have to manually re-add it every time I've watched TV? Thanks!

After having to throw away all of my Sonos 1 equipment, thank you very much, I was stupid enough to buy another Sonos system because I couldn’t find any competitor.  It started out mediocre, at best, but then the update from hell happened.  It still takes two or three tries to connect, constantly losing connection, etc.  Is there any remedy in sight, or should I just chuck the whole thing again and go back to transiters and a coat hanger?

Hello, Seeking advice from the experts here.  I recently moved the following to a new location and reset and set everything up as a new Sonos system.3x Play:1 1x SonosOne 1x Sonos RayUnfortunately, the move coincided with the issues Sonos started to have with the new app and this has left me mostly confused.  The problems:The system tends to go offline from time to time.  One Sonos (Android) app, the entire system will disappear. Sometimes, some speakers will go offline and not show up in the app. Speakers sometimes don’t show up in Spotify Speakers play a track for a few seconds and then skips to the next - can happen for a few songs before things settle down.I suspected a weak network signal that might be causing it so I had my wireless router (issued by my local ISP) relocated to a “central location”.  This did not improve the situation.  Before the system was moved to this new location, it was part of my setup at home. Hello Community, I am renovating my house and am planning to have a TV in 2 rooms that have in ceiling speaker, which are connected to a Sonos AMP. Those AMPs are in the utility room that is about 40 feet away.I want to make sure that I can connect the TVs to the AMPs for sound output. I read in other threads that an optical fiber HDMI would be best.Questions:1. Can anyone recommend a good optical fiber eARC HDMI?I found those so far: Monoprice, RUIPROThose HDMI’s have 2 different ends, one is source one is display. In my case the TV can be the source and the display depending on how you look at it. Can someone please explain which one it is?Thank you all!

Has anyone heard from SONOS when they will be fixing the issue that is preventing us adding our locally stored music libraries (local / NAS drive) to the app.It is extreemly annoying not to be able to play my music without going through a PLEX account.

I am using a Mac Mini as my storage site for my music.  I am finally able to load my music library to the Sonos system.  But the imported playlist did not import.  What am I missing when I manage the system?

I am getting very frustrated with Sonos products.  I have a home theater with Sonos Arc, two Sonos One SL’s and a Sub.  The Sub and Surround speakers only work properly when I hard wire the sub to my network switch even though it says wireless enabled.  Once I disconnect the ethernet cable the sub and surround speakers stop working.  I have all Aruba Airgroup Services turned on. Any recommendations?  I have reset and started over over 12 times. I have powered off and powered on everything including the router.

A lot of the time when i turn on the ace it does not show up in the sonos app. So it would be nice to have a feature, like on sony headphones, where a short press of the power button when the headphones are on, provides verbal report on the battery level. "90% Battery Remaining" etc.

My sonos roam 1 failed to work and support sent me a new model as replacement.i was first glad to see that new device was a sonos roam 2, but I quickly switched to disappointment as for no reason (?) sonos roam 2 is unable to work with Google Assistant…I was not advised of this at any point… and this is a huge pain for me as all my Domotic devices work with GA. How will you fix this, please?cannot stay like this.

Mini Sub connectivity issue: I have a Arc and 2 Era 300s as surrounds in my living room. The mini sub was connected to this, I moved it to my bedroom and connected to a pair of Era 100s. After a few days I shifted it back to my living room but have not been able to connect to the Arc system. I am not new to Sonos, have used them for more than 10 years. Have tried every thing including resetting the Arc and Era300s, resetting the Wi-Fi, but nothing seems to work. The Arc and surrounds are working fine but the Sub is not connecting to the Arc. The app goes to try again twice and then says done, but no connection. Pl help me sort it out, very frustrating! 

Hi, I have an old Play:3 that I would like to use with my tv (Google TV). I’ve connected it to my phone and what not I just can’t figure out how to play sound from the tv. Ideally I would like to use Bluetooth but I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

I have 2 Sonos 1’s along with a Sonos Arc in my living room. I initially had them set up as surrounds. However, due to my hearing loss, I removed the surround set up so I could control them each individually. With them connected as surrounds or not, intermittently I get a crackling/scratchy noise mostly from the 1’s. Arc has done it also. My system is up to date. I’ve moved some of my Sonos 1’s from other rooms in our home, crackling continues even when swapping other speakers out. I attempted to Chat with Support today but Darius doesn’t understand the word “intermittent”. So, I abruptly ended the chat with no success. Any other troubleshooting suggestions? 

Hi all. Amongst numerous other issues I am experiencing, I am unable to mute individual zones independently ( I have 5 sonos amps) when using my sonos app on my android, but can do it when using my wifes Apple phone. Does anyone else have the same problem and does anyone have a solution? Thanks.PS  I have no intention of changing to an Apple phone as my dislike for that company is even greater than that which I currently have for Sonos!!!

Why is Sonos suddenly asking me every time to “ Sign in as owner to see Recently Played “?very annoying!

I bought a Beam 2 seven month ago, and the last couple of months the Beam is developing a tinny metalic sound in talking/voice sounds (playing music is still fine, but I think other frequencies are used there,  I am sure there is technical / scientific explanation for it). After a moving I’m installing my Sonos product in my new home. During the process to add my Sonos Connect to the Sonos system, I get the message “press the button whit the white blinking light”.I have pressed it many times, but the app answer me “we do not detect the pressure of the button” and the process halts. I have repeated it many times and I got always the same result: installation failure.  Any suggestion?
