Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I just swapped my arc for the arc ultra, but now can’t add any of the other speakers. When i look at the Sonos System info i see all the devices, however in the ‘Your system’ i can’t add them and no other devices are being found. How do i reset this??

Let's just call TrueCinema the Sonos version of vapor ware.If you want me to buy the Arc Ultra, first deliver on existing promises.

I am constantly unable to play back any FLAC files from my Plex server. However, I am able to play the same files if I go through my Media Library.However, with the recent beta earlier this year, I was able to have this playback functionality.The error message that I’m seeing in the error log is:Thursday, 9 May 2024 - 19:26 Atlantic TimeUnable to play '(Song Name Goes Here)' - the connection to Plex was lost.This error message repeats for any FLAC track that I try to play.I am able to play these files perfectly fine via the Plex application itself.

Hi everyone - currently I have a gen 2 beam and a sub mini. I’m thinking of buying a single sonos 5. My room is L shaped but all my living/listening is done at the ‘bottom’ of the L. I’m unsure about the best place to put the speakers. I’m guessing that maybe trueplay will adjust the Sonos system to a certain extent. I’ll try to send a photo of how things are presently… 

My iMac Apple Music will not connect to my Sonos speakers by Airplay. I repeatedly get ‘Could not connect to “Workroom”’ (where my paired stereo Era 100s are) and ‘Could not connect to “Living Room”’ (where my paired stereo Era 300s are). Another pop-up window says, ‘The AirPlay device “Workroom” cannot be selected for audio output. Please verify your network settings and AirPlay configuration or select another device.’ This was not the case before I updated the Mac Sonos app to the latest version (16.4.2, build 81158074). Previously to the update I could play Apple Music without a problem to both pairs of speakers. Obviously I have checked the network settings for both Mac and speakers. They are all on the same network. I have restarted the Mac and speakers. I have unplugged the speakers and restarted in factory default. Nothing seems to help. I can play Apple Music from my iPhone and iPad to the Sonos speakers via Airplay but not the iMac. The issue is only on the iMac. I can connect

Are there any plans to ever fix this issue with Mytuner or Tunedin radio. Alternatively can  you not add this to the Sonos Radio. This is very poor customer services that this has not been fixed. Regards,  

I have now had 3 Sonos Roam speakers, all carefully cared for, simply die and not take a charge.  I love the sound qualifty, but hate the product.  The single button and constant need to repair to blue tooth, etc., is very annoying.  They are pricey speakers for what they do and lasting only a couple of years with intermitent use is not acceptable.  I have never had this problem with a Bose portable - going back to Bose….I tried calling Sonos Customer support several times. Waited over 45 minutes each time without anyone picking up.I want to love Sonos, but you are making it very difficult.  Has anyone else had similar problems with the Roam or Sonos Customer servcie?  

I have a Playbase connected to my LG C1 TV via optical. I have a PS5 connected to the TV using HDMI. For a long time, I was able to reliably get Dolby digital 5.1 on the Playbase from the PS5. For the last couple of weeks, I'm only getting stereo PCM on the Playbase when using the PS5, at least when I look at what it says I’m getting on the Sonos App. I have not made any changes to the configuration as far as I can tell. The PS5 is set to prefer Dolby. The TV is set to passthrough the audio signal. Has anything changed in the Sonos software that would cause this to stop working? I'm still getting 5.1 on my Apple TV and through the TV zone smart apps, so it's not a global problem. It's PS5 specific. Does anyone else have a similar setup? If so, is this happening to you?

As the title says. Whenever I add an album that is on my Plex server to Sonos favourites it adds just the first track. Both Spotify and Tidal add the album correctly. I've tried a few different albums with the same result. Any thoughts? 

Hi, please help. I’m going round in circles and have been putting off reconnecting my Sonos device for 18 months! It’s now time to tackle this but the app keeps taking me round in circles.  I’ve got to the bit where the chatbot has told me to update the network in that named section but can’t find it.  help! 

If I connect a DAC vía cable to an era 300, but I have 2 era 300 , how do I play música on both?

I've created a YouTube music playlist that has all of my uploaded music. However, the sonos app on Android is only allowing a max of 500 songs in the queue. Or at least that's all it is showing.Is this issue being resolved?I wish they'd go back to playing from device as an option. I know, it was supposedly too much to keep up with security updates.

I have the sonos app downloaded and play 3 set up using ethernet cable(changed wifi network and lost speaker connection)I want to be able to use it with out a cable but when I plug it out I lose connection Tried updating network to add wifi but it's not finding the speaker Please advise

I have a system consisting of 7 Sonos speakers integrated with multiple Amazon devices including  multiple  Echo speakers. I am moving and will be using a new Google Fiber network.  What is the best way to migrate my system to the new Network?

Two part question and appreciate any help.  I recently upgraded my Synology NAS and my S1 speakers/software can no longer access the music library on this device. My S(2) has no issues. I’ve tried changing the settings of SMB1 protocol (minimum) and also enable NTLMv1 authentication. This has not worked. Are there any other settings I should be looking at to get this to work?Also, I was told I’d be contacted by Level 2 help about a week ago. No word yet. Does this ever happen or should I consider that they are done helping me with the issue?Thank you

I’ve recently been trialling Plex / Plexamp and thought I’d offer a short appraisal of how it can bring an enhanced experience to those of us with local music libraries.Plex can be added to Sonos as a service in the usual way. You can play your Plex music library through Sonos without paying for a Plex Pass subscription. This is basic functionality and offers an alternative way of playing your local files. It does require internet access as the files are being access through Plex’s servers, and your media server needs to be online. Some people do this to overcome the Sonos metadata constraint (typically referred to as the 65K track limit, even if that’s not 100% accurate).Plex Media Server can be installed on all sorts of hardware and operating systems. I am using a HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF PC. It uses too much power to be a long-term solution for 24x7 operation (it idles at around 50W), but perfect for testing. Hi I have just bought the Era1 100.  I bought it yesterday and my goodness I am going mad, it is disconnecting all the time  I have tried rebooting but it still does this.  I really like it when it actually plays, but it just drops and I have to keep rebooting and adding my internet password.  Its really frustrating - can anybody help please to get this working once and for all. 

I am at the end of my rope.  I have a projector that has one hardwired HDMI output. This was previously connected to an AV receiver that we attached a Roku to, which we used to watch things on the projector with sound coming out the speakers.Getting the Amp was supposed to render the receiver obsolete. I connected the Amp to the hardwired speakers, which works great to listen to music. However, I have not been able to figure out how to get the Roku signal out to the projector and the Amp. I bought an HDMI splitter that is supposed to be able to do this, connected the Roku to one input and the Amp and projector each to an output. However, this has not worked either.  What other options do I have to route the Roku audio to my Amp and video to the projector? 

I have 2 Sonos Play 3 speakers in my study which work perfectly using my PC. I also have a Sonos One in my kitchen. I can operate the latter without a problem from my PC but this is upstairs. When I try to operate it in the kitchen using the Sonos app on either my Samsung tablet or my wife’s iPad, only about a third of the Spotify playlists are disp[ayed.
