pairing my beam 2 to family phone

I’m trying to play music from my friends phone. 
but I can’t seems to connect his phone via Bluetooth .

i just got the Sonos beam 2

 

could it be that Beam cannot support Bluetooth devices ? 
 

What recommendation can I get do I can use Bluetooth connection

Beam 2 does not support Bluetooth. To support Bluetooth you’ll need one of the following speakers:

  • Roam
  • Roam 2
  • Move
  • Move 2
  • Era 100
  • Era 300
  • Arc Ultra

After Bluetooth is started on one of the above speakers you can extend the sound to other Sonos speakers via Grouping.

    Except for the Move, which doesn’t support sharing its Bluetooth connection, due to older interior electronics. One of the reasons there is a Move 2, I suspect.
