Hi guys

I’ve just treat myself to a new TV and the Arc Ultra. They are in my lounge which already has ceiling speakers with amp ruuning them. When I’ve set up the Arc, it connects to the TV fine and then i add the amp as the surrounds which works but then no sound comes out of the ceiling speakers. It’s the same when i try and play music or the TV. I’ve tried all sorts and also spoke with SONOS via live chat and they have advised me i need to change my WIFI to a mesh system. Is this the only way around this issue? I have a beam and amp with ceiling speakers in my Kitchen which works fine.

Can you confirm that you haven’t turned WiFi Off on any of your devices?


Is wifi on the Arc Ultra and the Amp turned on? Did you really ad the Amp as surrounds or did you (try to) group it with the Arc Ultra.


Yes, WIFI is on on both devices. And yes, i did add the amp as surrounds which loooks to have worked in the App but then no sound comes out the ceiling speakers.

I also did a factory reset on the amp and set it up as a seperate room and both devices work fine independently.
