Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Lost all connection on most Sonos 1 products play 1 , connect : amp , sub, boostNo changes to my network .now I am messages Incompatible equipment have always still been able to use my “legacy “ equipment … it would cost me a small fortune to replace 7 products to S2!any ideas on what to do ?  Or what changed with S1 products . thanks in advance 

Pandora always skips. I have a pandora app on my iphone and it plays perfectly there, but on sonos it plays 2-3 songs, gives an error and stops. Is anything wrong with sonos?

2 questions. Can I get rid of/delete TV from your sources and delete Your services completely? also, will the thumbnails ever work properly? Or how do I get them to work properly? 

The last few days someone has been able to get into my Sonos system and control it.  I was on the phone with Sonos today but they don’t know what is going on.  They had me doing the diagnostics many times today.  They are lost.  I have changed all my passwords to my Wifi and Sonos.  It didn’t help.  We have a house wide system and they keep getting on and turning the outdoor system to full volume.  It is bugging the neighbors.  We have 4 amps powering a home theatre and two subs in the backyard.  We have a theatre night planned for tomorrow but this may be done.  I am going to power it down for now but I need help.  I found this on youtube Is this true.  While I was typing they just did it again.  

Hello,I am unable for some time to launch a radio from a title from Spotify from the Sonos app. The app says “the connection to Spotify have been lost”. The connection to Spotify is active (everything else related to Spotify works) I’ve tried to reauthorise the account - changes nothing I have this issue with any titleThank you for your help

Deciros que seguramente se encuentren muchas personas en el mismo problema que tuve yo, por eso quiero compartirlo. Un día mi SONOS ONE dejo de conectarse a la red sin mas… después de muchas investigaciones, de hablar con servicio tecnico que me recomendó hablar con el proveedor de mis conexiones porque tenia una configuración del router o red muy complicada que realizar… Ese dia descubrí el problema… es una tontería. Todos los extensores de red wifi modernos vienen con 2 bandas 2,4 ghz y 5g. pues el sonos one no reconoce la 5g solo puede configurarse por la 2,4ghz. Solo desconectando momentáneamente la 5g se soluciona el problema de inmediato. No hace falta hacer nada mas, ni llevar todo a ajustes de fabricas ni nada… es super sencillo, lo que antes estaba horas para buscar sin llegar a buen puerto, ahora en un segundo se conecta… solo es eso, 2,4 ghz… Espero ayudar a mucha gente.

Sub mini is connected but no sub sound connected to Sonos Beam gen 2

I was listening this morning when the speakers made a pop/crackle sound and audio stopped. Receiver still plays with other inputs or apple air play. So it’s the port unit. I need suggestions on trouble shooting the port device. 

I am unable to add shared folder on my Brennan B3 from my sonos app.  The pathway doesnt work even though I follow all steps. Can anyone help?

I had long ago set up two Sonos households with the same email, and they have the same account number. (They are located on different physical networks). This used to be allowed, but causes problems these days (eg Alexa).Today, it is causing me problems, as I moved my Roam and Move to one of these households (from another household) and now they refuse to Register (due to the upnpovertls quarantine problem). Additionally, the Privacy & Security settings show wrong, and do not let me change Authorization, UPNP and Guest options.I tried changing the email address from my phone, thinking this might “split” my account, but it has made zero difference to the app, and the devices still refuse to register.Can anyone here help me? I’m not confident that regular support will even understand if I call in, this is hardly a mainline scenario. Hi All, Last week I received a Refurbished Sub Mini from Sonos (ordered directly from Sonos). This was added to my current Sonos Beam 2 + 2x Sonos Era 100s setup.Within minutes of getting it all configured, I noticed a deep popping noise coming from the Sub. This occurs randomly (I have got a couple of videos), but I’d say on average once every 5 minutes. It doesn’t seem to correlate to any particular music or sound and occurs via TV connection, AirPlay and even when the Sub is not playing any sound (but still connected and on). I have done all the usual troubleshooting attempts, such as;Changing Network ChannelDisabling 5GHZ on the router (using only 2.4GHZ)Hard wired the Sonos Beam 2 via ethernet to ensure the Beam and Sub are connected via SonosNet (WM0)Turned off multiple times via plugRemoved from Sonos app and reinstalledChanged Sub placementReset all EQ setting etc Despite trying

I picked up a Play:1 at Goodwill for the low price of $20 (kind of a steal noting how much they go for online), but if the speaker is above 45% volume on most songs, it loses bass and goes completely flat. I'm guessing that the speaker is worn out from age, so what's some recommended speakers to take it's place, or repair options?

Hi all,Sorry if this topic has been covered already but I’m getting so many conflicting instructions and advice and nothing has worked or been clear. I recently bought a Samsung S90F and wanted to connect it up to my existing Sonos Playbar via Optical cable - sound comes through on all devices but I can’t change the volume or mute. I’ve tried setting the Sonos up on the TV as a Home Theatre and assigning it as the output, with the TV sound also as Optical - still no success. I’ve gone through the Sonos App to add my remote control using their instructions but it never recognises the remote (its that one that uses solar to charge). I’ve read multiple conflicting articles on the remote being RF and Bluetooth to it being IR and RF and with the Playbar being IR only, perhaps this could be the issue.  I appreciate any suggestions on whether this connection is possible and if so, how? Am I doing something wrong, missing a step or nee

Airfoil on my Mac still connects to my Move 2, but the latter does not play any sound. Is this a known issue? (Firmware?) Can I do anything about it? Other sources get played normally.

I have an issue with my Move 2 when listening to audio from my Apple TV 4K. The issue is a loud pop or click sound that occurs randomly and inconsistently. I was originally told by Sonos technical support to restart my Move 2 which helps for awhile. This issue is getting worse requiring more Move 2 restarts. I was later told by Sonos Technical support that playing audio from Apple TV is not supported on Move 2. Is this indeed the case?

Windows app can’t access Spotify or Amazon music - problem connecting. Any attempt to manage music services gives an error saying there is no internet connection  and then the app just hangs. It has to be killed with windows task manager.FYI Mobile Sonos app on the same system works fine and both music services are ok from there - only the desktop app is failing.

Hi all - I have a current 5.1 set up in the family room (sorta)Denon 5.2 Ch Receiver PSB bookshelf speakers x2 In ceiling speakers x2 No sub (need to drill through cabinetry) No centre channel speaker In my equipment cabinet I have a Sonos AMP which is currently being used to power my outdoor deck speakers I also have 9 other Sonos powered zones through my house via AMP or Connect:AMPSo, I really need to add a centre channel and sub to this set up.  Sound is “ok” but without centre channel, the dialogue is missing something.Am I able to integrate the sound bar and sub into this set up easily?  Thanks 

iPhone 16pro. IOS and Sonos app updates and reset.  App crashes on phone and iPad when I try to set location 

Changed WiFi router and although it converses with Alexa and BBC Sounds, the request never gets passed through to the server.

I have posted before that I have a Gen 1 Play 5 on S1 and an Arc on S2. Each used a separate account and network. Once I have done resets, S1 will play for a few days  it then the "Sonos fond Connect" message comes up and my Play 5 does not get to play music. This is so frustrating and should be fixed by a line of code. If S1 is connected to Play 5 Hen1, then do not try to  connect to S2. Surely someone at Sonos can  ome up with a solution to this recurring problem. Yes, I know they would prefer me to buy something new, but based on this fiasco, it wouldn't be Sonos. The Play 5 is a great speaker. The support is rubbish.

As my new SONOS Port won't play M4a or 24bit wav files I(I want play my Chesky hires music files), what alternatives do I have? Other brands?I’ve tried converting them to 16bit wav files, but still won’t play on SONOS. Audacity won’t open them, but $500 laptop plays them fine with Foobar natively! Tried converting them to WAV16bit in Foobar, but they still won’t play. Only way I can get then to play is converting to mp3.

My left surround is 2 feet away and my right is more than 10 feet away.  After doing Trueplay, both surrounds show more than 10 feet away.  Any idea why the surround distance isn’t accurate when doing Trueplay tuning on iPhone?
