Hi,I just bought a pair of ERA 300 surrounds for my ARC Ultra and Sub Mini.I would like to know if I should angle the speakers or keep them straight ahead. It depends on the room from what I’ve read.The ERA 300 are approximately at the same height as the Sonos floorstands and approximately 3,8 ft from the side walls (measured from the center of the speaker). I use the official Sonos wall mounts and have to keep them where they are placed now. Room dimensions:Room Width 18 ftDepth: 12 ftDistance from floor to ceiling: 8,6 ft Picture taken close to the ARC Ultra and Tv and in the center: 

Symfonisk gen 1 and gen 2 will pair as stereo. Can such a pair be used as surrounds for the Arc Ultra?

I am attempting to connect my ageing Marantz CD player to Sonos Era 100 to play CDs in a simple 2 piece set up. I already have the Sonos Line In adaptor and now need the connecting cable from my 2 RCA outputs on the CD player to the 3.5mm plug on the Line In adaptor.Can anyone confirm I am buying the right cable, such as this ?RCA Aux Cable 3.5mm Jack to 2 RCA Audio Cable Y Splitter Adapter, 

I cant connect my sonos connect to my system..I try to reset it ,   my sonos is always searching and it never see it 

I recently bought a Victrola Hi Res Onyx turntable (note: NOT the Stream version), and planned to play records on my Sonos speaker setup using the Bluetooth connection.I have an Era 100, which supports Bluetooth, whereas the rest of my speakers are older generation and do not. I’m able to pair the turntable with the Era 100. Should I then be able to group/daisy-chain the Era 100 with my other speakers so I can listen to my vinyls across my entire system? When I try this the Sonos app shows the speakers are grouped but no sound is coming out of the older generation speakers.Any advice gratefully received. 

Hello, I have a project that includes an sound system from Sonos. In this project, I have Sonance speakers and amplifiers, as well as a WiFi network streamer from Sonos (Sonos Port). I connected the speakers to the amplifiers, linked the streamer to the amplifiers, and set up the system using the mobile app.My issue now is that when I move away from the location of the streamers in the rack room, the system disappears from the Sonos app, even though the entire villa is covered by internet and WiFi. When I set up the system on the mobile app, I selected the same local network for the internet. I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

How do I connect 2 Sonos Roam 2 speakers to play together.

Hi, I’m looking at getting stereo pair of Era 300s for music and to connect to my turntable. I currently listen in my room setup of arc, sub gen 3, and Sonos 1 surrounds. If I add another ‘room’ for the stereo Era 300s will it sound weird competing with the Arc and sub for Atmos music as all speaker would be in the same room?

I have a SONOS ACE and I use it only with the usbc to jack 3.5 cable because I don't want wave on my head.I test it with an electric field meter : despite the led is white, the headphone always emits in bluetooth (10V/m instead of 0.6V/m). This value is very very high because the bluetooth of my smartphone is off : The headphone ping in continuous to search it.If I turn on the bluetooth with the cable and I use the Sonos application : the value decreases at 3V/m but it's again high.I don't have this problem with my old headphone from an other mark (0.6V/m with cable, it's the environmental noise).There a solution to really turn OFF the bluetooth or it's a software bug ?Sonos can confirms this problem ?

A few days ago, I upgraded my components from S1 to S2. I was able to easily reestablish connections to Spotify, Pandora, Sirius, Soundcloud and so on, but I was not able to connect to my music library. I keep my library on a NAS (Buffalo Navigator 2). Some of the so-called help I found online for this problem included utilizing the sharing tab on the folder with my music. One problem...in Windows 11, the sharing tab is no longer available. Ugh. After a couple of frustrating days, I finally (and rather easily) figured it out what to do. I stopped mucking about with Sonos, and instead looked at the NAS. I opened the app for my NAS, selected the server, then from the menu tab, selected properties. I clicked open settings, entered my password, went to advanced settings, selected services, and I saw the DLNA server and print server were not on. I turned both on, and voila! I was able to access my music library. I suspect the DLNA was the culprit. I wish Sonos wou

After the latest update on the arc has anyone else found the speech enhancement toggle on the IOS app has been disabled please? 

I have a Sonos boost that I factory reset and am trying to set up as the hub for my system to replace a speaker that’s currently the SonosNet node (all devices are boost compatible). The boost is showing a flashing green light however it is not showing up in my s2 app when I go to add a new product. I’ve tried a couple of resets but it doesn’t seem to work. Not sure what else I can do. The phone and the boost are right next to each other. Could you help me troubleshoot this? 

After a successful reunion of my play 3 with an experts guidance I was hoping to reunite my second play 3 ….can I reboot this unit on my own ?…..it was previously synched to a different router & server .

Out of nowhere today the stereo pair of Era 100’s I had stopped working. I removed the stereo pair to reset them. But whilst I could hard reset one of them as expected, the other Era 100 will not reset. When inserting the power cable whilst holding the bluetooth button it will flash white for around a minute and then go to solid red. I have looked around the forums and can’t seem to find what a solid red light means.Have tried restarting phone, uninstalling and reinstalling S2 app, restarting home network.

Hi I have a pair of Eros 300’s. However, when playing anything but Spotify I get a message on the app saying ‘no content’ despite everything being connected with ability to play on anything else. Completely frustrated with the app which doesn’t work. Even playing Spotify it drops connections. I should be able to listen to anything I chose given the cost of these speakers.HELP PLEASE

Example: Captain America: Winter Soldier, downtown fight sceneAll of the sounds are coming from the front. There’s little left/to right or surround ambiance from the Arc Ultra. I was expecting sense of movement but it's all just coming straight at me, sounds like the fight’s happening in a closet. Other scenes in this movie we can hear the surrounds kick in and get plenty of separation, really wide soundstage.Am I at the mercy of the mix? Is this a decoding or software problem with Sonos? The MacOs Sonos app does not connect to the Play:1.  The best result is that the app will take a long time to connect then once it does the program plays for about 15 seconds, stops; this repeats for about 3 times then stops playing.  When I try to play a program a waiting to connect message appears then disappears.  A connection is never established..I am using a MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.3

To address the issue of users not understanding the consequences of Factory Resetting their system, can I request that Sonos introduce a backup function of a users Sonos system?  This could then be used to restore a setup in the event of either hardware failure or an ill advised factory reset.

My NAS, that I’ve used with Sonos V1 and up until earlier this year is old and only supports SMB1. Unfortunately Sonos’ decision to completely cutoff SMB1 has defeated this solution for share a Music Library.My router provides a USB folder share for files such as a Music Library. It is accessed via local DNS at \\readyShare\Music. All files are visible to the desktop app and Android app indicating that the apps are connecting with the share. However playing a file (mp3) results in Access Denied. The folder does not have credentials enabled however I have tried with no credentials as well as the router’s, none work.I have also tried sharing a folder on my local Window 11 PC, same result, files are visible however playing files are access denied. I’ve tried opening ports 443, 3443 and disabling the local firewall altogether on the PC.  There is no firewall that I’m aware of on the router, same for the Androids.I’ve called Support 3 times, each time they s

I have a new two speaker system, an era300 in living room and move2 in kitchen. They were working together well until I moved the portable to another room (where it worked well) but the move stopped making music even though it still appears in the sonos app as a unit (playing the same tune in both rooms). I reset the portable and it came back to play. The Era300 played for a minute and then IT stopped sounding. Huh?

Any ex My tuner users managed to find reasonably priced alterntaives to Sonos that use airable services?it’s apparent that airable will work around the copyright issues Sonos has faced with my tuner and others so we can no longer access international radio stations in the UK?

Hi - Is there any way to connect a Sonos Ray soundbar to a Pansonic TV TX-MS36O 32 - The TV has no optical socket only a HDMI Arc and a SPDIF Coax Out connector I have tried a cable from the headphone socket to the Sonos Ray - a Optical cable with a 3.5mm jack adaptor  Cheers   

On a regular basis, the sonos web player allows me to play music more reliably than the app. I do have the latest app. Speakers show up in both the web player and app, but the web player is more reliable. Anyone else have this issue?

Would be helpful if there is an option for Like and Dislike in Sonos YouTube music services.

Android app used to work great. Now, when I try to simply adjust the volume, it shuts off all the speakers. I have to adjust volume, then pick which speakers to turn on EVERY TIME I SIMPLY CHANGE THE VOLUME. This make the app pretty useless. Does anyone else have this issue?
