Hi, I have new Mac Book and trying to set up Sonos. Installed the app but there is no sign of “manage” to allow me to add music folders etc., I’m new to Mac and tried searching, googling etc., but am stuck. I have read other interesting articles about how to get my folders working once I can find “manage”, at least I think I have.
Hi, thanks for your response. I have read the article, many times, but I get stuck when we get to:
Sonos apps for macOS or Windows
- From the Manage menu, select Music Library Settings.
I do not have a settings cog, or “manage” option on the Sonos app on the Mac…..
any ideas please?
thanks for your time

Sure you do, in the Mac Desktop app. Sounds like you might be running the iOS app on your Mac: not the same. If problems persist post a screenshot of what you are (not) seeing.
Hi
Welcome to the Sonos Community!
Sorry to hear of the trouble you’re having with navigating the Sonos app on your Mac.
I also am not used to Macs, so I often forget that unlike on Windows, the program menu (where you find the File, Edit, Manage menus) is on the bar at the top of the desktop rather than attached to each window.
I hope this helps.
Thanks. I will try this and see where I get to. Also having trouble connecting my Buffalo NAS drive for our music but it’s old and I think may be something to do with security upgrades… I might need a new NAS drive. Thanks again
