Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I am trying to re-set up my SiriusXM on Sonos.  It worked fine previously, but I got a new router so I re-initialized Sonos.  Now, SiriusXM doesn’t work.  The Sonos app sends me to the SiriusXM app to reauthorize SiriusXM and it seems happy, but then when returning to the Sonos app, it says I need to reauthorize SiriusXM again.  I successfully do this but then it comes back to the same place and says I need to reauthorize SiriusSM.  I’ve done this a number of times now, but I'm stuck in the Sonos/SiriusXM reauthorize loop.  Has anyone seen this?

Here’s my dilemma with my Sonos Surround system.I have the Arc Sound bar; (2) Era 100s currently used as the Surround back L/R; and the Sub (Gen 3).  Work perfectly as home theater setup.But, due to the fact the Arc Sound bar is not BlueTooth capable; and, once the (2) Era 100’s are dedicated to Stereo Surround (which automatically disables them from being BlueTooth operable), there is no way to Blue Tooth music from my iPhone or iPad to play music through the Sonos System.The only temporary fix to BlueTooth music to the Sonos system is to go back into the Sonos app and “Remove Surrounds” from the Era 100’s and then reassign the Era 100’s to Stereo Front L/R and re-adjust the volume.  Now, the Era 100’s BlueTooth will work.My question: is there a way on the Sonos App to configure (program) two different listening environments and to easily toggle between the two configurations with just a click of a button.   For example:  “Configuration 1” would be were all the Sonos components are as

Is anyone else experiencing a recent unresponsive app issue. Both myself and a friend have the same problem. Sonos app not responding, finds system but won’t play music, if it does it won’t turn it off or change volume. Both happened towards end of last week.  I’ve tried uninstalling and going again but nothing. nothing in my setup has changed. 

I have created a queue and want to save as a playlist but don’t seem to be able to. Is this right?So if I navigate away from the queue (or to listen to a radio station), how do I get back to the queue if I can’t save it as a playlist?why have you made a really easy system so damn hard to use? Perhaps time to move away from Sonos to a more flexible system (like Sonos pioneered!)

I lost connection to the Beam 2 via WiFi.Did a reset the whole Beam already, did new setup, connected to the wifi, but it looses it directly. Also took it off from the power many times. Still not found in the app. I do see the Beam in my Unifi config. I restarted the Unifi DreamMachine (router) to avoid other problems and to get rid of Any suggestions? 

What happened to SonosTube? It no longer works and is no longer in Google Play. Is there another way/app to play YouTube video music (Not YouTube Music) through Sonos?

My Era100 won’t keep the coneection and turns off when used with my PC.When playing music from my phone there is no problem. But when I play from AppleMusic and Youtube via my computer it shuts down after about 10 seconds.Other times it keeps the connection for a longer while, but either way, it never actually play the sounds. It is connected but no sounds come out from either my PC or the Era100. The PC’s sound output is always set to the Era100.So it is has nothing to do with bluetooth or wifi connection - those are stable when I use my phone. Also the speaker is located right next to my wifi and I have another Era100 further away, with no issues. And my PC has no problem keeping bluetooth connection with my mouse and keyboard, so it shouldn’t be that either.Hope someone can help?

hello, since your app rleases on 09 and 12 December, there is now a new problem for voice-over users navigating away from the now playing screen. when you use this feature to either find out more info about the track playing, or when watching TV for turning speech enhancement and night sound on and off, it is no longer possible to close this screen via the button at the top left. this fault was present at the launch of the new app, but was resolved in July 2024, but it’s back once again! previously there used to be a close button at the top left of the screen, and also a dialogue to “close pop-up window” but these have both disappeared. At present the only way round this is to use the (very unreliable) two finger scrub jesture in voice-over, or alternatively to close the app completely and then restart the app. Are any other voice-over users experiencing this fault? also can this bug be looked at by your development team and resolved as soon as possible please. it’s really disappointin

I would have added my comment to an already existing question, but that topic has been closed and the matter has still not been fixed.As a professional video games programmer I will try to be as objective as I can without it sounding as though I’ve just spent £3500 on a complete pile of rubbish. If SONOS spent half as much effort on fixing the numerous bugs in their software as they do on advertising their products their customers would be much happier.Sonos support are aware of these bugs and are nearly as exasperated as the customers.The only solution to this problem is to get a statement from the CEO who should be fully aware of these software bugs (if he/she isn’t the they should be sacked) and what they intend to do about them. Who is on the programming team? Why hasn’t this been addressed? Do they have a producer, and why haven’t they been fired? Your customers need to be reassured and this need to come from the top - Now.Having every customer hating your guts is not a good look

It seems these forums are littered with SONOS app complaints and issues around similar topics to this. The (older orange) Windows app worked fine setting up and detecting my Music Library at  //mybooklive/public/shared music. I could also work in fine using the Web app.The (newer black) iOS app however has been an absolute headache. First, when I tried //mybooklive/public/shared music, it just wouldn’t recognise the pathway… so I replaced the space with an underscore _ and now it is recognising it. However, it comes and goes regularly. This morning, it’s still there, but despite this I cannot find and use the Music Library. The app is recognising the pathway, but not displaying any music from it on my iPad or iPhone. The windows app and the web app still both work fine.What gives? What happened to SONOS? A basic requirement so fundamentally broken 😠

Hi,I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and all works fine with my TV via HDMI.I also have an old Karaoke system (Debra Pro X7 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B6C6LHN8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which has optical inputs/outputs and works fine with my old soundbar.However, I cannot get it to work with the Sonos.TV HDMI to Sonos HDMI - OKTV Optical to Sonos HDMI (via Sonos Optical/HDMI adaptor) - OKTV Optical to Karaoke Optical to Sonos HDMI (via Sonos Optical/HDMI adaptor) - NO AUDIOTV Optical to Karaoke Optical to Denon Soundbox Optical - OKThere is obviously an incompatibility between Sonos and the Karaoke box but what could it be?The Karaoke box instructions does state the following "For different versions of optical fiber interfaces, some compatibility issues may occur. HelloPreviously had a Panasonic TV + Beam (surrounds and sub) + Apple TV. Getting 5.1 no issues.New Samsung OLED and Apple TV will not output anything other than Stereo PCM.Firestick and Built in Apps showing 5.1 so it’s specific to Apple TV.Rebooted everything, reseated HDMI cable to everything. Done new TV setup on Sonos App.Not really sure where to go next?  Tried forcing 5.1 on Apple TV but I then get dialogue out of the surrounds!  

Hi all!ordered a new Arc Ultra 10 days ago from Sonos Europe. Even paid for faster shipping (2 working days). Still today I haven’t got it yet. Apparently, DHL service has some serious delays. I sold my Playbar and been stuck with my Tv’s speaker for too long :-(Also, will I be able to play atmos music on my Arc Ultra. It has nothing to do with the fact my TV is non eArc, right?One final thing. Many claim Playbar was/is better for stereo music than both of the Arcs. Your thoughts? Can’t wait for my new speaker.Neven

I was signed in as the system owner, why do I have to sign out and then in again as the system owner only to get a message of something went wrong try later. It has been months with this issue and there is no fix. Ready to throw the whole system out the window. 

Updated app yesterday and now nothing works - 2 hrs waiting and then dealing with helpdesk - router rebooted 4 times all 20 devices rebooted, controllers reloaded several times, moved to Sonos channel 1 and still not working. Approximately 5 hrs of wasted time, pls help. Helpdesk claim it is a known problem which isn’t particularly helpful - a known solution would be better and a timeframe for when it will get fixed - another massive Sonos own goal.

I can't even play songs or control volume with it as well as any integration with Alexa or Google Assistant. The developers and especially the managers/c-suite execs should all be ashamed of themselves for rolling out this crap.

New ARC owner here. Installed today (by the retailers installation service). It’s connected to the TV and that seems to be working. I have the Sonos app on my iPhone13 and have run through the setup (many times) and it fails to register. The app recognises the ARC, is connected (in “About My System”) and it is added to my “Family Room” but shows as “Not Registered”. I’ve reset the router, have both the ARC and the iPhone on the 2.4GHz side of the wifi. The ARC shows up as a connected device in the router admin. I’ve tried it with an ethernet cable. I’ve reset the app several times, done the factory reset on the ARC several times. Nothing I do seems to be able to get me past the register stage. My account on the Sonos website shows no registered products in my System.  It feels like there’s nothing working at the other end for the app to communicate with.  Any ideas?  Thanks.    Roman 

Hi all!I must say the apple music on my Arc Ultra really blew me away. One thing is not clear to me.When listening to simple stereo music the rears mimic the arc i.e. i get stereo on front and stereo on back.if i move the surround music tab to plus or minus i shift the volume from front to back. If i move te surrounds music slider to plus or minus when listening to atmos mix, what difference will it make? Thank youNeven

I’m looking to get a set of Bluetooth headphones. I can’t justify buying the new Sonos ones so my question is are all Bluetooth’ phones compatible with my Sonos system which consists of , Beam,Port,Mini Woofer and two One SL surround speakers?Thanks in advance. 

Hi all, as the topic says, I’m considering purchasing a new soundbar. I have a current model fire TV, made by Toshiba, that does support E-arc. I also have a PC and a mac, that right now are connected to HDMI two and three, respectively, on the TV. I want to be able to use one or both devices, without turning on the TV, if I don’t need to. I am completely blind, so have no need to have a monitor on at all times. I am considering the Beam Gen 2. Will this device allow me to send audio to my PC or mac, without having to first turn on the TV? Should I consider an Arc for this? My main application for this bar is music playback, with some movies here and there. Thanks much for your help and advice. Guy 

Hello, I moved some furniture in my office and decided I wanted to use TruePlay again. I went in the app and when it went to confirm the speakers it came back as failed. I have 3 different amps with 3 different pairs of Sonos architectural speakers that aren’t working. I’ve had this setup for over 2 years and nothing has changed which leads me to believe it’s software based. Has anyone else noticed their amps not “seeing” the Sonos speakers?
