Sub Mini with music playback

Hi. 
I’ve just purchased a Beam 2 and Mini Sub to add to my existing setup. 
 

All is working fine for movie content etc - sounds great. 
 

When I playback music, either via an app like Spotify or in the Sonos App, the sound only comes from the Beam 2 and nothing from the Sub. 
Is there any way I can change this?

I’m sorry to hear that your Sub isn’t performing as expected. 

You may notice the sub less with certain types of music versus TV or movies, so as a test, try with some bass heavy music to see if you can hear anything. If you can, then try turning the bass up in the app under the EQ settings or moving the Sub to another location. Many users suggest performing a ‘sub crawl’ to find the optimal location to place your sub, so if you can hear it with boosted settings or sub centric songs, then this may help.

If moving the Sub or adjusting the bass in the app doesn’t help, then I’d suggest submitting a diagnostics while music is playing and the Sub isn’t working, then contacting our support team. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system and see why the Sub isn’t playing correctly.
