Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Buongiorno sono giorni che smanetto in rete, per un quesito e ora mi affido a voi.Ho un sistema Sonos home theatre beam one sl e sub, ho  intregrato ad Apple tv.Vorrei anche utilizzare tutto il sistema Apple quindi ho perplessità su l’acquisito delle cuffie Ace,vistoche utilizzo molto anche per ascoltare musica oltre hai film, puntavo su delle cuffie Beats Studio pro,adun prezzo minore e utilizzabili con app Apple. le apple airpods max non le prendo in considerazionecosto troppo elevato….Spero in un vostro consiglio  Grazie,Francesco.  

Sonos Beam Gen2/AtmosHello friends, maybe you can help: I hung a Sonos Beam2 on the eARC HDMI of an LG. But I don't get an Atmos signal on the Beam (e.g. On AppleTV in the app on the LG). The settings of the LG say that it is "merely" about the (lousy) internal speakers. Is there a trick or attitude for this?(german Screenshot) 

Hey all, I’ve got two Era 300s and sub mini that I’d like to put in a 200sqft 12x15 home gym.Thinking either wall mount on back wall (yellow x’s) using the Sonos wall mounts with sub mini in middle on floor (yellow dot). 12” from ceiling and upside down with sound above ear level and angled in a V toward middle of room. wall mount on side walls at same height (green dots) upside down and angle so wider V toward middle of room, with sub in same place.wall mount on front wall higher (above doors (orange dots) 3-4” from ceiling upside down but no place for sub. At this point my hands are in the air with Sonos. I’ve had more problems than I can count in the last 18 months or so. Now my arc randomly doesn’t work when I turn on my tv. I’ll go to bed everything was working fine. Turn on tv in the morning no sound. Tv says arc is connected all settings are good. Updates are good. I’m at a loss with Sonos. It has just gone so down hill I’ve had connectivity issues on every speaker in my house (a lot of them). Something is always wrong with this system these days. It has been ruined by I don’t know what. Software updates? Over engineering? Whom knows. This system used to be the cream at the top. Started using it in 2000 and I swear it worked better then.  Argh. No more Sonos buying for me.  There are too many other good options out there these days.

Hello everyone,Here’s detailsSonos always been on 2.4ghz private wifi, we have three routers, one for pos system(toast), one for customers, and one for management(2.4ghz/internal5ghz), Sonos has always been connected to the management WiFi. Today for some reason, it has trouble connecting to the management, so I forgot system and did it on the 5g customer wifi, was on the phone with Sonos while this happened, 3-4 speakers connected but two of them were on management wifi and the other 2 were on customer 5g, weird. I had connected to customer 5g on mobile and set them up on that wifi but my system wouldn’t show up unless I was on management wifi. Reset everything and tried again. This time I deleted the management wifi and made a wifi called Sonos just for Sonos. After that, I never got another speaker connected. I would go through all the steps, get to the part where it wants me to type in the wifi password, then it wouldn’t never connect and ask me to try again until

Why can't I authorize Sonos Radio? Klaus

My Sonos app on Windows no longer functions. It just goes round in circles, It starts with saying that it needs an update. When pressing update it says it doesn’t need an update as everything is up to date. I can then press more options, and select “continiue using sonos app” which will tell me that my products haven’t been registered. I press Registere products and enter in my credentials, and sonos tells me that my system is updated. Pressing OK just takes me back to the same screen saying I need to register. Restarting the app just takes me back to start with the app saying i need to update.I’ve tried resetting the app, and then join existing system, But that also takes me to the starting point saying that I need an update.Repairing or re-installing the app doesn’t solve the issue either.Does anybody have an idea as to how to make it work again? I have a new setup with Arc Ultra, sub4, and 2 era 100 speakers.  Everything seems to be working properly except the volume from the speakers does not adjust with the tv volume.  If I mute the tv the speakers continue to play.  Any suggestions?

bonjour, je suis équipé d’un ONE et d’un ERA100 qui fonctionnent avec l’appli S2; mais j’ai encore mes vieux ZP120, et je voudrais les faire fonctionner avec l’appli S1; c’est possible ? j’ai essayé, mais l’appli S1 ne reconnait pas mon ZP120; est-ce que je dois créer un autre compte pour l’appli S1 ? 

I have a Beam2 paired with 2 Era 100s. This system does not reproduce the highs I enjoyed with much older Hifi systems. Background chimes, tambourine jangles, or orchestral bell sounds are missing from the Sonos speakers. Interestingly, my car sound system reproduces the same high frequency sound layers quite clearly on same tracks. Ive played with the treble slide controls without success. My guess is that Sonos just doesn’t include tweeters capable of reproducing these higher frequency sounds. Very disappointing.  Anyone else experiencing same issue?

Hi, I did install a Sonos amp 1 gen with Turntable  on my Sonos system ( 4 x play5 , 2 x play3) .sound from Turntable is perfect to All my sonosspeakers in All the rooms but I have no sound on the external speakers which are plugged in the amp. Statuslight on the amp is continous white , so ok. what is the problem?

I currently use my Beam as a soundbar for my Samsung TV. I want to continue to do this but also to begin using it as a speaker for a Bluetooth turntable. Could I achieve this by using a Bluetooth adapter and an HDMI splitter so that I don’t have to keep swapping between the different sources? 

Hey Sonos,Could you clarify the situation with Last.fm integration? Initially, it disappeared from the mobile app but was still accessible on the desktop version and functioning in the background. However, it now seems to be entirely unavailable.Could you please confirm if there are plans to restore this feature soon? Thank you.

Hello,After connecting the ARC Ultra to my Sony KD-65X9300D via the HDMI ARC port I find that when I turn of the TV and it’s left in standby for some period e.g. overnight, then the next time I turn the tv on it does a complete reboot. This can take 3-5 mins to complete and is totally annoying. Anyone come across this? Any suggestions on how to config the ARC or the TV? Granted it’s an old model tv, still I don’t see why connecting something to a HDMI port (I have a Pioneer Blu-ray and a no-name internet video receiver connected as well) can cause this problem. The Sony tv performed perfectly before this albeit there were a few hiccups occasionally which simply required powering off and on at the wall to correct.  thanks. 

I usually use my Roam to play in the kitchen while the Beam and Era 100 x2 play in the loungeroom. The beam is connected to a Panasonic TV via the Viera HDMI connection. The TV is connected to my Optus router via WiFi which is in the dining room off the kitchen. It is common for the Roam to suffer interference when playing music, but not when playing conversations on You Tube for instance.Since the Roam is in the same room as the Router (sitting atop a sideboard about 2m above floor level) I am puzzled as to the cause of the interference. I am assuming that the Roam is connecting directly to the router, but is that correct? Does it connect to the Beam? The Beam and Roam are not on a direct line of sight, There is a laundry between them. The lounge, dining room and kitchen wrap arounfg the laundry in a horsehoe shape.

My Sonos Roam has been unreliable since day one. I thought it was me not pressing hard/firmly/long enough on the  on/off button on the back of the speaker.  Several times I was going to contact the support team shortly after I purchased it but then it worked so assumed it was user error. Today all the system was working, good wifi connection, Roam turned on, lights displaying - not a sound even though the app said otherwise. The app then stated not connected. I turned it on, off, on again, off completely pressing top and back buttons, leaving a few minutes, turned on again. Still no connection despite app. stating otherwise momentarily. Please either sort it out or replace it with  a working Roam. Thank you in anticipation.

My speakers are in a photo studio and I want other people to be able to play their music on them. 

I have an Era 100, which I was using only for music streaming (Spotify)Recently I have bought a Panasonic TV and paired the Era100 with it.The problem is, how to use the TV remote, tu volume up and down, as right now is useless.The only way to use volume, is with the slide on the TV, which is really uncomfortable.Another thing which I noticed is: if I am selecting the TV out, and the Era100 is paired, then the sound comes from TV speaker and Era100, which is annoying THANKSSteve

About six months ago my Sonos would randomly just not work from the app. It would work for a few days and then not for a few. Finally it completely stopped and I reset and reinstalled the speakers and app. All was well for a couple of days. Then one speaker would play a different station from the other speaker.  Went through the same reset and reinstall process. Also unplugged routers. Now only one speaker shows up on the app. I heard that Sonos recently updated their "system" and things have been glitchy since then. Any advice, suggestions appreciated. Such a great product, very disappointed that I have to go through the reinstallation process every few days. 

I have created a stereo pair with my Beam and 2 Play 1s. The connection worked well and I did the Trueplay tuning. However I am watching TV with my beam and am now trying to select my stereo group. The option is available and all speakers show online but whenever I select it the option never activates. Any help how to get the option to actually select and hold please.

Please oh please can there just be some way to clear all music so each speaker doesn't show something different when you never intend such a thing. Is Sonos ever going to add this much desired feature?It is so very frustrating… to go from maybe a few days ago listening to one speaker, and a few days later it's still showing that.   You can't unclick all, which would be a simple solution.  Help?

I’ve had Sonos speakers for over a decade so am well versed in issues and resolving them. That said I am at a point with a relatively new Sonos One SL (Oct 2023) where I’m close to ditching the thing.  Almost every month, for no reason we can fathom, it disconnects from the system and I have to go through the entire factory reset, setup from scratch. It’s the only thing that works. Even then I often have to do this several times until, again for no obvious reason, it returns to the system.  the other speakers are and have always been rock solid - two ancient Play 1 and a very old Playbar. This sound familiar to anyone - any help would be appreciated. 

Does anyone have experience with concealing a Sonos Amp in a dedicated recessed media box behind a Samsung Frame TV? I’m obviously most concerned with heat build up and ventilation. Thanks ahead of time!
