I have an Amazon music playlist with 198 songs on it.  The last 2 songs on the playlist are by Gorillaz, 19-2000 and 19-2000 (Soulchild remix).

When I use the SONOS app or website to shuffle the playlist, it shows only 100 songs in the queue...

...until the first track has played and then it magically increases to 198 songs in queue...The issue is that the additional 98 songs are only the 2 Gorillaz tracks.

Any ideas whats going on and how to fix it?  I like Gorillaz occasionally but not when its almost every other track!

Hello @rbroadbe, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with Amazon Music playlist duplicating tracks while played in the Sonos App.

We tried to reproduce this but were unable to, do you have this issue every time you are trying to play that playlist via the Sonos App?

Does it occur:

  • If you create another Amazon playlist with the exact same tracks?
  • If you save that Amazon playlist as a Sonos Playlist in the Sonos App?
  • If you remove those two specific Gorillaz tracks?

If you are still getting duplicate tracks and can reproduce easily, please Submit Diagnostics after doing so and reach out to our Support Team for live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.

Use the Desktop or third party app. The mobile app has some limits on collection sizes of 100 for some reason.

this worked
“ save that Amazon playlist as a Sonos Playlist in the Sonos App?”

copying the Amazon playlist to a new one didn’t  work.

I also removed the 2 tracks from the Amazon music playlist but Sonos app isn’t yet seeing the change. Not sure how long that takes.
