About three monhs about the sonos app stopped remembering where I left off when stopping in the middle of an audible book. How do I fix it?
Hi
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues using Audible with Sonos. I’ve had a look into our internal information but nothing shows up about this specific issue. There are a few community threads about this, though few and far between.
Since Audible on Sonos should allow you to continue where you left off (at least that’s what I assume from the “Listen on the Audible app while you’re on the go and pick up right where you left off at home on Sonos.” phrase on the Audible on Sonos article), then I’d suggest reauthorizing Audible if you haven’t already. You can do this by going to Account → Content Services → Audible → Primary Account → Reauthorize Service. If Primary Account isn’t an option, then remove Audible as a service instead and add it back after.
If a reauthorization doesn’t resolve this for you, then I’d recommend reaching out to our support team to troubleshoot further with them, as well as report the issue and record a case.
I hope this helps!
Where do I find “Account”? On the app itself or on the sonos site? I can’t find it.
Hi
Where do I find “Account”? On the app itself or on the sonos site? I can’t find it.
It’s in the Sonos app, the account/profile button in the top corner next to the settings icon.
Account → Content Services → Audible → Primary Account → Reauthorize Service
This is such a pain in the a--. One reason I regret ever buying Sonos products and why I’d jump at an opportunity to find an alternative. Any suggestions? I’ve had nothing but problems with my four Sonos Play One speakers, one after another, every week or so since I got them ten years ago.
I’m experiencing the same problem.
If the suggested fix didn’t work for you, what was the response from the support team, when you made the suggested call?
