Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a Sonos system set up separate from my hi-fi system. I would like to stream my vinyls over my Sonos. I will buy the amp ( or port) but I was wanting to stream over the new Ace head set as well. Does the Ace connect to the Amp or Port. Is there a away to listen to my re ords on the new Ace. Or do I have to continually wait for a fully integrated headphones ( that we have been promissed)Thanks

have a monitor asb-2 soundbar that is now more than 10 years old. i also have a Panasonic 65" EZ952 OLED 4K UHD TV that was bought in 2018. i also have a Sonos Z80, Youview box, Sony DVD player and Roku box. everything is connected to the ASB via HDMI and the soundbar is connected to the TV through ARC. The Sonos Z80 is connected to the soundbar via an optical cable.i’m considering upgrading my soundbar to the new Sonos Arc Ultra. however it seems there is only 1 HDMI port on the Sonos and the TV only has an older version of ARC and not eARC. it seems that very few soundbars have HDMI ports either.what is the best way to configure the system if i use the Arc ultra (which doesn’t have HDMI pass through either).

Hello - I have 2 x Era 300s on a wifi network and would like to add a couple more smaller speakers to the system to fill out the room. Usecase is music in a midsized room.Budget is an issue so looking at second hand, will older models like Play 1 do the job? Any older models that wouldn't work?Thanks.

was playing a playlist streaming from apple music on ARC+Surroundsuddenly it all went silentthe app showed it was playing, but nothing was heardexited the app - started backi now saw the ARC was not listed (all other speakers listed)suddenly after 20'ish seconds the ARC showed again, but playlist wiped - i assume it restarted but I had not seen any blinking lights on the ARC. Submitted diagnostic **********Logged in to Sonos webiste and see there it say my account was created today, which is far from reality. Sonos, what’s going on?This has happened twice in 3 weeks. Hello everyone,Lately, I've noticed the volume level seems lower when integrating Sonos and Spotify. I've tested this on several Era 100s, Fives, and Sonos Ones, and I find myself needing to increase the volume significantly compared to last week. Do you know if there have been any recent changes to the Spotify integration volume? This occurs whether using Spotify Connect and the Sonos app. Do you have the same feeling?

I lost WAY too much time on this issue.If it can help at least one person to not lose as much... Turns out that, if you are using your Sonos in a Dual-Stack Environment, if you only get Name-servers over IPv6, Sonos is unable to use them. Your name-servers NEED to be reachable over IPv4 for Sonos to work. Hopefully, this bug gets fixed soon as more and more ISP’s are transitioning and leaving the legacy where it belongs.

I attempted to listen to a Pandora station and nothing is happening.  I’ve removed my pandora account and readded but still unable to stream.  I’ve rebooted by Sonos speaker and no luck.  I can stream SiriusXM but not Pandora.I have verified that Pandora is working through the Pandora app.I’ve tried on both an Android app and from a Mac Mini and both show the same thing.Errors I’m getting have been Network issues or something went wrong.Anyone else experiencing this?  I’ve submitted diagnostics *********.Moderator edit: Recorded and removed diagnostics number

Several more Sonos releases have been and gone, and yet there seems to be no progress with restoring what should be basic functionality in the App which would greatly improve the User Experience:Still cannot save the current Queue to a playlist. Such a basic feature.  The Sonos Windows App can do this, as can third party Apps. Why do Sonos think this should not be included in the IOS App? After playing a radio station still cannot revert back to playing the current loaded queue with the App.  Again easily done in the Windows App and third party Apps.  Would it be so difficult to add a button to the now playing screen to get back to the queue? Alarms can be created, switched on and off - but once created they cannot be deleted?I think Sonos would be better off spending their time restoring some of these simple User Interface issues, rather than seemingly concentrating on secondary issues such as controlling Hue lighting via Sonos voice commands.

I have a Sonos Arc.  When I took the soundbar out of the box after purchase the set up when fine.  Everything worked including all controls.  Since then the EQ has stopped working and also the loudness selection.  The speech enhancer works just fine.  You can use the sliders for bass and treble but it has no effect on the sound.  I tried a factory reset and reboots of the internet connection plus reinstalled the app but these controls still will not work and have no effect on the audio.  All updates have been done.  I am very disappointed and am afraid that this problem will keep me from buying anymore Sonos products or giving a good recommendation if asked.

Hi Why doesn't Sonos release a Sonos music app like Spotify? Seamless music in 24bit quality.Would maybe solve a lot of issues with various music apps.Maybe one day?

Så hopper den automatisk over i den nye Sonos app.  Skal bruge S1 Appen til min Play 5 ( 1 gen. ) Syntes jeg har forsøgt alt det beskrives man kan gøre, men uden held.  Er der nogen der har nogle tips og tricks ?

Can’t submit diagnostics report. Spotify not working through Sonos S2 or Spotify Connect. This is a constant problem.  reset products. Reset wifi. Tried everything. I feel like this is a major flaw in the S2 app that continues to get worse. 

Hi, I need to update my bridge on my sonos Play 1 and it doesn’t work. I’ve rebooted everything (sonos, mobile and wifi router) and I still get the message « There was a problem setting up your bridge. Our customer care is ready to help ».  The problem is I cannot listen to the radios any more. Thanks a lot for your support!

I have recently wall mounted by Sonos Beam Gen 1 to the wall underneath my wall mounted tv. up until that point the beam was working perfectly with the tv volume. Now the tv volume won’t play through the beam, air play works fine through the beam. The beam is taking control of the tv as it usually does because it has disabled the tv speakers as it usually does but no tv sound is coming though the speakers, I’ve cross checked everything, switched off the Beam, reset my WiFi hub. went into the Sonos app and tried the TV connection and it says ino connection to TV but the beam is connected properly?? Can anyone help? Nine months ago, I posted a question about the missing custom URL feature, which disappeared after the catastrophic update in June 2024. I received a few unsatisfying responses, and nothing has improved since then.I originally bought my system because I could listen to a blues radio service that was, in my opinion, exceptionally well curated.Then June 2024 came, and since that update, I’ve had to rely on TuneIn+ and use rather cumbersome workarounds just to access my custom URLs. Unfortunately, those URLs now disconnect frequently—often several times an hour—and the service is reported as unavailable although it works perfectly.And for the “experts”: this is not a problem with my network, internet connection, or any firewall issue. I can listen to the same radio station on my smartphone or tablet for days without a single interruption connected to the same network (no 4G or 5G connection).So, it seems clear that the issue lies somewhere in the combination of Sonos and TuneIn+. Having had Sonos for several years I’m deeply dissatisfied with seeing large distirbing bugs still exists… for instance:one app user starts a playlist from one phone with app. Another user starts her app and selects the room that is playing - and the playlist switches to the Music last played at phone 2 last room… that is ridiculous… or starting playing from line in in (turntable) in room x and double the sound to another room freezes the entire system (all rooms disappear for about a minute). And the slowness of the ui in general- thats another thing… and integration with Apple Music where it seems tobe almost a manual task to find a playlist for example eg. no search… Are there any “get rid of this none-working-software” in scope or is just a term for using Sonos as it is in 2025. feel free to comment - I’m just about to give up as it seems the buglist is endless and bugs er Way to Big in my opinion. 

Hi,i have deleted the alarms i set on the app on my lap top and I then re set them. I am still getting the sonos Chime alarm - the speakers are Play gen 1If i then push the pause button on the speaker - the chime alarm stops.The alarm i have set via the app on my lap top plays / kicks in - for example the radio channel i have chosen. how do i stop the Sonos Chime Alarm ?

Hello, as you seen in the title problem I have too much power in my opinion becoming from my system (A Ray, 2x Era 100 and a Sub Mini), I was watching a movie when I found out that sounds very good (quality and volumes) in 5.1 and without having Dolby Atmos well also, but then I was curious about this and while I was investigating about it I played some music from my PS5 connected to my LG TV and finally to the Ray by the optical cable but with 30% of volume (real 60% but I have the limit on Sonos app to max 50% of volume, so) and I was shocked about the high volume by only the Ray (the signal was in Dolby Digital 5.1 but Spotify tracks are in stereo so the surround speakers doesn't do anything (is normal because was dd 5.1 not pcm stereo or dd2.0) and the volume was very high in my opinion and after with my phone I installed several apps of sonometers and all the apps said that were between 82 - 85 dB at 2 meters from the Ray, I know that these apps aren't accurate at all but the max

Since the new software update last month I can’t airplay from my iPhone to any of my Sonos speakers. Play a track, select airply options and the speakers are all showing, once you click on a speaker, the tick comes up but no music plays.  after 3-5 seconds it times out and starts playing out of my iPhone speaker again.This is the same wether it’s Apple Music app, YouTube, whatever. So it isn’t a 3rd party app issue. Sonos is up to date on software updates and network updates. and yes, everything has been turned off and back on for a reset :)The Sonos app works fine and plays. speakers work fine with TV and also from my wifes Samsung phone she can play to any speaker, so it has to be an apple to Sonos connectivity issue specifically via airplay.  Any ideas??

Spotify Lossless is now working on my Sonos Fives, but it still says it's not available on my Sonos Ones. Is this because it's still being rolled out, or is it not going to be enabled on Sonos One?

I have recently had a new Vodafone router and now my Sonos One Gen2 will not accept the WiFi password.I have done a factory reset of the speaker, rebooted the router, switched off the extender, connected to ethernet cable and none of these actions have allowed connection. I have even tried connecting to my phone via a mobile hotspot, but exactly the same, does not accept password.All other devices have connected to the new router without any issue.Any advice before I throw it in the bin !Thanks

Just moved to Tidal from Spotify and now I can’t do artist radio in the Sonos app.So many threads about this but no resolution? Come on Sonos, any update? This is ridiculous.
