Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I couldn't be happier with my new Sonos Arc Ultra with Era 100 surround set. However. The volume gets quite loud and I don't want to wake up my toddler or annoy my neighbours. Adding a timer function is a MUST HAVE for this device. It's not hard to implement: just turn on night mode every night at 22.00 and turn it of at 06.00. That's it.I have found dozens of topics on these forums and on Reddit requesting this feature. Please Sonos - add it quickly! This is a must have!

Alright folks. I’m new to the Sonos universe and have some equipment setup questions.  I have a 82 inch Samsung QLEs TV, Apple TV 4K, (2) Sonos Amps and (4) Sonance 8” in wall architectural speakers (2 fronts/2 rears). Sonos sub is on its way…I also have a Eufy camera system that is POE. Everything is wired to a router in a closet approximately 6 feet away. (Amps are hardwired to the router with the WiFi turned off)I’ve tried to set the system up but couldn’t get audio coming to the in walls without either airplay from my phone or directing the audio from the Apple TV to the speakers by selecting it from the audio setting in the device (when this is done I cannot control the speaker volume from the Apple Remote and have to go through the Sonos app to control the volume). I’ve turned the anynet+ off/on, unplugged components and self help topics from this forum. I had one of the amps wired to eARC and still had no luck. I ended up going to BestBuy and purchased a Rocketfish - 2-Output HD

Trying to access Relisten through Sonos app. All I get is “No content items available.” I reinstalled Relisten in my Sonos app, but nothing changed.

How can we turn explicit filter off ? 

iOS 26 was released earlier today. While I’m not yet brave enough to go for it, I’m curious about other’s experiences with it.

For the past few days, the tracks on an album or playlist have been stopping a few seconds before the end and then moving on to the next track.The two One speakers are no longer playing anything, only the Playbase is. I have to pause and then resume playback for the sound to come back through all the speakers.Is anyone else experiencing this problem?Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Can I have 1 Era 300 and a Sub mini paired together?

Amazon Music Ultra HD (albeit I guess at 48KHz) has been playing succesfully on my paired Fives, Port, Roam and Play: Five (2nd Generation). In fact I’ve noticed more Ultra HD options over the last few weeks.Today though trying to playing A Pink Floyd album (A Saucerful...) it wouldn’t play and a message appeared:Amazon Music. it's encoded at an unsupported sample rate 48000 hz which should be playable! Other albums which previously played as Ultra HD still do, others now as HD.Anybody also having this (or able to solve!) problem. Thanks for any help.

My CR200 is no longer connecting (after a Sonos engineer did some.recent work which fixed another problem). Question: If I do a “Factory Reset Controller” on my CR200, will I lose all my Sonos playlists (after 20 years of painstaking work — I don’t want to even remotely risk this)??  Thank you for any info. 

One of my speaker, a Play:1, is waving a constant white noise when activated. It’s silent when not used but if I launch some music, it plays the music with the white noise on top of it. Is there anything I can do to fix this ? The speaker is a Play:1 used in a pair. The white noise stays when un-paired and whatever service is being played to it. The other Play:1 works fine. 

Every time there’s a power outage my Sonos Arc does not play any sound with my Sony Bravia TV.It says it’s connected and “Audio System active” but I cannot hear anything from the Sonos Arc.I have tried disconnecting, restarting the TV and Sonos Arc, unplugging its power but nothing seems to fix the issue.Help?

Hello, I have a problem on my 6 sonos Roam 2. I have a SSID with a password only for my Sonos Roam. I use a different WIFI (open) for my guest. I don’t understand why my guest on the other WIFI can play music on my sonos from a device (iphone etc...)It’s 2 differents WIFI (but on the same firewall Zyxel)Maybe someone can help me …Baptiste

My Ace is paired successfully to my iPhone. Both devices (headphones and phone) and the Sonos app are up to date. When I make a call on the phone, it automatically uses the Ace for headphones and microphone. However, when I receive a call, I have to manually select the Ace from the audio options from the phone app every time I get a call. Am I the only one with this issue? Surely the use case is that if the Ace is paired to the phone and they are on my head, then it will automatically act as the default option for sound on an incoming call??? Like, why would I want to take the headphones off to answer the call!?!?!If there is a fix for this issue, please let me know! Thanks!!!

I have been having issues with my One SL Speaker that’s in my bedroom - it keeps changing its name back to “Kitchen”, which then gets confusing as I have already another speaker in the kitchen.I am changing the speaker name in the SONOS app on my phone, and it reverts back to kitchen the next time I use my speakers. I’ve read many posts online about it being related to Apple Home Kit but I do not use Apple Home at all.I have tried removing the device, re-adding it to my system, and I even factory reset the device with no luck.Is this some sort of glitch within Sonos? Can any one provide any information on how to fix it.   

Just wanted to share some useful information. I found a post in this community suggesting a HDMI ARC Audio Extractor made by Tohilkel and sold on Amazon. I had tried everything up to that point and I’m a HT technician for Geek Squad. It worked like a charm. Sound immediately started playing as soon as I plugged it in with zero issues. Idk about other TVs but this TV in particular definitely works. More than likely it will work on other TVs, especially other Samsung TVs. Ordered 2 for the 2 of the same model TV listed above. So, depending on page in the S1 app the menu is either placed at the bottom and consistent with the rest of the page, or in most cases the menu is instead at the top, with some kind of ”new” look, not consistent with the design and also leaving the place at the bottom, where the menu used to be, blank. I see absolutely no benefit here. What was the idea behind this change? It’s not like this on iPhone. 

Hi there,  I’m hoping someone come help me, I have quite a large Sonos system. 31 devices total and I’ve spent the last week hardwiring the system with cat 6 data into a Unifi switch. I’ve tested all my cables and confirm there are no faults. I have used UE300’s for all my era100’s, which make up most of my system. I’m getting SFP blocks on my Unifi switch and am unable disable WiFi on a couple of devices.  I have tried turning my WiFi off and watched my devices list on the Unifi app to see if the last few devices would disconnect but they still said they were connected some how. I’ve tried changing the WiFi password to trick them off the network before rebooting the devices and network. I’ve tried multiple times on the app to disable WiFi on the last couple of devices but they continue to say WiFi enabled or the option is blacked out.  I have tried deleting my WiFi network off of the Sonos app and it came back once I played music.  What do I need to do to create a hardwired system? Hi there,Just acquired a SONOS ACE. Great so far. Except when I tried to connect it to my TV settings. I have a Samsung the Frame 2022. Apparently my new ACE isn’t compatible with my “old” 2014 PlayBar... Very sad. But worth, I don’t see how to connect ACE directly to my recent TV The Frame… anyone knows how to solve that?

Sonos for Windows 11 starts but turns itself off while searching for system.  My system works fine with both the latest Android and iOS apps. I have tried deleting it, clearing the registry, restarting windows and downloading and reinstalling it on Windows but have the same problem.My network is set to “Private, and I have set a rule on my firewall, which is provided by Bitdefender.Any help would be appreciated

Hi, for the last 3 weeks or so Sonos is constantly dropping out and losing connection. Sometimes it skips through tracks, other times it just stops playing. I also can not connect to Sonos speakers via the Spotify app. This all worked before and we haven’t changed our internet setup. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to fix it? 

Does anyone know what these components are and if they’re replaceable? No power. Boo hoo. 

Because of the above fault i cannot use the device without it being plugged into the router via a Ethernet cable which is not ideal for us.Sonos has informed me the product is outside a warranty period and have offered a 30% of coupon if i return the product.I think it should be replaced. Any thoughts

Hi, I have a Samsung QE65S95FATXZT connected to a Sonos Arc through HDMI port #3 (ARC/eARC).When I use the native Disney+ app on the Samsung TV to play Dolby Atmos content, the Sonos app only shows “Multichannel PCM 5.1” instead of Dolby Atmos.TV Settings:Audio Out → Auto Anynet+ →  Active Dolby Atmos → Active HDMI eArc → Sonos ArcCould you please help me?Both Sonos and Samsung support keep blaming each other.

My Sonos system has aLiving room setup with a Beam, Mini-Sub and two Sonos OneSL (Gen 2) Kitchen with two Sonos One (Gen2) All running latest firmware All Sonos items connect via WiFi and all on the Main WiFi networkMy Network isAsus RT-AX86U Pro as the Main router which generally serves the Living Room Asus RT-AX86U as an AirMesh node in the Kitchen. All running the latest Asus firmwareAll works well, until I activate a Guest Network (with nothing attached to the Guest Network), then in the Living Room the Sub-Mini and a OneSL will drop off the network. The Beam stays on however and I think the other Living Room OneSL then connects via the Kitchen AirMesh node. The Kitchen system remain OK.To be clear all the Sonos speakers can only connect via the Main WiFi network and have never been on the Guest Network. So just having a active Guest Network is enough to mess up WiFi connectivity to those Sonos speakers normally served by the Main router, except for the Beam. Since the Omnishambles of May 24 the TuneIn integration has been hamstrung and it’s take WAY too long to fix.Issue 1: Navigating to a podcast and clicking on the text or play button adds the entire series to the queue, not just that episode. The episode plays, but I don’t want the whole series, just the one podcast as I may want to mix things up and listen to a number of different podcasts in a row. This renders the whole queue useless.Issue 2: If I long-press the text or play button I get the sub-menu up from where I can Play Now / Play Next / Replace Queue etc. This functionality works, I can use it to add individual podcasts to the queue. Yay! Only problem is they don’t play, and I get the “Couldn’t Play Content. Try Again” message.Issue 3: As of the last few days even if it’s a 20 min episode all I get is 45 seconds of adverts before it moves to the next episode in the queue and this is repeated.Bored of the UX issues now Sonos. It’s been over a year.
