Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi allLooking to enter the Sonos community, however want to ensure that this setup will work prior to purchase  Existing equipment - Apple TV, Projector (no arc)Looking to purchase -  Amp, in ceiling set & in wall set Q1 | Is the correct configuration to have this system work Apple TV → (via HDMI) HD Fury → (via HDMI) 1. Projector & (via HDMI arc) 2. Amp and if I were to include additional al equipment eg PC, Set top box then it would be a HDMI switch between Apple TV and HD fury Q2 | Is one or two amps required to support a set of ceiling and a set of wall speakers? 

I’ve had my Sonos connect and play 1 for years with no issues on Virgin broadband. I’ve just had a new router that looks identical to the old one but it can’t detect on Wi-Fi. It will play with an Ethernet connection but still can’t find  the Sonos to update the Wi-Fi. As soon as the ethernet cable is unplugged, it loses connection (obviously).  Anyone else had this problem? Might it be different software in the replacement router..

I get “operation failed” when I try to like a song on Pandora 

I have a gen 2 beam paired with a Era 300. During playback from my hisense TV I occasionally get a popping sound from the Era 300. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is anyone else having problems with Deezer in Australia attaching the service to their Sonos account ?

When I go to play Spotify on my era 100 I press the play button and it's skips through song like you are mashing the skip button. It stops after 10 seconds then will just not play any sound but is playing the song. Within the sonos app it also does this but instead afterwards it just don't not play, as it the play button does nothing. I have a strong internet connection, I've reset the speaker, reinstalled both Spotify and the sonos app. I've restarted my router. I've re linked the Spotify app to sonos. I am stumped.

Brand new sonos sub gen 4 bass keeps cutting out every few seconds. Can anyone help pls?

I have a Roam SL.  I am considering getting another Roam to form a stereo pair.  But I see that I can’t order SL now and Roam 2 is all I get.  Can Roam SL + Roam 2 form a stereo pair?

I have a Play:5. Setting up a new account, on a different iPhone. I keep getting the “Unable to create Sonos account” error. I’ve rest everything, still unable to create new account.

My Arc Ultra had very tinny sound. Like an old AM radio. I had Geek Squad install my TV. They heard the ARC and said some of its speakers were not working and told me to return it.  The second ARC was marginally better. Frankly, my Beam soundbar has richer, deeper sound.  Sonos support barely spoke English and was useless. I have too many Sonos products to go back to Bose, but I am tempted to return the Arc and start over. 

An S2 system that’s been working fine off the same Synology NAS for years. No network changes. Sonos reports that it can’t read the music files from the NAS share. Rebooted all round (inc network router) and readded the Music Library share. Connects ok, indexes all the files (Library contents are fine), but trying to play a track gives a file access error. I’m baffled.

Tv sound all of a sudden stopped playing through Beam. Tried all advice on here and settings still not work. It’s connected HDMI from beam to HDMI ARC on tv. Also Alexi stopped answering and playing tone.

I currently have in my Mancave a Playbar, 2 Play 3’s and a Subwoofer.  They all sound great.  In another room a floor away, I have 2 Play 5’s, Gen 1 -- well past their prime.  I have just now upgraded to Sonos FIves (but have not yet installed them) and my thought is to take the Play 3’s in the Mancave and move them upstairs and use the new Sonos Five’s in place of the Play 3’s as rear speakers in the Mancave. WIfe doesn’t like the size of the Play 5, Gen 1’s in “her space” anyway.  Smaller Play 3’s would probably be acceptable.  Conundrum is what to do with the existing Sub?  Can the new Sonos Fives co-exist with the existing Sub or is the Sub now useless.

ios app, changing volume or room assignments. hit apply and it reverts to where it was (imagine its way too loud and your wife is yelling turn it down). then the little circle spins and you cant turn it down. or off. its been years since they broke what was once a virtually bulletproof app. sonos will be primarily remembered as a case study of how poor management can utterly destroy a successful company.  

I'm using Apple Music with a Sonos setup consisting of Arc + Sub + two Era 300 speakers.When I play the following album, playback consistently halts mid-track, and the Sonos system becomes completely unresponsive—as if it's frozen. Does anyone else constantly have problems with their Sonos system disconnecting and constantly have to update network and is there a way to fix this?

I had 2 play:3s using S2 and ditched the bridge when I updated to S2 (years ago). One of my play 3:s died. I tossed it and purchased a used play 3 on ebay. Just received it, plugged it in and went to the app to add it but it never finds it. The white light flashes for about a minute and then goes solid. Some help I found online says to factory reset it by pressing and holding the button while plugging it in. I tried that but that did not change the behavior. While light flashes then goes solid. Don't know what to do. Please help!

Hello guys,I have been using Amazon Music Family and my Plex library for years with Sonos.Since a few weeks/months, the Sonos app won’t play any content I select from the Amazon library. Just an error message.I tried to re-authorize Amazon Music from my phone. The process went through. But again, after searching for a title to play, error message.I tried to suppress Amazon Music from the services, to add it again. Same issue.Suppressed again, and now, when I select Amazon, it says impossible ta parse music, one issue occured when connecting to Amazon Music (translated from french).My Amazon Music account is active I can play from the iOS app.Other issue: Plex ! Hi all,I’ve read that the Sonos combo adapter for the ERA 300 (which has both 3.5mm analogue and ethernet inputs) allows for direct streaming into the unit.  I’m assuming that this should allow for better quality music, as only the only conversion would be via the unit’s internal D-A.Does anyone have experience of this setup, and if so, have they had a notable improvement in music quality over Bluetooth 5, wi-fi 6 or 3.5mm audio input via Sonos adapter?
