Bridge was inadvertently unplugged. Now nothing is communicating so I’m guessing it goes to bridge/wifi. Quick fixes aren’t working. Any thoughts?
I’ve tried calling twice now and keep getting dropped after waiting 30 minutes each time.
Ok so been trying for 2 weeks to get hold of sales and technical support. Yesterday and day before was on hold for over 2hrs each and didn’t even make it to a person. Emails are unresponsive and so is messenger Support. I notice that this has been a major issue since as far back as 2010. What on earth is going on over at Sonos. They might want to think about employing extra customer service reps. I have already bought 8 exteriors speakers by another brand instead of Sonos and I’m tempted to just laugh off the other parts of the system. It also worry’s me that if I have a issue I won’t be able to get through to technical help at all. It seems they rely on this community of customers to give support which is ridiculous with the prices they charge. anyone have any advice on how to get hold of anyone before I just give up. thanks
I am due to renew my multiple sonos ZP100/120s a couple of play 5s and connects. I have one new AMP and it works ok, sound is better than before. However I am hesitant because I dont know if Sonos will brick hardware in the future. Am I better buying some quality amps to go with the speakers (instead of sonos AMP) and then using an alternative distribution system. It was nice when it was integrated but sound quality always suffered. Is there a better way now, could I even just live with Amazon Shows around the house and use spotify. I feel seperating hardware and network distribution is the way forward after we have seen Sonos’s true colours. To be honest I cant blame them as the old business model wasnt working - however i dont want to sink several thousand into this every few years. help/opinion appreciated.
It just never works - does anyone else have the same problem ?
I have logged on to Sonos and looked at the ‘Contact Options’ under Profile. Here there are two check boxes: Email and Sonos App . Both these boxes are unticked. (Perhaps they should be ticked? The interface is not clear.) I have also requested to unsubscribe from Sonos email. However, I am still repeatedly getting Sonos spam in the app and via email. Does anybody know how to prevent Sonos from sending out the SPAM.Thanks for your help.
This is more of a feedback/feature request. After adding some Hi-Res versions of music I already had low versions of in iTunes, I realized when looking the tracks up in a search. The file info is identical both in the Mac Controller and iOS controller. I suggestion, at least, an option to enable an audio quality info option that will allow us to see the file quality, i.e. FLAC, ALAC, Wav, 128mhz, 320khz. Sorry for the long sentence!
Should I put up my Sonos system up on eNay for 1/10 the price before they go bust? Your system isn’t reliable. Worse is your support now is even less reliable. Some genius guy in IT decided it’s cheaper to have a dumb chatbot who will ask 100 questions and get no answers. Then one tries to call you but I guess Sonos 2 isn’t working because you say you’re busy supporting that. But meanwhile you have no problem pushing new products like the radio. MSO now I have a 4 piece system and only one works. And I guess there’s no one to call and speak to. Sad when good ideas go bust due to lack of execution.
Hi, I’ve had my Sonos since about 2006/2007 and have it set up in 3 rooms with the old bridge system, there is nothing wrong with it but I would like to add a couple more rooms. How do I do this with the new system?

A customer called today asking if he was able to change the name of the Alexa voice service in his Sonos System since his daughter's name is Alexa and every time he calls her Sonos system got active. He said he was able to change it in his other amazon devices because he did and wanted to know if there was a way he could do the same with Sonos.Unfortunately, this option is not able for the Sonos system and the customer suggested doing it since he was not the only one that has the same issue and asked to please put this feedback on the community page.

I am having a very hard time getting support to communicate with me!
Hi, I think someone should really check the web site out and how it displays on ultrawide monitors. It’s absolutely shocking and almost unusable, and this is fully zoomed out!
Has Sonos ever thought of sending out user listening statistics - similar to what Spotify do?Then providing an option of a playlist using the songs I’ve listened to the most or ones I haven’t listened to for a while?I’d certainly use it - great bit of marketing and use of our data.
I received our ARC recently from a Best Buy online purchase and discovered the power cord was loose -- not remaining in its slot and so the device would not remain powered during the set up. Two days later (because we received it on a Saturday) I called Sonos support and was told to take a video of the cord jiggling to verify my story. I did so while on the phone and the Sonos employee told me a new cord would be mailed to me after my case was referred to the returns department. I was told to expect an e-mail from this department that would ask me to confirm my home address, and that this e-mail would give me the option of PAYING MORE to have this cord shipped faster. Three days later, no e-mail. I called support and was told the employee I spoke to neglected to forward my case to the returns department and so I must wait another 1-2 days for the shipping e-mail; and that (once I confirm my address) the cord would likely arrive in 2 weeks. I was told an expedited solution was NOT avail
After chatting with a Sonos rep on Sunday 10/25/2020, it was discovered through diagnostics that the WiFi card in my Sub (Gen 3) is faulty. I had only had the Sub for two weeks. I received an RMA email stating I’d receive a return label within 24 hours but did not come. I followed up via chat on Tuesday 10/27/2020 and was told it was coming. But it didn’t. I called Sonos on Wednesday 10/28/2020. Again, I was told I was in the queue and to expect it later that day. Nothing. So here I am, Thursday 10/29/2020 trying yet another channel hoping to find someone who can generate a return label. Is there anyone out there that can help? … BTW I have seen that this seems to be a shared experience across customers. WHY Sonos?!?! What is so hard about generating a return label with UPS? I’ve gone from a very satisfied customer to being pretty pissed off. Not sure I’ll be purchasing any other Sonos speakers. There is too much competition out there and experience matters too much to fail at an esse
Just a feature request. A simple way to adjust sound level on all speakers with one touch. So one touch to have same level on all speakers.
Has anyone else noticed the downtown in SONOS service? Wait times of 30-45 minutes, misinformation, inability to give accurate information on purchases/exchanges? I have experienced all and does not reflect well on an “engineering” organization. Last straw today: they requested all my shipping information (again) on an exchange they originally said was being delivered last Friday...
How do I make voice contact with customer support? Patience is wearing thin dealing with S2 app.
Hi,I'm trying to loging to the beta site to see what the next "assignment" is, but I keep getting a http 400 error. Are more people experiencing these problems?
I was a long time fan of SONOS, even after my Playbar broke down after 4 years. They sold me a refurbished Playbar for $160. All good so far. Now, 2 years later I had exactly the same problem with the Playbar. Trying to get in contact with customer service was terrible. Half our to an hour wait on the phone and getting disconnected while finally getting through. They told me they tried to call me back but never did. In the end a representative told me they wern't allowed to call back because they were too busy.I took matters in my own hands and opened up the playbar finding out 2 of the speakers inside are ripped. Pretty bad for a 2 year old Playbar. Wen't online and found the speakers for $14 each and changing them is a 10 minute job.I was planning to expand the SONOS speakers in our house but am looking into other brands now. Very dissapointed in SONOS which is supposed to be an A brand. Anyone having thoughts about that?
Sonos has three blogs. Only one of them has a functional RSS feed:Sonos Blog:Web: https://blog.sonos.com/RSS: https://blog.sonos.com/en/feed/ Broken. It’s just a redirect back to https://blog.sonos.com/enSonos Tech Blog:Web: https://tech-blog.sonos.com/RSS: noneSonos Developer Blog:Web: https://developer.sonos.com/blog/RSS: https://developer.sonos.com/blog/feed (works!)Can ya’ll please get these working so we can add these to our newsreaders?I love Sonos but not “open up three links manually every day to check for new content” love.
My Sonos system is setup in every room and also connected to the TV, sometimes it's blasting music non stop, other times it's playing as the TV sound bar. I notice that between acting as the TV bar and then playing music that the crossfade option turns itself off?! All of my playlists are set as alarms. Beyond changing up the playlists every one in a while, I have zero need to be in the Sonos app. And yet I find myself having to jump in to re enable crossfade. I note this issue has been floating around in the forum's since 2012. What's the go? Am I missing a key step or is something so simple and saving my preferences being overlooked?
