So I moved my speaker to another corner in my study and did a true play retune. I noticed I lost all the sub woofer sounds even though my sub mini and SL ones were operating it all sounded tinny. Tonight I did my third reset what I did do was move the sub mini to another corner an actual open corner of the room and did a true play retune then moved the sub mini back to the first corner in my room. The reset meant I had I lost my TV connection. So in order to retrieve everything back I had to turn everything off including the modem. I then restarted the modem followed by the TV once I got the TV going I restated the Arc and sub woofer simultaneously by turning the power points on. I then did the same with my two Sonos One SL speakers. I then physically placed the sub mini to the closer corner of my room. The difference was amazing it now sounds like I am in a movie theatre and action movies you can feel the sub mini reverberating throughout the entire room. I am providing this advice

So, after 3 failed attempts at using PayPal, Pay in 3 on the Sonos website, I have finally got it to work. Tech company, sells WiFi stuff etc etc. You'd think ordering something would be easy? No, not if using PayPal!I have serious doubts about my purchase, if a company this well known can't even fix their website payments it makes me worry about their products or what support there may be if something isn't right.Anyway, I did order eventually, and followed the instructions of previous frustrated customers. If trying to use PayPal pay in 3, place your order with a credit/debit card. Then when you get to review order, edit the payment method to PayPal. No problem after that. Customer experience trying to get this to work is absolutely shocking, I was at the point of refusing to ever buy a Sonus product due to pure frustration. Not a PayPal issue, the payment would sit as pending every time but doesn't create an order. Let's hope the product is decent, or

Not sure why I didn’t think of this last year, when my Playbase developed the known fault of not being able to connect to WiFi, but today, I moved my upstairs black BT disc (which is paired with my BT Smart HUB 2) to within ethernet cable distance of my bedroom Playbase and plugged the Playbase into the single ethernet port on the back. And hey presto! It’s back on my Sonos system! I had been just using it as my telly speaker without being able to see it or control it in the Sonos App. Now it is back!  I will keep an eye on it in the App to make sure it carries on behaving itself but I don’t see why it wouldn’t.  It’s nice to know that using these discs which only work with the BT Smart Hub 2, can accept a Sonos device plugged into the ethernet port on the back. 

I know this is a community forum and not santa‘s wish list center. But when it comes to sonos, I noticed, that sometimes you just need to leave your wishes somewhere.So here it comes: Updated Fives with upgraded chips, wifi and mics would be nice.And if you would drop updated Aces with better sound quality, sound swap for all speakers (and not just soundbars - my partner does not like my music taste) and maybe a hdmi dongle for atmos support  (if you don‘t have a soundbar) - I would be very tempted.

I would love to see a feature in this app that has a volume balance. That is to say, where you can have presets to have different volume balances to create an overall effect of immersion.

I love my Sonos speakers - I have a Beam, a Mini Sub, 2 Play 5s, and 2 Era 100s. They sound GREAT. When they work. Enter the Sonos ecosystem… the poor coding, the terrible user experience, the  shockingly bad UI. There is nothing more frustrating than a song that cuts out, except one where the speakers play intermittently. Because of this, I loathe Sonos as a company. I am appalled at the seeming hate that the Sonos product mangers, the software engineers, and the company management has for audiophiles; if not, please explain the volume slider that never starts at a synched volume and has to be manually adjusted, explain why SonosNet continually drops out while my WiFi does not but am yet unable to allow the Beam to talk to the Sub and Eras over WiFi? As of now, I no longer caution people who inquire of me if they should buy Sonos, I actively proselytize for anyone and everyone to please make better choices and buy some speakers with a functional ecosystem - again, the speakers soun

 It’s interesting how a topic can be closed before a fix is made.  I suppose because there was no activity the subject was not important enough which does make sense.  Seems there aren’t that many in this community that listen to gapless orchestral music in Atmos.   Trying to listen to Mason Bates: Anthology of Fantastic Zoology streamed from Apple Music in Spacial Audio.  The bumps at louder track transitions is very irritating.  Maybe this can’t be fixed.  Would love to know.

I would like to request a feature that allows users to enable full-range surround playback for TV input, similar to the option that already exists under Music Playback settings. Right now, Sonos allows surrounds to operate in either Ambient or Full mode when playing music directly through the app. However, when audio comes from a TV source, surrounds are limited to an ambient role for stereo content. This creates a noticeable limitation when using devices like Apple TV for music playback. Many apps, including Apple Music, output stereo PCM for content that is not available in Dolby Atmos. Sonos treats this as TV audio, which means the surround speakers only play ambient sound instead of full-range audio. As a result, the system does not fully utilize all speakers, and the listening experience feels much less immersive than it should. This is especially frustrating because Atmos content works correctly and engages the full system, while non-A

Is this happening to others???I placed an order on Sonos site on March 2nd to take advantage of 25% discound they offered via email. Received a CONFIRMATION with order number.When it didn't arrive in when expected, and their site's order tracking page failed to ever load, I bit the bullet and called them. The rep said that it never shipped, due to issue with credit card. I never received any kind of correspondence to let me know there were any issues.When I called Chase bank to see what may have happened, they had no record of any attempt to run my card.Either way, while I was on the phone with Sonos rep, I placed the order over the phone directly with that same rep, using my girlfriend's entirely different credit card. The rep gave me an order number and ensured me they would send a confirmation by email. Guess what? No email. And guess what else? Tracking page still doesn't load, and the rep I called again today could not find the new order number at al

Well, I bought into this SONOS system and it used to work awesome.  Now, it’s crap. Now I have all of these components and they're all as good as paperweights now.  I cannot get this BS system to work anymore for anything.  I have submitted diagnostics, well when the system will allow me to anyways, most the times I cannot even submit diagnostics because I can't connect to it or it just simply won’t let me.  I'm so frustrated with this system.  I have speakers in every room of my house and I sure wish I could control them.  My speakers drop off, one room will play one thing while the rest of the house is on something else or just gone.  I've spent time with the techs on the phone.  I've had to go to every single piece of equipment and unplug it and plug it back in. I just want to listen to music in my house but I guess I put all my money into the wrong system.  Anyone have a better system they are using now cause I'm ready to throw thousands of dollars away to get music in my house.

I would like to share some tips on some hardware issues I have faced, and seek clarification for some instructions posted by Sonos.  But every single discussion thread seems to be closed… what’s with that???

 A few times when I try to reply to a post the Send button fails to work.  Usually when, during the writing process, the attempt to add bold characters fails I can count on the Send button also failing to work.  Why is this?

I got this 25% discount offer (illustrated below) in the Sonos app but it never gets applied on the actual site. I got all the way to "place order" but nothing, no sign of any discount anywhere. Is this discount real or just yet another instance in an ever longer line of Sonos "app stuff that doesn't work"? If real then why isn't it being applied in any part of the purchase process?? (Yes I reached the site by clicking in-app & yes I am logged in.)

I currently have a Playbar, two Play:1s as surrounds , a Sub Gen 1 and another Play:1 in my wife's studio. If I replaced the Playbar with an Arc Ultra I believe I would have to replace the Play:1 surrounds but not the Sub. But would I still be bale to use the Play1 in my wife's studio and place the replaced surround Play:1s in other rooms of the house? 

Sonos constantly lies about sending return label. I’ve already contacted BBB, and they have many complaints about the same thing.  I was prepared to just buy a new Sonos but then was told it would be replaced and I would receive a shipping label. Turns out it’s a scam. I will not be replacing my items. I will be selling the working ones I have and will never buy another Sonos product again. #SonosLies

Beam (gen2) having popping noise issue  with erac HDMI and which restart itself once problem is faced. Intermittent. Connection is with Xiaomi s mini led 65" tv.Also have similar issue with tv box n ps5. Tried formatting, did power cycle also not use.

Hi folksi’m a sonos amp and sub user for more than 1 year and i think i’m going to leave the community because i realize Sonos is not really aware of what’s going on about music loverslet’s get an examplesonos app for the sonos amp is the worst app i ever seen .Since their update , we just deal with a 2 eq band ( i remember we had to “beg” sonos to re install the pan left / right  position on the app after the  update)  that is ridiculous in terms of music corrections .i think it’s not a professional  way of working with  music lovers who’ve invested in sonos products.so i ‘m about to leave and sell  my sonos products and move to a more professional music streaming company, this joke has lasted too long folks.S.

Solo para expresar mi absoluta decepción con SOnos y la perdida de casi 4.000 Euros en el sistema. Complicadísima la aplicación y nada que ver conn  lo que me explicaron al comprar sobre poder usar uno de los era 300 en potra habitación además de cuando quiera en el sistema con el resto. Para hacer esto hay que des¡configurar el sistema.Perdoida de tiempo y dinero y lo expresaré en todos los foros que pueda. Demasiado dinero para esto

I’ve owned Sonos on and off since the first generation...not even sure how far that goes back but nearly 20 years.I am just amazed that the company does not seem to be able to progress with the times. I just bought 8 WiiM mini’s for $80 each for my multiroom audio set up, connected to a $1000 16 channel amp. Does Sonos seriously expect me to buy 8 bulky $500 Ports instead to do this? The idea is absurd. Sonos, competitors are going to eat your lunch.Also I bought I Sonos Era 300 and the sound is awful. A $289 Adam T7V paired with an $89 WiiM mini is infinitely superior.So, good bye Sonos. 

The worlds most anoying app. Sonos have ruined the use of this feature. I can not recommend Sonos. They should soon get their app more userfriendly, it is almost impossible to use

I got a restaurant in the gothic district of Barcelona (Spain) since 2010 and I’ve gradually introduced Sonos in the bar and the main restaurant seating area back into 2016, with Sonos 1 speakers and two years later I’ve added the subwoofer. Sound always good until they introduced their disastrous app 2 years ago. Hardware is perfect, it was just a major software F…. Up and the perfect case study for failed corporate PR. I always had to justify to my employees why I was keeping Sonos. Bit by bit they improved the performance but 2 days ago I’ve checked for an update (I do it manually) and updated. The next thing is that I had never experienced such a STELLAR change in sound quality and moreover, the definition, details and 3D sound. All this with (still) 2 Sonos 1, subwoofer paired with them and a third independent Sonos era 100 behind the bar. So those 3 units create an incredibly more immersive sound. Even my waiters confirmed it. The other side of the restaurant is deserved by on
