Gone!Absolutely sick to death of my Sonos 1 speaker. It’s a pig to use.I got it as a free gift too and it WAS ONCE amazing, but since they RUINED the app it’s impossible to use.It now resides in the kitchen bin until Wednesday when it will be collected with all other recycling: empty tin cans, glass bottles, cardboard etc.Good riddance Sonos!!!!…ah, that feels better.

Unbelievably horrible. I have wasted several Friday nights trying to get my system to work. It works one day then is lost. Can’t wait for the class action lawsuit.
I just started using Sonos Move as my desktop PC’s speaker, and I’ve encountered an issue with it. Here is a description of how I encounter this problem:This issue is only for video media players (at least for YouTube- and Spotify videos). At the start of the video playback sound output has little to no delay and works correctly. When pausing the video, audio stops right away, and speaker functions correctly. However, when playback is resumed, there is no sound for the first 5-7 seconds of the video. This issue persists for every video player that I try to use Sonos Move with. Issue is not caused by my PC, as it persists on my mobile device.I tried searching online for an answer and tried contacting the customer support with no luck. It’s a shame, that this issue stops me for using this speaker as my PC’s speaker and I’d really hope it gets solved. I really like the sound quality and versatility of this speaker, but this video playback issue keeps me from using it with my PC. :(
I’d like to suggest that an option is provided to allow a pair to be switched from stereo to dual mono. I know I can separate the pair to get this effect but it’s not straightforward as both speakers have Alexa enabled. Separating things confuses the setup when reconnecting the pair. I have two Ones in the kitchen and on a nice day I relocate one to the bottom of the garden.
Very displeased, So by some reason my internet provider is not working, but I have the wifi (in my house) working properly. Now if you want to use your Sonos equipment is useless, because the system won’t work or stream.its ridiculous!! You can stream AirPlay, ok as a resource solution, but why can’t you connect to Sonos, and use the speakers normally? (Independent of having internet signal or not!?) Shamefull…
I know this is not helpful, and I apologize for it: it’s just a rant. But I am sick and tired of frequently having to “reauthorize” my sources. My main only remaining sources are TuneIn, Apple Music, and Hearts of Space (I deleted my other sources, as trying to maintain them was just too much trouble); and every time I try to play one of them on my Sonos speakers it is a gamble whether it’s going to just work, like it’s supposed to, or whether I’m going to be told that my authorization has mysteriously “expired” and that I have to “reauthorize” the source. And when I’m told to “reauthorize”, it is even more of a gamble whether I’m going to be able to do that without Sonos giving me the mysterious “Something went wrong” chant. I see from https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/the-new-sonos-app-and-future-feature-updates that Nick Millington knows that these items need to be high on the new app’s to-do list:Replacement of vague errors when the app cannot connect to Sonos, or when softwa
Ich kriege meinen arc nicht mehr mit der sonos app verbunden. Arc vom Strom getrennt. Router neu gestartet. Handy neu gestartet. Trotzdem klappt es nicht
About three monhs about the sonos app stopped remembering where I left off when stopping in the middle of an audible book. How do I fix it?
Hi all just a general question. Lately using my NAS drive, with many years of music. Ripped from cd's downloaded. Question is how do I sort the different levels from them? Some of my early cds, lower level Compared to newer ones. Thanks
Just received my Sonos ace headphones, they are completely flat with no charge, and none of the USBC chargers I've tried will charge them. The orange ligh comes on, then goes off. I've even tried charging them from my laptop and my mobile phone, and get the same. If I hold the button in, the start up sound begins and then cuts off. I wish I'd researched these more, they're going straight back to Sonos, I can't even register them on the app to reset them, very disappointed 😞..
I’m incredibly disappointed that after years of this known bug, nothing has been done on Sonos’ end to rectify it. Here’s the issue: I have an 85” Sony TV, an Apple TV and the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) paired with a Sonos Mini Sub and two One SL’s for surround sound. If I’m using Apple Music on my Apple TV it sounds great! Until I try to pair what’s happening in the living room with my bedroom and office speakers. The bedroom and office speakers, one Sonos Roam that moves around the house and two Play 1s, the audio will experience dropouts in the bedroom and office. No dropouts in the living room, only those other two rooms (three speakers.) In the past, when chatting with support, I’ve been told that my wifi is the issue. Which is a bull**** response - I’ve never had any issues with my wifi aside from the occasional having to turn the router off and back on again. In other conversations I’ve been told it’s a known bug/issue. My workaround for music has been connecting to my Sonos Roam
I recently found the perfect solution for a smaller room in the house; creating a zone with my Sonos Five and Sonos Era 300 for easy connectivity and playback. I recently purchased a Sonos Mini Sub in an attempt to add it to the zone via the Sonos Era 300. Turns out that you cannot have any subs in the zone. I added to the sub with my Sonos Era 300 and settled with grouping the Five in each time I use the speakers. It would be much easier if the Sub was able to be connected to one of the speakers and also allowed to be added to the zone together. This would subtract the need to group my speakers together every single time I want to use them. Please add this feature!

There have been requests to implement TruePlay multi-profile so far, but the reason it hasn't been realized is because the flash memory in the soundbar can only store one Trueplay profile. So here's one idea to work around this limitation: store the TruePlay profile in the cloud, either in the smartphone app or in your Sonos account, rather than in the soundbar. Then, when the user wants, we can transfer the profile we wants from the cloud to the flash memory in the soundbar, overwriting the profile stored in the soundbar.
The Idea is to have a different led color to show speakers are grouped. We group from time to time and then when someone stops playing the whole group stops. If you visually see the Sonos is grouped you know you need to ungroup.
Normally you can unmute a muted single room and also a muted group of rooms by moving apps volume slider. Latest Android app for that works like expected, but latest iOS app doesn’t and I suppose it’s a bug. @Corry P or another mod… can you confirm if it’s a known issue? Using volume slider for a single room or main slider for a group of rooms doesn’t work. Just using the room slider of a room that is part of a group will unmute this single room. On Android it works in any case. Here‘s a video of my iOS app (latest version) on iPhone 14 (latest iOS version). Using iPad 10 it’s exactly the same. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ynvt2pcu6nscpbdl9f4gk/Video-26.04.25-23-29-36.mp4?rlkey=j29oka3gk537rumrcdv4g4s51&e=1&st=u4lre1i1&dl=0
the app is crap and continues down the spiral. trying to control the volume of multiple speakers simultaneously by using the “main” volume controller and i get to watch the volume level of the individual speakers go all over the place. sometimes an individual speakers volume controller button doesn’t populate, just a grey line where the speaker volume button and volume level should be showing. Crap. All these speakers in my house. Don’t buy these products. The company has gotten to big for its own good. i was an early adopter, having purchased my first speakers at least ten years ago. the last two years have been a struggle and i regret the investment.
We bought this from Best Buy and happy with everything about it. But a week ago where we had a blackout, power and internet was out for a bit. After that, my other Sonos automatically reconnected except for my Ray. I tried resetting it, playing with the app to see if I missed a step, unplugging power then holding reset button then replugging power over and over and still nothing. It doesn’t seem to want to connect? I bought this a few months now and don’t have a receipt anymore as I find Sonos really indestructible besides their sound quality. I think I’m in a pickle now, this is my first time experiencing this. The unit cannot be discovered, cannot be reset, just an endless white blinking light no matter what you do?
When I watch TV, football, the announcers volume is fine but when the referee speaks, I can hardly hear them; Same with crowd noise, barely audible. Is this an Ultra malfunction or a setting?
See pic. They currently have the system setup to connect to their hotspot as the internet isn’t installed yet. It’s playing through the speakers but won’t allow EQ adjustments. I believe they are streaming Spotify currently.
The Ace have a markedly better sound profile that my AirPods Max (AM); however the precision of the AM’s volume control, especially at the lowest volumes, is peerless. It is quite granular and decreases to the point of barely hearing sound. This allows me to read, write, reflect, or sleep without intrusion. The lowest volume level on the Ace headphones is far too intrusive for the quiet enjoyment of one's music during said activities, which is a real shame (and perhaps not a priority for Sonos given the recent app debacle). I wear ANC monitors to shut out not create distractions, so it pains me to say that I may end up returning these despite my deep appreciation of their sound profile.I would note that other OEMs (eg, Bose QC Ultra earphones and earbuds) have the same issue, but I expect better from a more expensive product. This feedback relates specifically to my use of the Ace headphones with my iPhone and iPad. I received and updated my Ace headphones today, which means that for me
I would like to see in the Sonos app more detailed information about the playing signal from apple music instead of just „lossless“ or not. As there is a 3rd party app called „Bops“ for Apple TVos that is able to get this information from Sonos system I think it’s available and delivered by Apple. Maybe Sonos needs Apples permission to show it… so my wish is Sonos to ask Apple or also other services. Amazon Music is great and shows HD, UHD or nothing.
I have almost completely stopped using all my sonos products except my Roam and the only reason i use that one is its bluetoothI have an Arc two play ones and so frustrated with them not working correctly and speaking to useless tech support and getting nowhere !1-Voice control on either Alexa or Sonos own voice control just stopped on its own and i have to reset my unit every time I want to use it.2-The app asks me to sign into my account every time i want to use it. 3-The controls from my phone to the Sonos system are so slow.I use to be a huge fan of Sonos and considered them above all. Now i wouldn't recommend them to anyone ! buy a Bluetooth speaker - much better off !
I have a updated port that has a reduced line output. My amp GUI tracks this and I'm down 12db. Has anyone else seen this? This port runs a good size outdoor sound system. So, it's a struggle getting enough source.
