I am grateful that Sonos recently added lossless support on Apple Music. But it would be nice to also have the option to disable lossless for users who are experiencing streaming issues. I have a pair of Era 100s and Sub Mini that are pretty far from my router so they don’t have the most reliable WiFi connection. Before lossless support was added, I could stream Apple Music to these speakers with little to no issues. Now I can’t stream a song without the audio dropping out completely or skipping to the next song.

EQ does not work on my Sonos Five Era 100 after doing Trueplay and trying to increase the bass there is no change nor in the loudness, my version is also 16.3.3, I confirm that there are problems with the EQ option.The EQ does nothing when moving it, nor does the loudness and it does not save itself either, and this apparently is the case with all the speakers.Even if you turn off Trueplay the EQ doesn't work or saves either.

Add Sonos feature to be able to see the song playing while iOS lock screen is on.  Having to pick up my phone to unlock it to view song/artist every time is wasteful and tedious.  

My buddy Reno refuses to upgrade his iPhone to os 18.1 because he claims it will cause the Sonos app to no longer function and he will be unable to use his system (eras and an arc). He refused to just play music through Apple or Spotify because he is equal parts stubborn and dumb. My group chat is not a green text hellscape because of this issue. Is Reno dumb or does he have merit? If the latter, what is solution? 

Since I upgrade to latest macos 15.01 the mac cannot see anymore the sonos device.the message says “cannot connect to device”. I Updated it to the latest sonos version. It works on IphoneI tried with the support all tests without success 

In an effort to get Music Library working the way it seems to for other people, i decided to remove and re-install he app rather than upgrade.  I removed the apps from my iPhone and iPad, and laptop and lest it “rest” for a few days before installing.   When I installed the new app I was surprised to see it knew where my library was (on my local NAS). How?  And how can I remove it so that I can truly reset it with nothing hanging over into the new installation?

Continuing problems with Sonos For a number of weeks now the software on my laptop is showing as an update available but repeated efforts just show ‘The Sonos controller failed to install. The rest of the update cannot continue’I’m becoming increasingly frustrated after spending a small fortune on Sonos speakers, subs etc. Any help would be appreciated. 

Since the new Sonos app update ( May’24) I can longer play all “top tracks” from an artist search on tidal. It will only play one song. The same goes for artist radio on tidal it will only play the first song you pick. Previos Sonos app would automatically play each song one after the other. This is something I use all the time. I opened this same complaint back in May/June and there has still not been a fix or an answer other than a workaround to cast from inside of tidal. Unfortunately that work around does not always work.  How hard is it to fix artist radio to play as a queue instead of just the first song???

I can’t seem to get this lousy app to work on my iPhone 18.1. Always ask me to set up my network time after time. I’ve been using the Orto app to run my system.  I also use my older iPad to run the system. In this day and age, why can’t a company like Sonos not get this right? I will never recommend Sonos to anyone ever again. Hello Bose. 

“Sign in as the System Owner to see context”. A minor annoyance but the old App was still better.   This happens every morning with the new App.  Sonos, go back to the drawing board! 

HII’m experiencing a new issue today, The Now Playing screen is taking a long time to show the song which is currently playing.  Instead, it is showing the previous song, with that song’s progress bar at 100%. Eventually (up to a minute later), it catches up with itself.This used to happen when the new app was released, but it settled down. Now it has returned.If it helps, I’m listening to the Flow function on Deezer.

Recently I've found that certain albums are available through the YouTube music app, but all songs in the album are “greyed out” if you search the album through Sonos. I see the question posted previously but the discussion is closed and there is no fix!is the button going to be added as it used to be?  I have way too much music to add it all to a que. I get an error saying there isn’t enough room in the app. I have plenty of hard drive space. 

Hi all,Appreciate that this is a topic that is done to death. As an android user it is frustrating that you cannot perform Trueplay tuning but I do understand the complications surrounding the various mics. A number of solutions have been put forward, external mics being one of them which got me thinking that most Sonos speakers already have a microphone fitted.This got me thinking if it could be possible to use something like a Sonos Roam, which would have a known microphone fitted, to perform the truplay tuning? I guess the complicated part would be how does that feedback to the app but there must already be communction between the app and the hardware. Maybe a solution? 

I did not think this was supported before, due to Apple.  For example, I once asked a BluOS dealer why they force you to AirPlay if you want to listen to Apple Music and they said it was because Apple does not support lossless streaming to non-Apple devices, only 256kbps AAC.I have an Era 300 and it's logged into my Apple Music account, like before.  But now on the new app when I see what the speaker is playing it now says “Lossless”.  I don’t remember ever seeing that before.  So…. am I now getting lossless music to my Era 300? 

I have no idea why this should happen!I haven’t used SONOS for three weeks, but last night I tried to play some music, but alas, the Music Library has disappeared from my SONOS system.It took me a lot of effort to originally install it - so this is frustrating.The Music is on a Toshiba Hard Drive connected to my desk top computer.I have the SONOS app on my desk top - I click on Settings>Music library settings> Add> Another folder or drive connected to my computer> Browse> click on the drive >Next - and then receive the message “Unable to add the shared folder  (xxxxx )  to your music library (913)” Any advice on how a why the folder cannot be added would be appreciated. Kind Regards,

I can’t seem to figure out how to make my Sonos groups visible to AirPlay. Please help!

How do I delete unused rooms from my app?

I have a new router and all my equipment switched but not Sonos Speakers.  I uninstalled it then re-installed now you can’t get it to open.  This is awful.

It’s been months, and honestly since the app update, the app will show the music is playing but there is no audio coming out. I have to group the speakers to get the audio to start playing again and then after a few hours the audio will stop again.  I’ve re set, re booted, changed the wifi, re set the wifi, re downloaded the app, alternated the wifi channels on the app, sent diagnostics, asked for help in the chat and nothing has resolved. I’ve never had this issue but for months I cannot get them to consistently play anymore.  Chat keeps telling me “everything shows it’s up to date and fine” but it’s been not working for a while and I’m out of ideas. Any one else have similar issue? 

The option to select ‘My music’ from my own music library has disappeared from the Sonos app.  I can no longer find my own music library.

Is anyone else experiencing a slow startup with their Sonos app? 

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the latest update of your app. Since the update, I have encountered numerous issues that have severely disrupted my experience:Speaker Detection Issues: The app intermittently fails to detect my speakers. They appear and disappear at random, making it impossible to manage them effectively. Grouping Problems: When I try to split the music in one room from the group, the remaining speakers stop working and cannot be re-grouped. This has rendered the multi-room functionality unusable. Hi,After spending more than two hours with Sonos ‘tech support’ and being shunted to Windows 11 tech support between the two, I am frustrated by Sonos in general, and my issue remains. I have many Sonos components that work well on my Android Galaxy S22. Sonos on my PC does not load. I have uninstalled the application using Windows uninstall and also using Advanced Uninstaller Pro 13. I’ve deleted the Sonos folder at ‘Local Disk (C:)/Program Files (x86)/Sonos’ and even tried manually deleting the folder's content. After all the uninstalls, I restart my machine. Also, I ran Win11_24H2_English_x64.iso, then reinstalled Sonos for Windows from the support page - Sonos_81.1-58074.exe.After doing this sequentially several times, I end with the same result. I have a shortcut on the desktop, a Sonos icon in my Start Menu, and a Sonos.exe file in ‘Local Disk (C:)/Program Files (x86)/Sonos’.
