Why can’t I use Trueplay on my new iPad 2024, 13”. When I used to be able to use it on my old iPad Air which was nearly 10 years old?
Is it a supported device?
There is always a delay after a new Apple pad/phone is introduced before it supports Trueplay. Sonos will execute multiple tunings over multiple devices (likely hundreds) in order to characterize the acoustic performance of the new device. Typically this has required a few weeks. This process cannot start until the phone/pad is released into the marketplace.
M4 gen 7 pro was released in May 2024. Surprised it’s not supported yet.
This is diabolical - I had a iPad 2018 but the speaker was borked so couldn’t get it to do the truplay. I have an android phone. No dice! Now I have a 2024 iPad Pro - still can’t true play this is such BS
And there isn’t anyone around you could invite for tea and use their iPhone to Trueplay?
I also have a 2024 iPad Pro. I’m not sure how popular this model is. It’s possible that unless it becomes popular enough, Trueplay will never be configured for us.
