Controllers and Music services

Having the same problem as other posters. I cannot play anything from my Apple Music collection through the app. It buffers endlessly or does not respond at all.  But I can stream via airplay to my One SLs, sub and arc. Other sources work fine through the app - Sound cloud, Sonos radio, Spotify, etc.  This problem arose some time in the last 6-8 weeks because that was the last time I used the system and it worked fine then. 

Updated today to 80.15.01 Android + the latest update on the SONOS Beam Controller.I have my Music Library on a DLNA server (Twonky) in my local LAN.I still encounter queue-related issues:browse to Music Library → Albums: I can, indeed add an entire Album to the currently playing queue browse to Music Library → Folders: I cannot add a folder to the currently playing queue (exactly like in my other post where I reported this) browse to Music Library → Imported Playlists (where I see the .m3u files that I have in my library) go to one playlist, hit play: it works fine go to another p

Have iTunes library on NAS - can access and play songs by Songs, Artist, Album, etc. but Playlist does not work.  I see all Playlists and songs within in but when I try to play, I get message that says “unable to play song as share on NAS does not exist”.   Again, I can play songs by individual songs, albums, artist, genre but when trying to play songs in a playlist, get error message.

By far the most useful way I found to create a playlist was to build the songs in the queue, listen to them and shuffle the order until I was satisfied  and then save the playlist. will this capability be returning?

The new app is taking shape nicely and I'd say its now functionally almost matching the old app (and of course it looks better and is 'modern'). But there are still some little gripes that I'd like to feedback to Sonos:1) When entering the queue it takes you back to the top instead of where the current song is being played. Gets very tedious when you have a long list. Would love to see an Apple Music style queue where tracks already played are hidden but you can always scroll back if you want to replay that song thats stuck in your head again....and again.... and again… 2) When I want to play 'My station' from apple music on the home screen it always fails (error). I have to go to services > apple music and play it from there every time. Could be widespread to all stations but I haven't tried. Another little annoyance.  3) Album art seems to drop in and out of existence. 4) Search. When searching it would be great to set a service

I can start Spotifyplaylists playback on livingroom speakers, but after one or two songs, it just stops playing the next song. When I then manually skip to the next song, it will play it and then stop again.I tried re-adding/reauthorizing Spotify service but this didn’t help. I also don’t think its a networking/router issue since it plays fine after manually going to the next track. 

I am running an android phone and installed the new app last week. Ever since, it has been taking 5 minutes or more just to start the app. It is unusable. I have tried clearing cache and clearing all data then connecting it again, but still no difference. The old app loaded in seconds. Is anyone else finding this?

I have an Apple Music playlist with approximately 1200 songs.  When I shuffle play the list on Sonos, it only utilizes the first 200’ish songs (alphabetically songs beginning with A-E).   How can I get Sonos to recognize and utilize the entire playlist?

Is there a way to disable in-app advertising?  Every time I open the app, there is an add right in the middle of the screen.  This space should be utilized for my most commonly used features.  Can you please make the advertisements opt-in?  Or at least move them away from the most precious real estate in the application?  I promise you, they are having the opposite effect of making me want to buy more of your products.

When is it planned to add support for RadioTunes/DI or customURL in S2? I am not referring to TuneIn - I don’t want to use another service to use another service, I want to use, directly, the URLs that RadioTunes offers me, although a proper integration would be better.

I have a somewhat large music library of about 40000 tracks on a networked drive. Since May 2024 I have struggled to play segments of this library, on shuffle, using any combination of apps available to me. I have mobile (Android), desktop (Windows) and web.I don’t think I need to go into the performance of the mobile app (updated to most recent version).The desktop app, which I have been using as a failsafe since the library fix last fall, is finicky and has decided it wants to do a continuous loop of asking to update the firmware although I am on the latest version. When I say yes to updating it tells me I am updated already. I have to exit and re-open multiple times to get it to (re-)work correctly (often while music has already started playing).The web app currently works the best of the three for basic music functioning (play, forward, back, volume, skipping) BUT then the queue is useless as it does not keep up with what is currently playing - there is no t

I know that the Sonos does not want to give any support for Tunein therefore I’ve decided to try with SonosRadio, for which I hope Sonos IS RESPONSABLE of the development.But the problem is always the same. I try to listen to italian Radio24 station, but when it tries to connect to the streem it says “welcome to tunein” 😶. after that silence and then the same loop “welcome to tunein”.To find the radio go to “sonos radio” > explore radio > by place > Europe > Italy > Lombardia > Milano > Radio 24The diagnostic nuber is: **********.BTW, if I connect with Tunein app or the radio24 app, connected to the same wifi as my sonos beam, the streams work without any problem.Moderator edit: recorded and removed diagnostics number, combined posts.

How do you hook your sonos beam bluetooth two a samsung s24  

I just updated to the latest app (80.18.27) and I’m no longer able to set a sleep timer when listening to content from Audible. The … button in the bottom right of the player screen is no longer showing. Listening to local library content, or other services (tested with BBC Sounds and Sonos Radio) the … button is shown on the player screen and it is possible to set a sleep timer.  

Just started with Sonos - took me hours to realise that Bluetooth stops on the ERA100’s when wifi was used to set up the surround sound system.  Surround sound is my main use of the system and I’m very happy with that, but on occasions would like to play music held on my android phone - so far my hours have fiddling & resetting have only given me one or the other.  Are there any simply ways to switch between surround sound from TV to music from the phone?

Both the alarm screen as well as the "enter share info" modal prompt for confirmation when navigating back regardless of whether any changes have been made in the first place, as well as when the "save" button was actually pressed right before.This is independent of how back navigation is invoked (back button on modal, close button on modal, back swipe gesture). 

I’m considering paying for the Sonos radio subscription. I already pay for ITunes and SoundCloud streaming. I like the Sonos stations. My big hesitation is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to listen to Sonos radio outside of my house. Is there an app that would allow me to access my subscription while on the road?

Is there a way to listen artist curated radios like Third Man Records Public Address System on older products which are controlled by Sonos S1?

Launched the app on my iphone this morning and all my favourites (radio stations from various sources) have all disappeared. Instead, is a handy “tip” explaining how to save favourites.Has anyone else experienced this? How do I get my favourites back?

Every time I use Sonos with YouTube on my Mac then I go back to Apple Music within Sonos on my phone, the zone I was using with YouTube is missing. I have tried quitting Sonos app and unplugging speakers in the missing zone.  Eventually it comes back but sometimes now for days.   Others can use the zone with Apple Music and airplay 

I have been having problems with Apple Music dropping out randomly across various speakers in my 9 speaker system.  I followed the Sonos support process…first the chat bot who referred to an online chat with a person, who referred me to calling the tech support to actually speak to a person. Still no resolution other than to say I need to eliminate interference from networks in my house by moving my network to bridge mode. Sounded odd as the Sonos devices are pointed at a specific network, but Sonos were not accepting any other approach. 3 hours of my life I’ll never get back! $300 of network consulting to re-configure the network and guess what……no improvement. Another call to Sonos tech support and the next consultant advises (with some coaxing) that there’s a known bug with Apple Music and numerous customers have the issue. My device is Sonos Five. I know that streaming is supported up to 16 bits/44,1 kHz in Tidal. My question is: if I connect my phone/computer to Sonos Five via line in, do I get 24 bits/48 kHz quality? Tidal app shows the "Max" text in yellow, however I am not sure if Sonos re-converts it to 16 bits/44,1 kHz while on line in.

Hi community, As of yesterday, the cruise control station doesn’t play anymore and is giving an error: “cannot play content. Try again later”. I am a Sonos radio HD subscriber. Does anyone know if there’s any information published anywhere regarding which radio stations are actually available or when someone else makes any changes to their library of stations? It’s one of our most used stations so hoping that it’s a temporary issue on Sonos server side   Cheers in advance. 

I have 2 new Move speakers and they are the only ones recognized by the app. The other speakers were working flawlessly up until yesterday.
