Everyone is posting about the new app released May 7. My app store shows no update. Am I the only one. There is only 2.5 hrs left in the day!

I was excited about the new controller assuming that of course we’d finally get lock screen and watch controls (iOS).Is it really that impossible? This should be the absolute top priority to add this.

I spent 2 hours this morning with Sonos and SiriusXM trying to resolve an issue with how SiriusXM channels are displayed in the Sonos App. After the usual stuff (uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, etc...) Sonos ran a screen share and could clearly see that the Sirius channels are not being displayed properly. Sirius claims that this issue is on the Sonos end. To their credit, Sonos did temporarily log into their Sirius test account (via screenshare) within my Sonos app and their Sirius stations were displaying.Sirius seems to think this is an issue with how Sonos is handling the channel lineup info being delivered to them from Sirius. Seems right to me although that doesnt fully explain why the Sonos test account worked but my account didnt. Anyway, after numerous call backs I got tired of helping two large companies solve problems that they should be able to do without irritating their customers are wasting our time.Next step is to consider an alternative way to p

How do you access the new web app on a computer?

My setup: Beam 2 + 2 x One SL.I got Plex to play my local FLAC files.If I play high-res files (FLAC), it’s working fine.If I play 44.1/16 bit files, it says that it lost connection to Plex (through the Sonos app). Playing the files through the Plex app or in the browser works just fine.Any idea what’s wrong?

I’m sure I once came across a setting where i could control the increments on volume when pressing volume on my iPhone. For instance a press would be 1,5 or 10 % increments. I’ve searched high and low for that setting but cannot find it. The steps are far too large, especially at very low volumes. 

After playing a record on the turntable I tried to switch to the radio, but on the Sonos app the only sources showing were the old TuneIn and Music Library. New TuneIn, Apple Music, and Sonos Radio had disappeared. When I tired to select my local NPR station from the old TuneIn I get the message “Unable to Play the Radio station.” I get the same error message when I try to select another radio station,I have had the turntable for a little more than a week. Otherwise it works well.

Years back Sonos introduced “their own” Windows Music Library Sharing (disambiguation: the SonosLibraryService) as part of the Windows Desktop client. I believe this was rolled out shortly after S2 arrived, at the time when many of us were highlighting the awkward reliance on SMBv1. SonosLibraryService creates a Sonos-only HTTP (or is it HTTPS?) share, tho’ don’t quote me on that. In any case, this solution works easy-peasy.So amongst the breaking “thou shall not use SMBv1 or HTTP!” brouhaha, the QUESTION is “IN or OUT” for SonosLibraryService on a forward going basis?And if the answer is “IN”—which would be copacetic from my perspective—how will SonosLibraryService be installed/updated given that the Windows Desktop Client is being taken out and shot?

Not using Spotify but still see internet calls every minute out to Spotify   

We control our Sonos system using Alexa which is linked to my Amazon account. My wife has now taken a subscription to Spotify linked to her own email address. My question is can we link her Spotify to the shared Sonos system?It would be nice if Sonos had a family concept as does amazon prime.ThanksDewi A Williams 

Recently I’ve had an issue where I select a streaming radio station, let’s say CBC (I’m in Canada), it will play a different radio station, often one that was playing before like KEXP. It will display the graphic from the radio station I’ve selected but play a completely different stream.Usually if I stop and close the app and re-open it it seems to realize what’s going on and play the correct stream but it often takes a couple of tries. I’ve been using Sonos for quite a few years and this is a new issue.Has anybody else had this happen?   

How do you force the app to reboot. Did standard reboot does nothing. Can not connect to any of my speakers

I have six first generation and two 2nd generation  speaker on a single network, I have just purchased a sonos device which is not compatible with the S1 controller. I have created a second account but when I try and log-in to set the device up I keep getting same screen telling me Sonos found on xxx network which include products not compatible with S2 controller and you have two options1. Open S1 to control or update the system2. Set-up a new system with the S2 appI seem to be stuck in a loop and can't get passed this screen.

All my speakers have disappeared from Spotify and I have been unable to get them back. I tried reauthorizing Spotify in the Sonos app, I rebooted the router and I rebooted one speaker to see if that would resolve the issue.  I also checked to make sure there were no pending updates. Nothing has worked. This is happening on both the mobile and desktop apps. Everything works fine on the Sonos mobile and desktop apps. All speakers show as connected to the system on the Sonos app. Any ideas how to resolve this? It just started happening a couple of days ago.

I’m trying to add an S2 Speaker.  Downloaded the S2 App and I cannot progress past the screen that requires a subscription monthly/lifetime.  I don’t want a subscription.  Just want to add my new speaker.  Can someone help?

Previously selecting Napster/my music/my artists/some artist used to show a list of albums that I had added to the Napster library.  After recent updates (not sure when) it now goes directly to the artist page without showing the album library information.  If I go on Napster directly it still shows albums I have added in the Music in Library section correctly.Is this functionality that is gone forever?  It was one of the main reasons I have stuck with Napster on Sonos because I like to listen to full albums and finding them sorted by artist makes sense.thanks in advance for any responses

Just got an email from Sonos on the above topic. Not sure how it will affect me. All my music is stored on a memory stick attached to my router which is always on unlike my computer.Is this about to stop working?If so, what is the simplest way to set up my music library? Regards

Hiya - can I play an app that has podacst music on it Sonos? I can't find anywhere to do it and doesn't show up in any search through SonosTIA

I have three pairs of Play:3’s and an Ikea Symphonisk Frame speaker. All updated to their latest versions, and running on the latest S2 control software on an iPhone. I normally manage my music library in Apple Music, adding tracks or albums there, and then any additions sync across to my Sonos library. All was working until about two or three weeks ago. Now if I add a track or album to my Apple Music library, it does not appear in the Sonos library. I have managed to get it to resync by deleting the Sonos app from my phone, then reinstalling the Sonos app. This sometimes restores the missing music, but not always. But it does not make the syncing work again, so any newly added music won’t sync. I'm finding this very frustrating as I can’t reliably play any new music from Apple Music. Any suggestions appreciated. 

I’ve recently had a new WiFi router. I have connected my Sonos One to the new network and enabled Alexa, Spotify, Amazon music etc. if I ask Alexa to play a radio station, it responds normally ….”playing Planet Rock from Rayo” for example, but then it doesn’t play anything.

Hello, I recently had Sonos setup in my home and the Pandora service was missing from the list of services.  The technician told me there are issues with Pandora and Sonos at the moment and that I should just wait for you all to get it sorted out.  However, when I search on your site it doesn’t seem that is accurate.  Is Pandora available or not?  If so what can I do to access it?

I use an older iPhone to control my system when I am using my newer phone for other activities. It has no sim card, just connected to network.  Only music and book programs on i-6.  I downloaded the Sonos app. Because phone is older, it won’t update to newer software but just reverts back to older version. That has not been a problem for a couple of years.  Everything worked as expected. I replaced a Sonos Roam today and now when I start the app it starts then crashes. It shows as active when i go to close apps but when I close and reopen it keeps doing same thing.  I have unloaded and reloaded software multiple times. I have rebooted the phone multiple times. I’ve even reset the iPhone. the App works fine on my iPhone 13.  Any thoughts
