HiTuneIn had a promo last week, offing Premium for £39.99 for the year instead of £79.99, so i decide to bite. I have it set up on Sonos but it’s a bit “weird”,a dn I don’t know if it’s user error, TuneIn issue or Sonos issue.For example, if I click Browse Genres I get “no selections are available”, same for “Find your decade & genre station”. But if I click Music then Top Music Genres then Country then Top Country I can see some stations. And I can also click Music then Top Music Genres then 80’s then Premium Stations I see Nation 80s (and nothing else).I have clicked Reauthorise.Many thanks Jim

S1 will not play on Truenas 13.  You can see your music however it wont play. Gives you an access denied. Roll back to Truenas 12. Issue resolved.

Hello guys, l have read the Sonos website compatibility list for the latest version of True play (S2) Version.  The website states that it is not compatible with  the following Ipad Pros.Not supportediPod touch (7th generation) iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) iPad Pro 11‑inch (3rd generation) iPad Pro 11‑inch (4th generation) iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (5th generation) iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (6th generation)But l cannot find out if true play, (the latest version) works with the first generation Ipad Pro 12.9 with ios 15. If someone has an old Ipad Pro generation 1 could test it for me and let me know, lt would be most appreciated.Thank youRob

Hi,I am using Apple Music and actually I have noticed that a lot of playlists are missing in Sonos - in the native apple music app there are lot more resuts showing than in Sonos.e.g. if I search for “christmas”, then apple music gives me around 50-100 playlists as result. The same is if I search for “party”.But in Sonos i get only 10-15 as a result - this are all playlists for “christmas”: Even worse is the result on “amazon music” - there is not a playlist at all (this is the whole result page): After digging into deeper, I found out, that the result is that bad when using the “new search”. If I switch to classic, then I get this for e.g. amazon (note that the result is even longer, I just cutted it): So it seems that the new search is still missing a lot of results, or can I fix this by reindexing the search or anything else? best regardsVoodopupp

S2 PC/Desktop cotroller doesn’t show the music qality like Ultra/HD or Dolby Atmos tag on Now Playing artwork. It has very limited info like the Song/Album artwork, song, artist and album info. It would be nice to know if the song is in DolbyAtmos or standard/HD format on the Desktop app itself. It shows all the info on the mobile app just fine. I have one Sonos device: a Sonos One SL.I run the Sonos app on a Windows 10 PC.I keep my Sonos app and firmware up to date. (It is currently on version 16.1)I bought and use my Sonos device to play songs from my Spotify playlists.(The only thing I have in my Sonos Favorites is "Playlists From Spotify".) Before today, my playlists showed up in the sequence I have them organizedon Spotify, so it was easy to find and select which playlists I want to play from.They are now showing up in random sequence. I have around 220 categorized Spotify playlists, and I generally select a differentsubset to listen to in shuffle mode every day. Having that many playlists in randomsequence makes it extremely difficult to find the playlists I want to listen to,and it makes something I use constantly every day almost totally useless. I don't know if this is your problem or Spotify's but I need to get some sort ofresolution.

Hi.I have my music located on a NAS, and I want to be able to play music from this NAS.I get a messy answer, that my device is not turned on, or the path is wrong. Hmmm !The NAS is turned ON, it’s awake, and the path is Correct.So for testing I tried to copy just a few music numbers to my Music Library, and everything works out just fine. I add a few more, and everything is fine, - until I hit the 500 MB of my Music Library, and I get the messy message again - that my device is not turned on, or the path is wrong.I have installed Sonos 2 with 2 ERA 100 and 1 Five.What’s wrong?Best regardsFlemming Sigvardt, Denmark 

Anyone else getting the issue that when Spotify gets to an advert, then it stops?you have to go into the app and pause and play and then it will continue.  Everything else is working ok and no network issues, just Spotify stopping for ads. 

My system has started randomly playing different speakers after they have all been shutdown. It may start one on a porch or it might start several. I just shutdown all music to all speakers and verified they were stopped and it randomly started one back again after a few minutes. 

I have 4 rooms where I want individual alarms … but the alarms overlap each other in the timespan needed. Not possible or…? Does alarm 1 have to end before alarm 2 can start - and so on?

Hi, I am able to play songs through spotify on my sonos that are in playlists or if i search. If I try and play songs from my library in the ‘songs’ folder they will not play. I receive a (701) error. I have tried rebooting router, rebooting my sonos beam, removing spotify service and adding back to sonos app. The problem still remains. This issue did not always exist. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

How do I direct my sonos app. to find my music folder on my Samsung phone?

Close to giving up on my Sonos system and looking elsewhere for a replacement. The App is just not for purpose!! Failure in connecting to speakers, failure to respond to commands once connection achieved. Ludicrous reconnection rigmarole required every time I want to listen to music. I’ve had enough. 

After updating to Ventura 13.2.1, the Sonos Controller Application tries to update, but fails repeatedly. Is this a known issue? If so, what is the solution?

Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and have no problems using AirPlay on any of our Sonos speakers (we have 4 rooms with systems), but my husband is trying to use his iPhone 15 Pro Max to use AirPlay and receives the error that AirPlay cannot connect to any of the rooms. He can use the Sonos app to play Apple Music, just not AirPlay.  Any suggestions on what our problem might be?Thanks

I can’t say exactly when this started, but recently, I’ve noticed that the Sonos App no longer shows album cover art when listening to Sirius XM channels. When listening to Classic Vinyl, for example, the app shows a graphic for the channel, but it’s static and doesn’t change with the song. Artist and song name change as expected.The SiriusXM app, on the other hand does display the album art.Anyone else seeing this?

I have had the same issue while using TWO different trackpad with TWO different iMacs. When I browse even with side swipe turned off I have the same issue as the Magic Mouse issue in the now closed comment. Old Mac and track pad was doing it for over a year. New Mac and track pad (humble brag) delivered today. Does the same thing. So it goes across computers, peripherals, software.

Hi allI might be missing something.On the IOS app I have an option to “create group”, where I can give the group a name, e..g Downstairs, and add in my Kitchen, Lounge and Dining Room devices. This makes it very easy to perform the same actions to all relevant devices.I cannot see any references to either this functionality, or the groups I’ve created, in the Sonos Windows app.Am I overlooking something?Thanks Jim

Hello everyone,Since I updated my Sonos Controller S1 under Windows 11 to version 16.1, I can no longer start the app.I briefly see the black SONOS S1 logo and that's it.The logo disappears and the app is closed.There is also no Sonos task to be found in the task manager.A complete uninstall and reinstall did not change this behavior.I only use Windows Defender as virus protection.Deactivating this virus scanner for a short time made no difference, so that was obviously not the problem.I am at a loss, does anyone have any ideas?Many thanks in advance and best regards from the far north of GermanymeMyself

I recently updated my apple software to Sonoma and Sonos dropped my music library.  When I try to reset the music library, it tells me sonos was denied access to the library.  I/ve had several session with Sonos techs and so far no luck.

Has anyone had same problem and know of a fix?

"Radio.net is experiencing a full outage" message from Sonos will not go away.  It blocks the ability to search music.  Have deleted it from my services.  What to do??

The Sonos App bombs every time I try to connect. When I go and use the Spotify App it finds it immediately with no trouble and connects. I have seen related issues but no one is answering about any fixes. It Is An App issue not a Network issue. I would hope this is addressed in an upcoming update. The Sonos One works fine with Spotify, but not with the Sonos App. Please fix this. Great Speaker poor App.
