Sonos, How can you introduce a new app that is missing so many functions/ features and leave us no choice to go back to the privous version. Not only can you no longer set an alarm, you can not access local music servers / libraries. The overview is a mess and absolutely not very user friendly. Who on earth have designed this and thought this will bring anyone value add. 😫As a minimum give us the possibility to run the previous version of the app and enjoy the Sonos and features we had. 🙏🏻

I was a very early adopter of Sonos. I have 14 different Sonos products, multiples of some of them. In two different households. Unfortunately,  I downloaded the new App on my phone yesterday when prompted.  In the past this did not result in the loss of the old App.   But, SURPRISE!, I got screwed this time. I HATE the new App.  And I can no longer access the old App. There’s nothing intuitive about it, it seemingly did not go through a sound testing process but fortunately I still have the last version on my iPad (so I’m not without a means to access my music). I’ve been one of Sonos biggest advocates over the many many years I’ve been a user. Now?  I won’t recommend it unless/until this debacle of a release is corrected.   is there an easy way to get back my old App?  

My preferred radio station now doesn't work.I prefer "My Tuner Radio" and now it just doesn't work, I get a message saying "something went wrong".I've tried re-authorising the app and removing, re-installing and re-authorising but nothing.Funny that Sonos radio works and it can't be removed from the list.Way to go Sonos, we spend huge amounts of money on hardware and this is how you treat you loyal customers.

I have a Google Pixel 7 and it just downloaded the new S2 app.  I am totally bewildered by the experience - nothing loads on my home screen (it's flashing black boxes), I can't find my custom Sonos playlists (my favorite feature!!), and the music queue doesn't have an edit button (?).  This is absolutely frustrating.  Please help.

When using the mac desktop app I frequently used the function keys to play/pause. This doesn’t work for me with the web app. Does anybody know of a way to enable it? Thanks

I have a music library in my phone Pixel 7 which i would like to hear via sonos without using youtube (premium). Is it a way?

Having (unfortunately) just upgraded to the latest controller, I am really frustrated and annoyed with this version.  There is absolutely no ability to add, remove, edit a queue.  This is fine for listening to a playlist or album, but what if you want to add an extra song - you can’t. What if you want to “create” a playlist with friend/family by adding tracks one at a time (which I do regularly) - you can’t. Re-order - you can’t.Made a mistake and want to remove a track - you can’t How can I downgrade to the previous and superior verision? I can’t believe Sonos thinks it’s acceptable to provide an inferior controller and market this as a new and upgraded controller.  I have spent thousands of pounds over the years on Sonos products and now I found that the most used features for me have been removed.

I create Sonos Playlists with songs from Napster. When I play the playlist I will get an "Unable to Play...lost connection to Napster" message for some songs in the playlist. I will go into the Playlist and see that about 12-15 songs have a black icon next to them (no record cover graphic) and these are the songs that will not play. I have to go and redownload every one of these songs back into the playlist and remove the "bad" song with the black disc icon. It is exactly the same whether I’m on the Sonos (2) Desktop Controller or the Sonos (2) Mobile App. I now have about 500 songs that need to be deleted and reloaded. On top of that, when I search (Napster) for artists/albums/songs, I am now finding that huge numbers of them come up with ‘No selections are available’. Napster is now practically unusable - as is my Sonos system. I have tried: 1) deleting and reloading my Napster Account - no change. 2) Turning off my router for 2 minutes - no change. Hello!I have problems with the signing in my Sonos account with the new Sonos app.I'm using it on both iOS and Android. With the first - no problems, but I can't login with my Android phone.It redirects me to the website, I'm typing my details, but somehow can't login. There's no error message, nothing. Very strange.I've reseted the app at least four times with no success.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!Radoslav 

I recently upgraded to the Sonos latest app version. Is anyone also experiencing a worse performing app user experience? Is the user experience better than the older version in terms of navigation?I find the app slow and less reliable at the moment. The timer is also missing for auto-switch off.

Hey what happened to the sleep timer? I see the app ICON went to black from orange and they removed my sleep timer. Where did it go?

Realy? Thats what we have from Kids generation Z today. I open Sonos app, use it, oh no cant use. This in 5 secounds, i ask Sonos Team, you check your update or you think only thats must work, i think last. TEST IT BEFORE YOU "improve" something that was ultimately lost 100% meesed up. Up until now, Sonos has always been TOP, now i give you the title "FLOP of the year 2024".Please fix it immedetly! Go back to TOP!

Hello ,I have the following problem,Under “My Sonos” I see the station logo of my live stream channel.But at the bottom, where my system that is currently playing the channel is displayed, I no longer have the station logo.There is only a note symbol with a gray background.I use a FritzBox Cable 6690 as an Internet router.Now comes the strange thing: I restart the Fritzbox and I see the station logo again until my cell phone disconnects from my WiFi network again.When you reconnect, the logo is missing again.I've already reset the box and the app.Does anyone else have an idea as to what this could be?greetingMichael

Recently installed a new modem/router. Updated Sonos app to the most recent version. Did a factory reset on my Gen 5’s and Roam. Everything goes well for the addition of the Sonos components to my new wifi network until the very end when it indicates that neither the Gen 5’s or Roam could not be registered to my account. I have a Sonos Port hardwired with an  Ethernet cable into the modem/router. Other device connections were successful. These included 2 Apple TV’s, iPads, iPhones, audio visual receiver and wireless printer. The only failures were the Sonos speakers.

Like many, I don’t like the new Sonos app.  I’ve updated the iPhone that I use the most and I am miserable.  I saw a thread response where one could download the old app for android. Does anyone know of something similar for the iPhone?  Thank you.

I just updated the app on my iPhone and it seems as if you can no longer adjust the queue. Previously you could adjust the order of songs and delete upcoming songs. I will really miss those options and feel someone should see about adding them back in. 

On the old app, you swiped and it gave you the option to remove song from your Sonos playlist (actual Sonos playlist that uses songs from your streaming sources). You can no longer swipe. If you hit the 3 buttons, it lets you “remove from your music,” but doesn’t remove from your playlist. 

The Sonos app just installed an update and now, when I start the app I just get a black screen with the Sonos text. The app never gets beyond that.My ow is android. I installed s1 but it only gives me the option to upgrade to s2.The desktop app still works but wants to update, which I'm reluctant to do until the mobile app works. Anyone have any suggestions

Updated app. Now my system is no longer available on the app. Do I have to reset each component?
