Updated Sonos app

Since the app updated on my phone I’m having some annoying issues.

 

  1. I always browse my library by folder, it’s how I have my music organised.  Now when I go into an album folder I can only play one song at a time.  The buttons for “Play all” and “Shuffle” are no longer there.

  2. Ok, so I go into Album view instead and there’s no search function?  So I have to scroll through 1000s of albums to get to the one I want?  Same on Artist view.
     
  3. “Recently Played” on the homescreen doesn’t update with the recently played items.

I confirm the same behaviour with my system.

Problem is now worse.  “My Library” option has now completely disappeared.

I now have an expensive paperweight.

So annoying indeed. But it’s a know issue, so I expect it will be fixed at some point:
