My sonos amp only has 2 of the 4 speakers working. I cannot find anywhere to view the speakers if there is that facility. I have turned it all off and wifi then rebooted and plug in speakers again and that has not worked.
I have a 1st gen sonos bridge and need to replace lost power supply (DC 5V 2A). I have an adjustable power supply with different adapters/plug so the right one fits the bridge. When mounting the adapter I must choose wether the center should be positive or negative. Do any of you know which is correct?
Good evening.I wanted to ask if it's worth changing my music player. Here are my setup details:Denon RCD M40 connected to Sonos Port. Sonos Port sends audio to:Sonos Beam 2 + Sonos Sub Mini + 2 Sonos One + Marshall Stanmore 2.I want to replace the Denon RCD M40 with a Denon DCD900.Will the sound quality improve?I've heard that Sonos Port limits the quality by digitally re-recording the audio and that it's not worth it.Can you give me any information?Thank you very much!
Can anyone hjelp? I have a "line in" audio signal on my Sonos Port. Now, I don't find the line in as an option in the Android app. What is wrong? Another "update" by Sonos?
I dont know 100% what the amp is for . Recently my aunt passed away she had a Sonos connect amp and no other speakers except the ones in the wall . While packing her stuff a grabbed the amp what can I do with it
I have a solid HiFi system for my vinyl and CDs- NAD amp + Magnepans + RHLabs Sub but I am contemplating downsizing to getting a Sonos Port and running these audio sources through my Sonos system (Arc + Sub mini+ 2 Eras 100 surrounds). The audio sound space through the Sonos system (streaming) is so good that it is motivating me to downsize (and my wife would love to lose the gigantic Maggies from our living room). Would the best path be to get a Sonos Port and use the line outs from my NAD receiver to direct sources to the Port? Would I be able to direct a CD or TT source to my Sonos Arc+ Sub Mini+ Eras surrounds system? (I have an external Preamp for my TT). Thanks in advance.
I have 2 Connect devices (one is located upstairs and the other is downstairs). I have a CD / SACD / DVD / Blu-Ray player that I would like to connect to my Sonos so that I can listen to my CD / SACD throughout the house.
Wondering if it’s possible to use the optimize speakers option with non-Sonos in ceiling speakers and a Sonos amp.the speakers play the high pitched sound, but the app doesn’t pick the speakers up. Fails in multiple rooms. I was reading there as an update many months ago to fix a bug, but I am using the latest app and the amps are all updated.
I’m trying to reset a Connect S1 to Factory Settings so I can use it as an addition to my existing system!! Followed the directions and I’m only getting a flashing white LED alternating with a flashing Green mute button!!
I have a system that has two ports; each controls a different area. Currently, neither port has a hard (i.e., RCA) input as it plays only via Spotify. Is there a way to bridge the two ports if I hook up an audio device (e.g., turntable or wireless audio receiver) to the RCA inputs of one port? I want to hook up the audio device but still have the signal play through both ports so it can be heard in both areas. Thank you in advance for any insights and help.
Hi my sub has stopped working. It’s a gen 3. Model s26. S/n [redacted]pin. 037-52-006is it’s still under warranty ? If not could it be fixed Moderator Edit: Serial Number recorded and removed
It’s clear the direction of travel for the app is cloud check-ins before providing local services. Why else would we have to close - reopen the app constantly when in decent WiFi range?as a customer of some duration at this point I have been debating whether I’ll add/upgrade and I’ve not pulled the trigger. Reasons? I no longer trust Sonos. It’s been a long time since this mess of an app was pushed on us and it’s still architecturally not customer focused. It’s all about subscription future for investors. there is no positive direction of progress now just a slow attempt to fix what was broke. Can’t change volume? Crash the app. Great. You know my mum used to be able to use this stuff. Now it’s a usability disaster, and that was your thing. I have a medium sized install - but a significant cash value to me - and frankly it’s a year away from a pivot to another less proprietary co. oh and the fact you offer sale % off greater than the reward % and attempt to default the basket to the
I have a Sonos system with 2 Amps and two small speakers I am getting continuous dropouts. I tried to change the channel, but this is great out and I can’t change it. What can I do to fix it?
We have a very old Aiwa CX-77 stereo, for sentimental reasons SWMBO want let it go and it's currently sat doing nothing.I've had a look on the back and there are no pre-amp outputs, the only outputs are speaker connectors on the rear and large headphone output (yes it's that old).Because it has CD player and tape decks not it would be great to be able to use those too.So my question, is there any chance I can connect this to a Sonos. The CD player has a ribbon plug to connect it to the main body, however the turntable does have phono leads, so I'm figuring I could use that separately with a pre amp, but it would be really cool to get the whole thing connected (extra brownie points to play her dad's only CDs, tapes)Obviously the sound quality it's going to be brilliant with this old kit, but it would be nice to hear it.Thanks in advance
I have a Pro-ject turntable connected to an Era100 stereo pair + Sub mini via the OEM Sonos USB adapter. Audio is passed from the turntable to my setup just fine. The problem: the setting for Line In Source Level no longer has any effect - I can change it from Level 1 → Level 10 with no audible effect. Also, if I change it to anything other than Level 1, if I quit the app then reopen it, the Source Level is back on Level 1. No other Level settings “sticks”. Prior to this, I was using the same turntable and adapter to connect to a Move 2 (months ago). The Source Level control worked just fine then (I had to keep it set to Level 7). Now, several app updates and firmware updates later, it’s not working - I’m not sure when it stopped working.A few people are reporting the same issue on Reddit. Is this a known issue?
When I try to connect my Zen Mini music server to Sonos, I keep getting the error ‘Unable to connect to Zen Mini computer’. This has started happening after updating the Innuos software, And I have some internet traffic that connecting music servers is difficult with the Sonos S1 app, but I’m unable to upgrade this because my Sonos hardware (Connect Amp) is incompatible with S. Anybody know any workaround solutions?
I am completely new to Sonos but I’ve just moved into a property which has a Sonos system installed. I believe it’s quite an old system. There are several speakers in various rooms in the property and it seems they are all wired to a hub.The hub consists of 2 x SS30 3 Way Speaker Switch which seems connected to a Sonos Amp. The bottom of the Amp has this Model: CONNECT: AMPI have zero idea how I’m supposed to use this and would love some advice.Do I connect with Bluetooth and a Sonos App? Can I stream music from my phone (spotify) or is my system so old that I have to attach an actual music player (for example a CD player)? Is this system worth keeping?Thank you in advance for any advice.
Hi everyone,I’ve been working with Sonos Level 2 Support on this issue (case **********), but I wanted to check if anyone here has found a working solution for this situation.Device details Model: Sonos Connect:Amp (C100) – second-hand unit Serial number: *************** Software version: 78.1-52020 (S2 16.1.1) Hardware version: 1.17.3.1-2.1 Accessible locally on port 1400 Internal pages responding: /status/zp and /support/review Shows: StubReason: secreg QuarantineReason: – Added to my Sonos system, but playback is blocked until the update and secure registration complete. What I’ve tried so far Multiple update attempts through different isolated networks: iPhone hotspot → Mac internet sharing → TP-Link C1200 router → Connect:Amp via Ethernet Also tested on ZTE Wifi Silbo, Linksys mesh + Starlink (bypass mode) The update starts normally but fails at the end with Error 27 (also Error 1013 on macOS). The Connect:Amp clearly has internet access (download starts
Can I use Sonos Connect to use with my old HiFi Stereo Amplifier & pair of speakers without using any other Sonos Speakers ?
My Sonos multi-room music distribution system is somewhat dated, but working perfectly well. I have just bought a new Windows 11 PC and I want to run Sonos from the music library on this new device. I have shared the library on the network, but the Sonos controller [on my iPhone] will not acknowledge it and will not update the software - It says a couple of my Sonos components are “incompatible...” I don’t want anything new; I just want to continue using my Sonos system as I always have - Can anyone help me?Thanks, Geof Ashton
My TV sound (through a DAC converter) shows in my Sonos system as a source (Line-in), and when pressed it does show a signal (signal symbol fluctuates), but no sound comes. This has worked in the past but has stopped working some time ago. I have tried a lot (swap optical cable, power resets, adjust settings in app) but nothing works. When removed the Line-In source disappears so it is evident that it is correctly connected. Any tips??
I have a Port and a a pair of Play 3 as a stereo pair. Every time I stream music from iTunes I have to do the dance of remember in the Sonos App how to get the Port to play to the Play 3’s - can I configure the Port to always auto pair with the Stereo pai?
Hi folks,I have had a bit of a saga with my Sonos Connect working with my Sonos system. Quick Summary:Upon purchase, successfully added Sonos Connect Gen 2 to system that includes 2 Play:1s, one Play:5, and a Roam. After some time, the Line In showed as Disconnected, and ultimately the Connect needed a system update that it could not execute. This was resolved with Sonos Support after successfully updating while connected via Ethernet. Several weeks later, the Sonos Connect Line-In again showed disconnected and needed a system update that it could not execute via Wi-Fi. This time nothing worked (all the flavors of reboots on the phone with Sonos Support). Out of curiosity, I took the Connect to another house and connected it to my in-laws’ Sonos system, on which it successfully updated and added to the system via Wi-Fi, When I took the Connect back to my home, hard reset, and tried to add to my system, it still shows as Not Registered (which it didn’t on my in-laws’ system). It no l
HiIn my living room, I would like to connect my Arc Ultra to my Sub.But this sub is already used by a pair of Five.I have read here and there that it is not possible to share 1 sub with two different configs. But how is it possible? As long as both configs are not playing different sources at the same time, why is it not possible?I guess I am not the only one facing with this issue. And, sorry, but I do not intend to install a second sub in the same room…Thanks for your replies/support/ideas
I have two white Flexon stands for Play 5s as shown in the photo. We have no room for them now as we have moved into a flat and our Sonos 5s are sitting cosily in a bookcase. I’ve tried eBay (no takers) and Freecycle (no takers), but am reluctant to take them to the tip. If anyone wants them and is willing to pick them up in Guildford, UK I will quite happily let them have them. They are in very good condition.
