Procured a used Amp. After factory reset and “system Add” no sound from Sonance ceiling speakers. Simple test setup shows music on the app but no sound.

If you selected a streaming source and don't have it muted it should be putting out something.

Maybe try connecting a speaker directly to the output to insure there is no hidden wiring issue.

You could submit a diagnostic and call Sonos, they might see something.

You may have been sold a defective device, that happens all too often.

If you are saying that the Sonos App in the room for the Amp shows the jumping sound bars as shown in the upper right corner for Turntable (which is my Amp) then you might check to see if there are in-wall volume controls involved for the Sonance speakers.

Did the speakers work previously? Are you sure they’re not damaged - how are you testing them?

Whilst the Amp may be receiving music, is it actually outputting a signal for the speakers - how are you testing that?

You can test a speaker connection by briefly connecting it to a flashlight cell. At the instant of connection the speaker should “thump”.
