We are experiencing persistent sound dropping out on Playbar/sub/play 1 when playing music only, not when playing from the connected TV (via optical). The playbar is connected by Ethernet to the router. Any other speakers in group with it keep playing the music stream when the living room drops out for up to 2-5 seconds at a time. The time between events varies upto 30 minutes, but it has just happened 4 times in 5 minutes. I submitted a diagnostic after the first 2 (reference 1636439061). Anybody any ideas?
Mijn playbar krijgt geen signaal maar is wel verbonden met internet!Sonos diverse keren gebeld maar geen oplossing gevonden.Optische kabel diverse keren vervangen maar geen resultaat!Iemand een idee hoe ik hem aan de praat krijg?Kan dus geen tv geluid afspelen maar wel muziek,heel vreemd.RonaldZoetermeer
This is a problem which was reported and solved few years ago and now is back. The app should not affect the volume of the phone or at least the user should have the option to control the volume of SONOS from the side buttons of the phone or only opening the app.
Hi.New to the community. A few nights ago sonos woke me up in the middle of the night as it started to randomly play one of my spotify playlists. I googled the issue and found a few messages on this message board but didn't seem to find an answer or how I can stop it happening. I don't currently use alexa and it shouldn't be activated.I read that I should submit a diagnostic report immediately after it happens again. Well it's just happened, this time playing the radio which was the last thing sonos was playing, and the number is 1860789045.Any advice or help understanding why this is happening is much appreciated.
I have an Audio Technica turntable plugged into my Play 5. It plays fine in the room over the 5 but in some of the other rooms there are intermittent dop outs of the audio. I have done a full internet reset and reconfigured the lounge home theatre set up I have (sonos beam and 2 Play 3’s as surround. I only tend to play the vinyl over this at night and have relatively few devices being use at the same time. Please could you advise as to how I might solve the problem. I have 2000ms as an audio delay which helped for a while.
Issue l am having involves a single album artwork. All other artwork for the +3000 albums are fine. The issue is that for this single album the artwork doesn’t appear on the Ipad app. I have added the .jpg within the folder and correctly named it ‘folder’. It is within the parameters of resolution size. I have replaced the artwork with an entirely different .jpg and still doesn’t appear. I have also removed the album folder from the iTunes library, deleted it from iTunes and then updated the Sonos music index. Once that has updated l have added album to iTunes again, updated Sonos but still doesn’t appear. There is nothing particularly unusual about album other than a single track lasting over 15 minutes but l have other albums like that and the artwork appears with no issue.Ideas anyone? Thanks
All of a sudden Amazon Music will not play on either of my Sonos speakers. I have tried to reauthorize and I get an error code. I deleted app and reinstalled. nothing has worked. And, when I try to send a diagnostic it keeps saying it can’t send at this time. Help!
I have 10 Sonos speakers in my home. 2 x Play 3, 6 x Play 1 (1st gen) and 2 x Play 1 (2nd gen).They constantly drop out using music streaming services...particularly Spotify and Apple Music and less so with Pandora. I have excellent internet connection, boosts etc etc and have spent hours on the phone with Sonos Tech but am still none the wiser as to why the problem is happening.So..does anyone know someone in the Los Angeles area who is an expert in Sonos and other smart speaker systems cause this has been going on for ages and is driving me nuts!! I just opened my cabinet and my Sonos AMP’s are HOT… I mean REALLY hot. I just measured with a meat thermometer and the middle unit on a 3 stack of Amp’s was over 140 degrees.It seems crazy hot for electronics and a long-term fire risk. I moved the Amp’s to three stacks of two each to eliminate a middle unit, but is there something else I should be doing??
Hello Sonos community,i lost wifi connection on my Sonos one speakers after update to Sonos 12.1 yesterday. I have tried everything connecting them. my Sonos beam is not affected. any ideas ?of course I hab tried resetting , router off and on, etc. Even restarting app and one speaker. they just don’t want to connect any more
I’m having a problem trying to figure out what is wrong with a Sonos connect.The connect is the later s2 device and I have just purchased it 2nd hand.It seem to pair ok and when it updated and went through the register process it seem to fail registration and started flashing the green light. The light flashes very quickly 3 times then 4 times in a pattern, nothing like the blinking pattern when setting up.Contacted Sonos but they were no help.i did try leaving it unplugged for hours and when I plugged it back in it did show a white light so went into my system and found the device and tried registering again, but the same happened and now all I get is the flashing green sequence.
I have three Sonos Play 3 speakers and a Sonos Bridge. The system is 3 or 4 years old. The bridge stopped working; the speakers seem to have power but the bridge appears to be dead. No lights; just doesn't seem to turn on. Is there a way to confirm whether the bridge is working and if I need a new bridge what should I purchase. I looked at available products and it seems that the bridge is no longer available, but it can be purchased on Amazon.
My entire system is fluctuating volume up and down on its own. It doesn't matter if its just one room or all rooms. It doesn't matter if I play from any one of my phones or computer. I currently have 1 play bar, 6 one(s), 1 Play:5, 1 Sub. Internet connection is great. I have updated the app on all my devices. Has anyone else experienced this? Have you found a fix?
After playing music the audio volume will decrease on its own. After i increase it again, it then decreases by itself. I have a sonos connect connected to an amp that is connected to 2 speakers. The amp is wired stereo to mono as im using one channel for one zone and another channel as another zone. Not sure why this is happening.
Good Morning, I just purchased a BOOST for my home. Easy question. What is the proper way to add the BOOST to an already home Sonos Setup ? Play 5, 3 Play 1's - 2 as a stero pair, Play One, Playbase. I will be plugging the BOOST directly into my router.
