Whenever I add Spotify songs as “Play Next” they get skipped. This is 100% reproducible on all speakers for the last several months. Going back and manually selecting the skipped song in the queue will play it normally.I have submitted diagnostics no. 2032647070, captured immediately after a failed playback.I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve this. Thanks,Jakob
Hi, I stupidly managed to drop my Move speaker, only about six inches and it fell across the charging base slightly denting the front grille cover annoyingly. It still seems to be working ok, but I notice when I dock it onto the base I can see a small amber/orange light come on inside the casing at the bottom for a few seconds. I haven't noticed this before, is it anything to be concerned about?
I had this sonos for years and sometimes it wont connect so I reset it. Did that, adding youtube to my sonos and I enter the code. the separate google page says success, device connected but when I go to my sonos app it saysthere was a connection error and it could not be made? I've tried it a few times and it will not work, tried another device, even upgraded my YouTube music nothing is working. I have no idea why it wont connect.
Hi, When I max up the volume Bass on my sonos roam feels like its from a phone speaker. Is it normal or some problem with my unit ? At mid/low volume Bass is good for speaker of this size, the problem is only at max volume.TIA
Today and yesterday have had lots of drop-outs whilst listening to music on My Library. My system components as per my signature. Music is stored on a NAS wired to the router. Basically music kept stopping and then skipping forward. Finally had enough so turned all Sonos units off and re-started the router and then the Sonos units nominally nearest first. But that hasn’t solved the problem. The diagnostic after that latest failure is 2013370740This is the matrix. The room I’m “working” in is “Study” but I also had drop-outs in the “Dining Room”. To my untrained eye it looks horrible! I did have an issue with my work computer and wireless connecting to the internet which was likely due to wireless interference. That was resolved by getting a couple of Powerline adapters. They won’t have got rid of the interference of course but it is only the last few days been having horrible drop-outsIt certainly seems more prevalent streaming my music library than TuneIn or Sonos RadioAll and any advi
I have only been able to get Dolby atmos when watching Jack Ryan on Amazon prime, everything else is Dolby digital, even with Disney +
I have a Sonos Connect device and two Player 1s. I moved and had no trouble connecting the Player speakers to my new WiFi system. I am having troubles with the Connect product. I rebooted, I reset to factory settings, I have successfully added to the Sonos 2 app more than once. (There were no problems using this device at my former home.)The Connect is connected to a CD player as it was previously. The system plays the CDs for about 20 minutes and then simply disconnects. This has happened repeatedly and each time I try the steps above. Has anyone else had this problem and how have you resolved the issue?I am using WiFi with high speed access (almost 200 mbps); Sonos 2; iPhone 12.Any advice would be appreciated.
Intermitantly can’t control volume and then sound cuts out altogether when using Xfinity remote. I have rebooted the router, unplugged the whole system and replugged, updated the TV, updated my Xfinity password which changed a few weeks ago. I can control the sound with the Sonos app OK, but once even that did not work. I even got a new remote from Comcast and it seemed to pair OK. All other actions using the remote work so I don’t think that it is the remote. I am out of ideas.
Hi there. I have a pair of Sonos five’s and a beam in my front room however recently the left Sonos five speaker will just switch on and start beeping for about 20 seconds and then stop. This will then happen again later on. It’s really frustrating as it wakes me up at night as it’s quite loud. I’ve tried switching it off for a while and then back on but I still get the beeping happening. Any idea on how I can get this fixed? Thanks!
Hi all I'm posting here as a final hope. I have a set up of:1 x boost1 x beam4 x play:11 x play:32 x One SL1 x One1 x Sub I moved into my current house in January, moving in with most of the speakers and adding the 2 One SLs.The house isn't massive, but it is old. And has a mixture of walls between rooms that vary from a single bricks thickness to an absurdly thick 20 inches (of brick and stone. Like I said...old house!) Due to the walls the house kills WIFI. I have cable broadband with download speeds of up to 220mbs if within a few feet of the router. However if you move to the adjoining room (beyond one of the 20 inch walls) you'll be lucky to even pick up the WiFi, not least achieve any respectable download speeds. So I've installed a netgear orbi mesh, with 3 access points in the 'dead zones'. WiFi now works perfectly well, as does the 2 hue hubs I have (1 hub for each floor, every room in the house is equipped with hue). I also have ring door bell and a couple of their cameras t
The S1 controller app on OS X (M1 processor) hangs when I use it to initiate indexing the music library. The sonos devises connect to a Boost which indexes the music library on a NAS (both are wired to the same local network). If I use an S1 app on my phone the reindex works fine. The problem just appears to be with the latest S1 software running on OS X Monterey with an M1 processor.
Hi Tried DTS today… PS3 to Sony receiver (Earc pass through) to my Vizio Tv… This setup works perfect with Atmos, but with a dvd Eagles in Australia, DTS 5.1 is shown and works. When I do the same thing with a blu ray, no sound when switching to DTS on the Blu rays menu… Just like before the DTS update. Anyone got any similar experiences or ideas? Let me know.
Sapete dirmi qualcosa? GrazieGood morning, I have a question: using Spotify on Sonos, I'm realizing that often and willingly the volume of the system begins to go about, lowering or even raising the same to the max .... as if something conflicting. I made all the updates, but nothing, it continues to happen. Can you tell me something? Thank you
I’ve made no changes to my sonos system. All speakers are working perfectly, but when my move is grouped it says it’s playing but has no sound. The volume is on and not muted. If I press the pause button, all the grouped speakers pause. Please help.
Help me please! We just bought a Sonos One. We cannot get Spotify to work for more than a single song. We are fairly frustrated so if I am unable to get this working I will have to send it back.We only have a single Spotify account.Asking Alexa for a song she announces the song and then proceeds to not play anything. Alexa, play stairway to heaven Stairway to Heaven, Remastered by Led Zeppelin, from *(Wife’s)* Spotify*Nothing* I’ve tried everything I can think of. Unlinking accounts, installing and uninstalling apps. What a mess. The only way I can get this working is by using the Sonos app to Reauthorizing Spotify. Then it will play one song. The next song will not play, as above. There’s no problem if I use the Sonos app to play a song. Also we don’t have this issue on any of the Amazon echo devices, only seems to be the Sonos!
Hi there, I’ve got 6 SONOS devices in the house, all work perfectly at the same time or individually. However, over the last week or so I’ve noticed if I choose an album or playlist on the SONOS app via Amazon Music then almost all the speakers skip, hang, stutter or delay in playing the song. So as a 3rd line IT engineer with 21 years experience I started looking at the obvious. Router, dup IP’s, Wi-Fi interference etc and couldn't fix the issue. However I’ve discovered that if I ask Alexa to play the same album or playlist the issue never happens. It also wont happen if I use SONOS radio, TuneIn Radio or BBC Sounds etc For example, I can open the SONOS app and search for Fleetwood Mac Best Of. I find the album and press play. All the speakers start skipping and juddering, some don't play at all for 30 seconds and then start cutting in and out. If I press stop and then say “Alexa….. play Fleetwood Mac Best Of” - Alexa will find the same Album on the only streaming service I have (Amaz
Suddenly the app can’t find my 3 speakers and yet Alexa can - any suggestions? I’ve already deleted and reinstalled the app with no luck
Sonos just updated some of my speakers making them S2 - thus separating my system - so now my system no longer works as one, I didn’t update to S2 for this reason, but the latest S1 update has done it! One would think sonos are trying to “brick” our devices AGAIN!!!
So I have attached all three below, anyone else seeing this since the last update?Android Phone:iPad: Desktop app:
Use my iPhone to stream podcasts via AirPlay to my Sonos Move however, the signal intermittently finds its way to other components on my Sonos network. Other than manually muting everything else, any ideas please?system consists of 2x old S5, 2x old S3, Old Sub, Connect amp, Bridge, & Move.
Hi have tried to get help with this in a previous post “Move Stereo Pair Drops Speaker”. When playing my stereo pair of move speakers using Spotify, it drops one of the speakers. Only solution is to reset the system and play exclusively from within the Sonos app, which has limited functionatlity. Support seems lacking.
I have 8 Sonos products throughout my entire house on 4 separate floors. They work great (for the most part) when I’m home alone. However whenever I have a party and have more than 15 people at my house Sonos freezes up, stops playing, disconnects certain rooms, becomes all whacky in general and it’s an enormous buzzkill. This typically happens when I am streaming Spotify through Sonos, but has also happened with SoundCloud and YouTube Music. Is this because I’m maxing out the bandwidth on my router? If I got a separate router and WiFi network for my Sonos system would this likely fix the issue?
This is a “retag” on a discussion I started a few days ago when I knew less than I know now, so the topic title is more succinct. At least for me, I have determined that the S2 Controller running on a iMac M1 (Big Sur 11.5.2) will consistently not load all speakers if that iMac is connected via Ethernet -- although it will often find them if given a couple of hours. Each time S2 is restarted, the app may see different speakers and drop others when the iMac is on Ethernet.I have a cable modem with a single Ethernet output that drives an Eero Pro mesh router system. The Eero mesh units provides WiFi to the house as well as Ethernet input to a NetGear 18 port Gigabit unmanaged switch. A Sonos Boost is hooked to the switch as is the subject M1 iMac -- and before you jump the gun the Boost is the ONLY Sonos unit connection to the Internet; all Sonos components are in “WM:0” mode. There are other Android and Apple products in the house but they run primarily via WiFi. All have the S2 control
Spotify shuts down often while playing a playlist. Our internet speeds are great so not sure what else could be the cause?
Hi everyone. We have been a Sonos family for a number of years and really enjoy the system. For surround sound we have the Playbar, subwoofer, and 2 Play 1 speakers in the back. Our TV is an older Samsung LCD that does not have ARC, eARC, and can only pass 5.1 OTA.We are happy with the sound especially when we can get 5.1 from it. We have found that by using this Roku player we can get 5.1 sound from HBO Max and Apple TV+ while 5.1 only works if we use our older Fire stick for Netflix and Disney+. This means we have a splitter to handle both HDMI inputs. This is the splitter we use from iArkPower.I would love to find a solution where we could just use 1 device to get 5.1 sound from everything. Is this possible? If so, do we need a different splitter or a different Roku or Fire device? We did try a newer Fire device and that caused the 5.1 sound in Netflix and Disney to stop working.Again, our current solution is okay, however it would be great to get it down to one device that can hand
