This has happened me several times now, and it’s a real pain. I fully charge my speaker, power it off and store it away so it’s ready for the next use. I have quite a few speakers in the house, so only use the roam when outdoors so it could be several weeks before I use it again. Every time I test it before use the battery is totally drained and dead. Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong but my gut feels like it’s a problem with the power switch. Has anyone else had this issue or found a solution?E
Hi I have more and more streaming drops playing local radio program… my Internet connection is stable and wifi is strong…. Is it possible to have a closer look to debug logs on sonos devices to find out what's happen ?thanks Manuel
Hi, i’m using a cd player connected to the RCA input of the Sonos Amp.Then ampli outs go to passive speakers. Then sub audio out goes to a dedicated analog amplifier + subwoofer. Due to the analog circuit the sub woofer is delayed some ms respect the passive speakers. The problem is that there is no delay option to allign Amp out and sub out. There is only the option to invert phase (0 and 180) of the sub out but it’s not I could put a processor between cd player and sonos amp to add some delay but i don’t know if the dac is coupling “amp out” and “sub out” or they are separated. Any solutions ?Thanks
I have a dead Five under warranty. I rang Support and they confirmed it was dead. My other Five, which formed a stereo pair is working fine. So, they took my details and said they would get back to me.It’s been a week and I’ve not heard anything from Sonos, either telephone or email. Is this usual? Do they contact you again to confirm things or is there a delay whilst they prepare a return?
When using my sonus and selectinf all my speakers (six total) the music will stop playing in through one speaker then start again then stop. Please help!
In the last week or two the audio on my TV streaming APPS - Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video has become distorted. In the beginning the audio would return to normal after a few minutes but now it stays distorted. I have tried rebooting modem and TV with negative results. The audio on Live TV, Youtube, DVD player and streaming from Mac Pro via HDMI is fine. I have been using WIFI for many years but recently found streamed music from Spotify or my Music Library would drop out so I hard wired to modem with ethernet cable from playbar which fixed that problem. This is the only change I’ve done. I tried going back to WIFI but still audio was distorted. The equipment I’m using are as followsLG OLED65C8PLA - 2018Sonos playbar (2015) - optical to TVSonos 2 x Play:3 (2015)Sonos Sub (2018)Really hope someone can help me solve this problem. I’ve read many topics similar to my issue but can’t find an answer, also some of the lingo goes over my head. Cheers Julie
I have newer and older Sonos components, so in one home we use the S2 controller; in the other the S1. With either controller, either location, different modems/routers, the controllers will not allow me to load Apple Music. This started to be an issue months ago but other priorities were more important. At one time the controller/Apple interface was fine. A suggestion was made to d/c Apple Music as a service and reload. Now, when I attempt to re-add Apple Music as a service, the S1 controller simply hangs. I get once red circle and then a white screen - no matter what I do. I can’t even reinstall Apple Music in the controller. I thought - I’ll go to the web and install Apple Music through the PC controller - but it refers me back to the Android. This is very frustrating.
My Sonos system needs re-setting daily and I am exhausted and about to give up and find an alternative sound system. I bought a connect in the hope that would help but it didn’t. The App struggles to find the system and constantly needs me to re-set our router which is rather inconvenient with my wife and I working from home and I would rather not have to run around my house each day fixing what I see as Sonos failings. Should I delete the App and start factory setting all 8 of the speakers?
I’ve had a Sonos 5.1 setup working fine with the optical out from a Samsung TV for a couple of years. Replaced it with a Philips 70PUS8556 and I’m just getting what I should be from the two rear play:1sit sounds to me like it’s just a quieter reproduction of the Playbar, and weirdly when I change the Music Playback setting from Ambient to Full, even when watching TV, the rears get louder, backing up my theory I think. Any ideas? Using the same optical out cable I was using with the old telly, and the Sonos app does say Dolby Digital 5.1 - I just don’t believe it!
I have many Sonos speakers throughout my house and use a playbeam grouped for a radio alarm. Until the last update, it was working perfectly for that alarm (yes, have a include grouped rooms switch set toon for that alarm and all speakers are actually grouped). Since the update to the most recent firmware, the alarm will ungroup the speakers when turning on, making the radio play on the one speaker only.I have unset/set that group function, as well as deleted the alarm and configured again, to no avail. I have a second alarm set on a playbar, also with include grouped rooms switched on, and that continued to work after the update. Anyone else with this issue?
Connect volume too low? try using opticalI was getting very faint sound from my Sonos CONNECT into my Denon AVR-X2000 using an analog connection (Connect Analog out to Receiver CD in). Tried adjusting the receiver’s input volume and the Connect’s output volume as suggested in some threads here but with no luck. Likewise the digital coax didn’t work. Finally tried using the optical connection and it works great. This works for me because I’m using the ARC connection from TV to receiver so i don’t need it for anything else.
No longer noticing differences with speech enhancement being on or off. Prior to the recent update, it worked great, so no idea if related. Used to be super obvious when speech enhancement was on vs off. Night mode thankfully still works. Swapped out the sound bar with a new one and same issue. Also swapped out Beam gen 2 is hooked up to Sony A80J do the HDMI3 eArc port with IKEA speakers in the rear.Source material comes from Apple TV 4K plugged into HDMI 4.
Whenever I add Spotify songs as “Play Next” they get skipped. This is 100% reproducible on all speakers for the last several months. Going back and manually selecting the skipped song in the queue will play it normally.I have submitted diagnostics no. 2032647070, captured immediately after a failed playback.I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve this. Thanks,Jakob
Hi, I stupidly managed to drop my Move speaker, only about six inches and it fell across the charging base slightly denting the front grille cover annoyingly. It still seems to be working ok, but I notice when I dock it onto the base I can see a small amber/orange light come on inside the casing at the bottom for a few seconds. I haven't noticed this before, is it anything to be concerned about?
I had this sonos for years and sometimes it wont connect so I reset it. Did that, adding youtube to my sonos and I enter the code. the separate google page says success, device connected but when I go to my sonos app it saysthere was a connection error and it could not be made? I've tried it a few times and it will not work, tried another device, even upgraded my YouTube music nothing is working. I have no idea why it wont connect.
Hi, When I max up the volume Bass on my sonos roam feels like its from a phone speaker. Is it normal or some problem with my unit ? At mid/low volume Bass is good for speaker of this size, the problem is only at max volume.TIA
Today and yesterday have had lots of drop-outs whilst listening to music on My Library. My system components as per my signature. Music is stored on a NAS wired to the router. Basically music kept stopping and then skipping forward. Finally had enough so turned all Sonos units off and re-started the router and then the Sonos units nominally nearest first. But that hasn’t solved the problem. The diagnostic after that latest failure is 2013370740This is the matrix. The room I’m “working” in is “Study” but I also had drop-outs in the “Dining Room”. To my untrained eye it looks horrible! I did have an issue with my work computer and wireless connecting to the internet which was likely due to wireless interference. That was resolved by getting a couple of Powerline adapters. They won’t have got rid of the interference of course but it is only the last few days been having horrible drop-outsIt certainly seems more prevalent streaming my music library than TuneIn or Sonos RadioAll and any advi
I have only been able to get Dolby atmos when watching Jack Ryan on Amazon prime, everything else is Dolby digital, even with Disney +
I have a Sonos Connect device and two Player 1s. I moved and had no trouble connecting the Player speakers to my new WiFi system. I am having troubles with the Connect product. I rebooted, I reset to factory settings, I have successfully added to the Sonos 2 app more than once. (There were no problems using this device at my former home.)The Connect is connected to a CD player as it was previously. The system plays the CDs for about 20 minutes and then simply disconnects. This has happened repeatedly and each time I try the steps above. Has anyone else had this problem and how have you resolved the issue?I am using WiFi with high speed access (almost 200 mbps); Sonos 2; iPhone 12.Any advice would be appreciated.
Intermitantly can’t control volume and then sound cuts out altogether when using Xfinity remote. I have rebooted the router, unplugged the whole system and replugged, updated the TV, updated my Xfinity password which changed a few weeks ago. I can control the sound with the Sonos app OK, but once even that did not work. I even got a new remote from Comcast and it seemed to pair OK. All other actions using the remote work so I don’t think that it is the remote. I am out of ideas.
Hi there. I have a pair of Sonos five’s and a beam in my front room however recently the left Sonos five speaker will just switch on and start beeping for about 20 seconds and then stop. This will then happen again later on. It’s really frustrating as it wakes me up at night as it’s quite loud. I’ve tried switching it off for a while and then back on but I still get the beeping happening. Any idea on how I can get this fixed? Thanks!
Hi all I'm posting here as a final hope. I have a set up of:1 x boost1 x beam4 x play:11 x play:32 x One SL1 x One1 x Sub I moved into my current house in January, moving in with most of the speakers and adding the 2 One SLs.The house isn't massive, but it is old. And has a mixture of walls between rooms that vary from a single bricks thickness to an absurdly thick 20 inches (of brick and stone. Like I said...old house!) Due to the walls the house kills WIFI. I have cable broadband with download speeds of up to 220mbs if within a few feet of the router. However if you move to the adjoining room (beyond one of the 20 inch walls) you'll be lucky to even pick up the WiFi, not least achieve any respectable download speeds. So I've installed a netgear orbi mesh, with 3 access points in the 'dead zones'. WiFi now works perfectly well, as does the 2 hue hubs I have (1 hub for each floor, every room in the house is equipped with hue). I also have ring door bell and a couple of their cameras t
The S1 controller app on OS X (M1 processor) hangs when I use it to initiate indexing the music library. The sonos devises connect to a Boost which indexes the music library on a NAS (both are wired to the same local network). If I use an S1 app on my phone the reindex works fine. The problem just appears to be with the latest S1 software running on OS X Monterey with an M1 processor.
Hi Tried DTS today… PS3 to Sony receiver (Earc pass through) to my Vizio Tv… This setup works perfect with Atmos, but with a dvd Eagles in Australia, DTS 5.1 is shown and works. When I do the same thing with a blu ray, no sound when switching to DTS on the Blu rays menu… Just like before the DTS update. Anyone got any similar experiences or ideas? Let me know.
Sapete dirmi qualcosa? GrazieGood morning, I have a question: using Spotify on Sonos, I'm realizing that often and willingly the volume of the system begins to go about, lowering or even raising the same to the max .... as if something conflicting. I made all the updates, but nothing, it continues to happen. Can you tell me something? Thank you
