Can't figure out why I can't find SiriusXM Love, Channel 708, anymore. It exists on the SiriusXM app, and until three days ago, I could stream it through Sonos. Not anymore. It's not even in the channel lineup. To be clear, I can play it on my phone through the SiriusXM app, but not using the Sonos app and therefore not through my home speakers. Any ideas?

I have been ripping my cds to flac files to play via Plex to Sonos. I have some files which I ripped a few years ago and they play fine. The new files I’ve just ripped will not play and throw an error saying files are not encoded correctly. The only thing I believe different between these files is the compression level used. The older files uses a compression level of 6 when compressing the flac, where as the new files I used compression level 3. When looking at the metadata for these files I also see the older files seem to have album artwork embedded where the new files do not. Other than that I can’t figure out what might be different in how these files have been ripped. They are both 16bit 44100Hz sample rates which is supported on my Sonos. Here is the stream info for each file.Working file:METADATA block #0  type: 0 (STREAMINFO)  is last: false  length: 34  minimum blocksize: 4096 samples  maximum blocksize: 4096 samples  minimum framesize: 14 bytes  maximum framesize: 13732 byte

I have a new Orbi wi-fi setup. My Sonos now only sees the wired Sonos products and not the 2 separate Play:1 speakers. Ive tried all the 'reconnecting' suggestions from the forum with no joy. Hi,I want to return Sanus Speaker Stand. I buyed 13/01, and is not working for me due to the huge stand up floor piece. I want to buy the wall mount instead https://www.sonos.com/es-es/shop/wall-mount-one-play1-pairBoth are same money, so I want to return the stands and get the wall mount, but there’s no way in Spain to chat or call anyone at Sonos. Seems the customer support is very bad and I’m wrting here. Also I’m trying to print a label for return and the page I get doesn’t give me the label. 

I keep getting this error randomly, after X seconds of playing a track. The same track will sometimes play through without error, so clearly its nothing to do with encoding since its intermittent.  Very frustrating since all I play is from YouTube Music.  Diagnostic 291296562.

HiI have 4 Sonos S1 speakers which have been controlled by a Samsung tablet which was running the S1 App controller.   The speakers and tablets were recently moved to another location thus another wifi address.  My daughter created the Sonos playlists adding one song at a time and does not recall user name/password (if required) for these playlists since she created them 2 years ago. I have an Apple 13 phone and a friend went ahead and installed the Sonos S2 App on the Apple device which allowed me to get access to Youtube Premium streaming music at the new location but not access to the playlists I had in Sonos previously. All Sonos speakers are now connected to the new wifi location using the Apple 13 device.Questions:How do I restore the Sonos playlists I had when I was using the Samsung tablet with the Sonas speakers.   Is there a way to restore these playlists to the Apple device which is now running S2 with the speakers? Where is the music from Sonos Playlists physically stored? 

It’s as if my Sonos system has got a cold or something.it’s been working fine for some time; Sonos Boost hardwired to router, about 65Mbps internet speed, Sonos devices (mostly Play:1) in the same places in the house.Now we are getting:Random drop outs on speakers - just stops playing for a few seconds then continues.  Grouping speakers sometimes results in one of the speakers not playing; when I take it out of the group it plays as a single speaker, then back into the group and it’s OK. Some mornings the alarm (radio) doesn’t start or stops far too soon.I’ve changed the Sonos channel (speaker next to me stopped as I type this….and restarted after about 10 seconds) from 11 to 6 (although 11 looks the least busy according to a WiFi app on my phone).I’ve re-booted the router (completely turned it off) but with WeMo and Hive I don’t want to keep doing this or else they get upset.I use the S1 app as I’ve got a couple of ZP80’s on the network. I often use Alexa to start / stop speakers alth

I recently paired two Play 1 speakers in my living room. These speakers work fine when I am playing music in that room alone. However, when I try to group the living room with other rooms in my house, the Living Room pair stop working. I have 5 Play 1 speakers in four rooms. The Living Room is the only room with paired speakers. I have rebooted the speakers and my router multiple times. It’s a weird problem, since the paired speakers work fine on thier own, they just go silent when joined with another room. Is this a software issue?

Bought a new 2 CD set with same name as old 1 CD. I deleted the old folders from my NAS drive, updated to be sure it was missing and then copied the newly ripped music to the NAS drive.The issue is that Sonos only brings up the old data, still thinks that one CD has 8 instead of 19 tracks and doesn’t know the other CD is there at all.Double checked that the new files on the NAS were present and both new folders are there but Sonos is not updating despite several tries - after an update it somehow resurrects the old data for the original CD which was deleted and thinks that it is still there? Any ideas?

I have the most simple setup in the world and it’s not working. 4 Play 1 - grouped in 2 paired groups. Yet efter at little while the one group goes out of sync with the other. Is there any fix for this or doesn't Sonos care at all. Wouldn't be the first time.. Thank you in advance for answers.Claus 

Just looking for some help. The last  few days have experience very occasional  drop outs when playing Amazon music. Have addd a few extra speakers in the past month and a Beam 2 and because of that I thought it was best to move my Sonos System onto Sonosnet . So I also add a Sonos boost. My Wi-Fi is on channel 11 and my Sonos boost is on channel 6. Can I ask how to submit a diagnostics report? Thanks

Hi,Got two refurb Sonos One speakers delivered today and noticing some intermittent crackling on one of them (stereo paired).I’ve submitted diagnostics, #454299761 - it’s the left Office Speaker that’s crackling.Thanks.

I use my Sonos Amp as a Home Cinema amplifier and it was working very well: as soon as I switched on my TV, Sonos Amp switched on and amplified the sound brought by HDMI ARC. Since I created an account, downloaded Sonos S2 and configured my Sonos Amp, I must open S2 application and choose TV in order for the sound to be amplified by my Amp. That wasn’t the case before. Is it possible to make Sonos Amp amplify the TV sound by default ? (otherwise I will factory-reset it and stop using Sonos S2) 

I run several Sonos products from my iPhone app version 13.4.1 … The music comes from my iTunes library on my PC … I use my imported iTunes playlists … everything is playing fine … but my library simply will not update. It doesn’t add new music OR change playlists. When I click update now in the app, it does what it normally does … and when it finishes after 5 or so minutes … my library hasn’t changed.I did some of the suggested fixes for similar problems, checking the network, changing the channel from 6 to 11, that kind of thing … but it doesn’t appear to be a network problem. I am not getting any error messages or anything. Can anyone suggest what’s wrong?

Hi, should an iPad Air running 12.5.5 be able to connect to my existing sonos system?  I know the system is fine as my iphone 7 running 15.0.2 can connect to it, but for some reason the iPAD no longer can, they are both on the same wifi. 

This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. I have observed that I always have trouble connecting from Spotify on my computer (or my mobile app) to my Sonos system a short time after using my TV connected to the original Playbar (via optical TOS-Link cable) and configured with 2 Play 1 surround speakers. This is not just a problem connecting to the Playbar setup, but once this happens, I cannot connect to any of my other speakers throughout the house either. I have 2 other Play 1 in a stereo pair, 4 standalone Play 1, and a Move. Spotify fails to connect to any of them after turning off my TV and starting up Spotify. I typically attempt to connect to the Playbar/surround setup first, but once this fails, all other speakers just hang there in Spotify waiting to connect, and never succeeding. Everything is on the latest firmware (as of Jan 2022), but as I wrote earlier, this has been an ongoing problem (more or less ever since I have had the setup, which is going on 3 years now).

Last week I enabled the explicit filter on my Sonos system. I play music on an Apple Music radio station that prior to enabling the filter hasn't given me issues with stopping and will play indefinitely unless I stop it. From my testing what seems to be happening is whenever the explicit filter reaches a song it doesn't like the music stops entirely rather then skipping the explicit song.Is there any way to address this or is this something Sonos has to patch. Thank you, Ian 

Hi,I’ve found something that could be named a bug in the indexing of Sonos IMHO. Having two classical music albums with exactly the same name ‘Domenico Scarlatti: Sonatas’ but played by two different artists ‘Angela’ and ‘Racha’. Both albums have been correctly tagged.  I’ve noticed that ;Only Angela’s album is listed under Album Searching under composer ‘Domenico Scarlatti’, nothing from Racha shows up. Searching under Artist, Racha and her album does show up.Changing name of one album solves the problem. Strange isn’t it ?Hope this helps others.BTW, I have the 11.2.13 app on a Sonos S1 system. 

Own LG 65SJ850A 65” UHD TV, Beam and Play 1 surrounds and never could get ARC connection to Beam to work and used optical, until now. Thought I’d share.LG HDMI bus is challenged by CEC devices attached to HDMI (Beam, Apple TV, HDMI switch, Sony Blu ray, etc). You need to turn off CEC (power-on) on for each device AND on the LG in a well hidden menu. If a device is attached with CEC enabled on any other HDMI port, HDMI2/ARC will fail and disable the Beam. Maybe later LG models have a better CEC implementation. On the LG TV there are 3 volume indicators on the right of the screen when volume up/down on remote is pressed. If you get a numeric display with numbers, that is the LG internal speaker indicator. If you get a smaller +/- arrow display that is the HDMI2/ARC output, if you get grey circle with a slash, the TV speakers and ARC are dead but optical maybe enabled. Your goal is the +/- arrow volume indicator. For the LG, there is a difference between configuring audio in the All Setti

When trying to select my playlists on the LivePhish app on Sonos, it says unable to browse music.  This is happening on just the playlists as all other parts of the app are working fine.  And also when I go to the actual LivePhish app, the playlists work fine there.  Any help?

Dear all,Since few weeks, I have a problem with my Connect : with Deezer, each songs lose sound between around the 30 last seconds and the 10 last seconds… I tried to disconnect electrically several times but the problem remains…Do you experiment the same problem ?Any idea how to solve it ? Thanks a lot for your help,Vincent

This is a known Google Assistant issue that I’ve brought up with Sonos. If you ask a Sonos voice device to turn off lights. Sonos’s Google Assistant will repeat the command “Turning Kitchen Lights off”. On google home devices, they will play a pleasant chime. My wife can’t stand Sonos confirming every command. They need to make the implementation of voice the same as it is on google devices. Not sure if google intentionally limits these basic features for Sonos.
