Recently the volume on my Sonos One is very low and will not adjust. The only way I can get the volume to work correctly is to unplug unit and plug it back in. I have had the unit for almost a year with no issues--this started a couple weeks ago.

I have a new Sonos One that I am adding to home with 2 Echo devices. In the Alexa app I am trying to setup an Audio Group for multi-room music. However, the Sonos One does not show up as an available Echo device to add to the group. What is the trick for getting this to work? Thanks.

Trying out the alexa app with an echo Dot today. Is there, or will there ever be a way to simply have all Echo audio playing through my Sonos speaker? At the moment you have to specifically tell Alexa the speaker to use, i.e. Alexa play the Beatles on *speaker name*. I would prefer if I could have all audio by default going through my sonos, without having to state the room on every command. Maybe I am missing an obvious setting for this?

hi all i'm trying to add a Sonos One to my existing system, for 2 reasons: 1) first and foremost, to add a device that is compatible with alexa (all my other existing devices are not), and 2) to add an additional speaker to my system (why not?). The problem is that when i added the sonos one and tried to add it to an existing room, all other rooms other than the one i wanted to add it to appeared as choices. The existing room (my living room) has two existing play 3s (paired together i think), a subwoofer and a playbar. does any of this preclude me adding the new speaker alongside these devices? (and is therefore a reason why this room did not appear?). i know that i can group rooms so the advice of 'just call it x and then group it with your living room' is (partly) valid. But this workaround causes some additional problems - for example, when i use alexa to play a song in the living room, i then have to manually group it with the room the

Its been over 7 months where people have been asking for a fix. How about not ducking sonos players that arent in the same room as the alexa being asked? Is it really that hard that you guys can't do an IF THEN code in the software? The solution of telling people to disable the skill is the same thing as saying yeah go buy a different speaker other than sonos. PLEASE FIX THIS!

If your Sonos speakers are not currently in a group, and you initiate a song/playlist on one speaker thru Alexa, and want to add another Sonos speaker, how do you do it? I want to stream the same music to all my Sonos devices even if I add them "on-line" one by one. (I know you can do this if you group them ahead of time in the Sonos app, but.....)

Hi I am since +/- 5 years a pretty heavy SONOS user and since one year I used ALEXA. Alexa is since some months 100% supported in belgium I sold my ALEXA speaker and bough me some SONOS one's to add alexa controls in some of the rooms.... unfurtunately it seems SONOS team didn't follow the integration track of ALEXA??? Why isn't there ALEXA support on the ONE's yet in belgium and many other countries where ALEXA is already supported by amazon?! I just flushed 900euro on extra Sonos ONE speakers which only behave as PLAY1 speaker since I can't use voice commands ;-( A very unhappy premium customer...

Sonos works fine -- Alexa works fine except cannot see Sonos speakers It has worked in the past. Note: I believe that having 2 Sonos accounts has created the problem. One account has the speakers, the other account has the Sonos SKILL. When I try to add the Skill to Alexa, it tells me that I need to transfer to the other account. All sounds well and good but while executing the transfer it abends and tells me to call Customer Care .. "GOOD LUCK THERE!". What I would really like to do is delete one of the accounts and get everything in one place. Can't find a way to delete a Sonos account. I have a simple configuration. 2 Sonos One speakers and iPhone app and a Windows 10 app.

New Sonos One with built in Alexa! Not quite. My new unit arrived today, setup was easy and had it working within 10 mins. However I was disappointed to learn that calling and messaging are not possible. Also not able to play Spotify with voice control on that unit, this works with the DOT. Nowhere that I seen in the marketing release did it say that Alexa functionality would be limited, so a lesson to be learned there. Could someone from Sonos please highlight any other Alexa functions that are restricted in the new Sonos One. Are there plans to introduce the calling and messaging features in the future?

I have spent an hour trying to reconnect my Spotify account to both Sonos and Alexa so that I can say, "Alexa, play 'XYZ' on Spotify." It then tells me to connect my Spotify account to starting with my Alexa app but EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED AND I AM LOGGED IN. I have tried uninstalling both apps, I have disconnected the service from the speakers, I have even checked my Spotify account to ensure I am in fact premium, even though I know I am, and sure enough, that's fine too. I literally cannot figure out the problem. That all being said, I can't ask my speakers to play Spotify but I can open the Spotify app on both my laptop and phone and connect to my Sonos speakers from there. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING. HELP.

Why does Alexa keep telling me that she is not registered when I ask for her to play the Radio? I.E Alexa play radio 2

I have a multi speaker setup (PlayBase, Sub, two Sonos Ones). Voice commands to Alexa work perfectly. I can request a playlist, artist, song, or station from Amazon music and it will play. The problem is that it stops after one song. I've read previous threads regarding this issue. So, I removed the skill and re-added. I've removed the surrounds from the group and re-added. No change. The PlayBase is wired in as is the sub. Any thoughts?

Hi, I have a beam and 2x ones for surround sound. I can’t seem to play music after I’ve been watching tv without using the app. I’ve tried saying “switch to Spotify” but it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I have an LG Oled tv. IT has HDMI Arc, but it doesn't turn off the TV. It turns it on, but won't turn it on. Also I use to be able to put the tv to sleep with my Apple TV remote. When use to put my Apple TV to sleep the TV would also so off, but now it just goes to the HDMI screen. Any suggestions?

Having continuing problems with Alexa and the Sonos one speakers - one speaker has cut out completely and refusing to respond. The other is occasionally working but mostly not- I’ve tried rebooting numerous times to no avail - the software is rubbish - a lot of money for it to go wrong - I’m considering returning them and going back to old fashioned Bluetooth connection unless anyone has any tips?

I do not understand something. I have sonos one. I have amazon in Poland, paid version. music is played back by the applications on your phone and computer. I have combined applications with sonos - but I can not play because it does not work in my location !!! ---- yyyy .... I do not understand

When I select a radio station (Spirit FM Sussex) from the Sonos App it plays fine. However, when I ask Alexa to play “Spirit FM” it confirms the command by nothing plays. Checking the Sonos app, it reports that the “Format is unsupported”. Any ideas?

Can I make a Bluetooth speaker that is connected to an Echo Dot play together with my two Sonos Ones and Sonos Connect? If so, what is the set up method?

Cannot play Spotify

I have alexa echo dot and a sonos setup of several play 5s, a play 3 and a play 1. All of these speakers are already linked to my sonos account. I have sonos and alexa app on my mobile and am trying to add the sonos skill, but keep on getting an error as follows: "add your sonos speakers to your account: you need to link speakers to [email] before you can add this skill...". It goes on. I have checked via desktop that the speakers are added, i have told it i've fixed the issue. I have tried uninstalling and rebooting everything and reinstalling it again. no joy It used to work a week or two back and i'm frustrated A) that alexa seems to have forgotten the previously working sonos skill and 😎 I can't enable it again Any solutions much appreciated from anyone who has experienced the same issue and solved it

I have the Play One with Alexa which works amazing. I also have an Echo Dot in another room that works beautifully with my Sonos system. The only slightly annoying thing is that I have to tell my Echo Dot "Play Rock in the Living room". If I don't specifically say "in the living room" the dot plays the music (which is technically correct). Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default player/speaker so that I no longer have to specifically say the location of the speakers I want to use? In other words I would just say "Play Rock" and my Sonos speakers would kick on. I can't seem to find anything specific to this question while searching the Alexa forums.

When using Sonos with Alexa Echo and streaming music service (Pandora and Amazon Music), playback stops after one song. Very frustrating. I have tried disabling the skill and re-enabling to no avail. Help

Hi, I have an older Samsung TV which has Anynet+ and CEC but doesn't have a HDMI ARC port. I can see that there are some HDMI -> HDMI ARC converters, has anyone tried this? Ideally I want to be able to use the voice control features of the beam, any thoughts would be appreciated? Thank you!!!

When asking Alexa on my Spotify One’s I always get the reply: ”Please link a Spotify Premium account...”. My premium account have been linked and works perfectly thru Sonos. Spotify is selected as default music service in the Alexa app. Use UK location on both Alexa app and Sonos app. Spotify account is however Swedish. Any idea or fix to this problem?
