What to get

HiI currently have an office setup with a Beam and two Play:1 as surrounds which works fine. I want to add sound to a small gym I’ve setup in the garage (lowest cost ideally). Gym has 2 walls and a garage door and is 7x7 feet.I want to be able to setup so that I have two seperate groups in the Sonos App so I can play from either the office or the gym. What would you recommend?

What should I buy first? a Sub gen 4 or two Era 100? I have a medium room and I want a home theater, I can't buy two Era 300 for space reasons. After I would look for a way to add Era 300.

I’m looking for some suggestions to upgrade or expand on my current Sonos system. My products were purchased between 2018 and 2020. I have recently started getting into 4K UHD Blu Ray music and also Blu Ray audio with Dolby Atmos and Quadio mixes. My system consists of Arc, One (2 - L and R surrounds), and 2 subs. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and plan to gradually enhance my home theater setup. Should I add surround speakers or a subwoofer next? If speakers, should I choose the One SL or Era 100? If a subwoofer, should I opt for the Sub (Gen 4) or Sub Mini?Regarding room size, I have a living room and dining room connected by a wide, open archway, each approximately 4m x 4m x 2m. Should I consider this a large room?

Hi all,I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the answer I need.I have various Sonos products, subs, play bars, surround speakers and a move in various rooms. I have just been given a Audio-Technica LP60XBTBK for Christmas and want to connect it to my system so I can play it throughout the house. I am confused on if I need a port or an amp or neither. Can anybody help please.

I’ve just moved and want to set-up a more legit home theater experience. The living room consists of the sectional and TV console on that bottom left portion of the L shape. I’d like a sound bar to sit on the tv console and face towards the sectional with a surround speaker in the corner of the room and other side of the sectional.Given the L shape of my living space, the media/sound is mostly enclosed in an 11x15 foot space. The other area will be a more formal dining room. It’s also worth noting I have fairly short ceilings, ~8’ and there’s a chandelier hanging dead center of the living room portion between the sectional and TV console which could potentially interfere with any up-firing drivers. My original plan was Arc Ultra and two Era 100s with no sub given the ultra’s rich bass. After reading some posts on reddit and the forum, I’m now leaning heavily towards:- Beam 2- 2 Era 100s- Sub mini?Looking to the community to help me decide!Is it worth it to get the Arc Ultra for future-

I’m interested in an Arc Ultra, two Eras 100s, mini subwoofer, and one roam.  Will I also need an Amp?  If I get the Sonance ceiling speakers, will I need the amp?

Hello! Looking at these two scenarios and wonder what would work better for a reasonably big open L space and lots of music listening, some while moving some stationary and a decent amount of films. That's about the max I can do budget wise at the moment. Thank you!

I have an open floor plan for living room/kitchen. 20ft x 40ft. I have corner TV mounted over fireplace with arc. Center couch in middle of room and a corner chair.  Looking to balance sound into kitchen. Was thinking of adding gen 4 sub, but confused on placement of era 100s or era 300s given constraints of room.  Was thinking 2 era 300s on one back corner of couch by wall cabinet and other behind side chair on stands and an era 100 or 300 in kitchen. Appreciate any thoughts and hope my pics upload for assistance in visual. Thank you. 

Hi Folks - I’m struggling to find a clear answer so asking here…Background: I have a Arc and 2 Sonos 100 speakers connected in my living room. All 3 are synced to play audio when watching TV and music from our phones via Spotify/Sonos app. I bought my wife a vinyl record player (Sony Electronics Inc, PS-LX310BT Belt Drive Turntable, Automatic Wireless Vinyl Record Player with Bluetooth and USB Output). The Ask: I would like to be able to play records and have the music come through all 3 speakers. What do I need to purchase and/or connect to make this happen? From what I’ve read I need a Sonos Port? Would my life be easier if I sold this Sony record player and purchased/used a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable instead?  Thank you for the help. 

I’d like to connect a turntable and maybe a CD player to the Arc Ultra and Sub 4 via Bluetooth or WiFi. I don’t have an amp and would prefer not to buy one due to $$$. I’m a newbie so please be patient. Looking for recommendations. I dont want to use a line in as the Arc is above by TV and no room for  turntable. Please don’t use too many acronym in reply.

Hi friends, can someone advise me if it is worth buying the sub gen3 or gen4? I don't know if there is a difference between the two. I only have an era 300.

Sonos makes a great product and is the leader in the wireless speaker whole home entertainment market. However, the Sonos website doesn’t make it easy for current users and/or potential buyers to determine (locate) which sub to use with a particular Sonos speaker, stereo pair or the Sonos Amp. The information does exist but requires a bit of searching to locate. Currently, the best answer is found obscurely under the Sub 4 page.https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/sub-4-black  While either the full size Sub or Sub Mini will work in many different scenarios. The Sub Mini does have a few specific use cases wherein the full size Sub may be overkill depending upon room size and Sonos or 3rd party speakers employed. One specific use case for the Sub Mini is with the Amp powering Small Book Shelf speakers. Hi everyone,I’ve recently set up a Sonos system in my living room, which is quite large, and I’m trying to get the best sound quality possible. I have a Sonos One as the primary speaker, but I’m wondering if adding additional speakers or making some adjustments could improve the overall experience.Here’s my setup so far:Sonos One (main speaker) No subwoofer yet I use the system mostly for music, streaming services like Spotify, and occasional movies.I’ve tried adjusting the sound settings in the app, but I feel like I’m still not getting the full potential, especially when I crank up the volume. The sound can sometimes feel a little muddled, and the bass doesn’t seem to be as impactful as I’d expect, especially for a system that's supposed to fill a larger space.I’m wondering if I should invest in a Sonos Sub to help with the bass, or if there are specific settings within the Sonos app or any other tweaks I might be overlooking. Anyone from Sonos or in Japan that has heard about availability of Arc Ultra/Sub 4 here.  It was written end of November, but I haven’t been able to find anything in the usual retailers showing a pre-order or stock.  

I have a simple system with my music on an external drive, S1 on my PC, Sonos Bridge 100, and Sonos Player connected to my integrated amp. If I were starting out right now with the same external drive, PC, and integrated amp,  but without the Bridge and without the Player, what current Sonos products would I need?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone can help out build the best setup for the space as atacched, it is cca. 50m2 in total… TV is hidden in the movable cabinet near the fireplace. It is a newbuild so we can play with best positions etc.I was thinking 1 sonos Five near dining table, 1 woofer next to sofa and probably 1 more Five or two times sonos One in respective corners… 90% use scenario is background music, 10% TV watchingOh and the ceiling is suspended so there is potentially an option of adding speakers in the ceiling as well, but dunno how much more complicated that is ...Any help much appreciated. 

My Sonos system includes one Beam Soundbar (Gen 2) & two Era 100 speakers that I want to connect to a turntable - yet to be purchased and to be as “wire-free” as possible.  I am considering purchasing the Audio-Technica AT-LP70X or AT-LP70XBT-BZ turntable and a Brennan VB1 device to help make everything more wireless.Should this work?Would the sound come out of the soundbar and 100 speakers?Any thoughts, other options, or suggestions?  Thanks!

Hello,This is my first time investing in speakers and I am looking for recommendations for setup. I have a 65 inch LG C3 TV in my living room and the distance between the screen and the sofa where I usually watch TV is 4250 mm. This is an apartment and my living room is open with kitchen. The whole dimensions for the living room including kitchen should be 8200 mm length and 3600 breadth. I have attached the apartment layout picture for reference.I recently, invested in an arc ultra and even though the sound is substantially better than TV, I feel this setup lacks a bit of oomph. The sound output from arc ultra feels flat with lack of bass and also the surround sound (dolby) feels non existent. Watching Peter Pee’s video, I am thinking of adding a sub mini to this setup for better bass output but is there anything I can do for better dolby surround sound ? I understand dolby sound works by bouncing off walls and in my case there is no wall on my right and the waves might have to travel

My house is currently under construction. During the planning phases, I ordered two speakers to be installed in the ceiling of the Grand Room and two outside for the pool area. The speakers are passive Elan EL-600-IC-8(s). I purchased a 77” LG OLED G3 TV for that room as well. I need suggestions as to what soundbar or surround sound system to get. My reseach leads me to believe that an ARC soundbar, Sonos Sub, and 2 SONOS amps.  

Hii am using since some year the playbar and I am still pretty happy with it. I was considering to extend it to home cinema and wanted to buy a set of era 100. after researching it seems they are not compatible to my playbar. Hi Everyone,I am thicking of buying my daughter a Project T1 Turntable for Christmas and I was wondering if I can connect these to a set of old Play 1 sonos speakers to start with and then later upgrade to say a Sonos 5? Or what setup would people recommend? Also I can see there is both a Phono and Bluetooth version of the Project T1 will both work? Do I need to buy a Sonos AMP or Port?Also would using bluetooth have a significant impact on the music quality? My daughter wears headphones a lot so I thought the bluetooth version might be a good idea. I hope someone can help?
