Hi everyone,
I’ve recently set up a Sonos system in my living room, which is quite large, and I’m trying to get the best sound quality possible. I have a Sonos One as the primary speaker, but I’m wondering if adding additional speakers or making some adjustments could improve the overall experience.
Here’s my setup so far:
- Sonos One (main speaker)
- No subwoofer yet
- I use the system mostly for music, streaming services like Spotify, and occasional movies.
I’ve tried adjusting the sound settings in the app, but I feel like I’m still not getting the full potential, especially when I crank up the volume. The sound can sometimes feel a little muddled, and the bass doesn’t seem to be as impactful as I’d expect, especially for a system that's supposed to fill a larger space.
I’m wondering if I should invest in a Sonos Sub to help with the bass, or if there are specific settings within the Sonos app or any other tweaks I might be overlooking. Also, would adding another Sonos One as a surround speaker in this setup help, or should I consider something like the Sonos Beam for a more cinematic sound?
I’ve read some things about using Trueplay to adjust the sound based on the room, but I’m unsure if that’s really necessary or if it will make a big difference for a room this size.
I’d really appreciate hearing about any personal experiences or advice on how I can improve the sound in my specific setup. Are there any other Sonos products or add-ons that could help enhance my listening experience in a large space like this?
Thanks in advance!
