Connecting Vinyl Player To Sound System

Hi Folks - I’m struggling to find a clear answer so asking here…

Background:

I have a Arc and 2 Sonos 100 speakers connected in my living room. All 3 are synced to play audio when watching TV and music from our phones via Spotify/Sonos app.

I bought my wife a vinyl record player (Sony Electronics Inc, PS-LX310BT Belt Drive Turntable, Automatic Wireless Vinyl Record Player with Bluetooth and USB Output).

The Ask:

I would like to be able to play records and have the music come through all 3 speakers. What do I need to purchase and/or connect to make this happen? From what I’ve read I need a Sonos Port?

Would my life be easier if I sold this Sony record player and purchased/used a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable instead?

Thank you for the help.

You would need a Sonos device with a Line-In - Port, Amp, Five, or Era 100/300+Line-In adapter.  Note:  The Amp would only be used if you also wish to power external speakers.  Your current Era 100’s cannot be used because the Line-In feature is disabled when used as surrounds.

You would connect the Line-Out on the Sony turntable to the Line-In on the Sonos device.  The Pre-Amp on the turntable should be set to ‘Line’.

Note that because the turntable is also bluetooth capable, that is also an option.  The bluetooth compatible options are Roam, Move, Era 100/300, and Arc Ultra.  I would recommend using the line in though if at all possible.

A Victrola Stream that ties into the Sonos WiFi link is also a possibility.
