What to get

I have a Sonos play bar and was wondering what are the best sonos speakers that will hook up with play bar? I want to place a wireless speaker on an end table so I can hear It better

I still don’t have any sonos product but I’m thinking about buying some of them for my house. I want to buy a pair of outdoor speaker and conect them to Amp and my turn table for my terrace. My question is, can i have a Five speaker inside my house and group it with amp in order to listen the same inside and outside? Thanks

My Sonos 1 Gen 2 has dropped off my app my other speaker is still in use, I’ve followed all advice on internet, turning on and off plugged into router nothing is working? 

Hi,  begrudgingly having to replace my connect as the connect is the beginning of my mesh network & I will not be able to separate my system. Any forum members picked up a Port to replace their connect?  I am running my current Connect through an Arcam Rdac into a classic NAD 3020. Any one experienced a degradation in sound quality using the Port? The recent ‘What Hifi’ review has made this potential  purchase even more of a quandary. Didn't fancy shelling out the £279 before. The fact that this might actually be an inferior product to the connect makes me doubt it even more. i don’t want to get into a ‘bun fight’ about DACs & ‘subjectivity’ only want to hear from people who have actually upgraded please  Any input greatly appreciated. Hi everyone, i’m inteesting in buying arc sonos but i’m indecided because from some reviews i read that to take advantage of the dolby atmos sound technology you need a tv that supports this type of signal, so to take advantage of the dolby atmos technology or does the dolby atmos audio signal pass through the classic hdmi? Otherwise i’ll have to change the tv too, thanks.

HiI might buy an Arc today (its on sale) but wanted to ask a couple of questions first.I have a LGC8 (65”) with a PC and a PS5 connected to it. Today I have two audio pro t8 with the audio pro sub connected to it. But I never play music on this system, just games and movies//tv shows. And the audio is not very good since its a bit too low when speaking and then very loud when action. So a bit annoying when the kids are watching something :) so. Ive been looking at the arc, partly because its white and supposed to be very good. I will not listen to music and I have no other sonos products. Here are my questions.is it “stupid” to buy a sonos sound bar when not using the sonos system in the rest of the house? can I connect the audio pro sub to the arc? Thought this would be a good way to save money instead of buying a sonos sub… thanks a lot. Im a total sound noob, and is really not interested in this at all but want it to look good and sound good. Not even sure how to connect my product

Various issuesJust cuts out whenever it feels like it 2. Can’t connect to Spotify message 3. Cannot conne t to apple messagetried all fixestried hard wiring/ethernet, line in.restatred and replaced router several timesyes, we have poor internet always.  Can someone recommend a company who makes good speakers that work just with Bluetooth and do not need the Internet? Sonos has been a rather painful waste of money and time. Thank you!

I placed an order on Dec 9th.  The site said expecting to start delivery on Dec 18th.  This is a Christmas present and I was hoping I can get it before the Christmas day.  Send a ticket on Dec 20th and noone call back within 24hours as said in the email.  Check the order status again on Dec 21st and still saying backorder.  Use the chat and the technician said he can’t help and ask me to call 800-680-2345 opt 4 for any question regarding my order.  However,  the phone system said no sales agent available and cannot even leave a message.  Now Christmas is passed and my order still showing ‘backorder’ as status, I want to cancel it now because is too late already.  How can I do that asap?  

I ordered the Move on 11/15, well before the Black Friday rush and my order status just says “Processing”.  It’s been 37 days with nothing more than the original order confirmation email.  I emailed Support on 11/30 and was told on 12/4 to call Sales.  Spoke with Sales and Accounting on 12/7, both assured me that my order was fine and would be shipping out in the next day or two.  Now 12/22 and nothing.  Great tech but horrible operational processes.  Anyone know what’s going on with this company? 

I’ve got a small system with two ZP90’s, one Bridge and a CR200, and I want to upgrade all of it to three Ports and a Boost.This is fine for all except one of the ZP90’s, which was previously owned by someone else. That owner viewed the “Upgrade” option for that unit, and it showed as being eligible for upgrade in his account, though he did NOT choose to upgrade it.Problem is that when installed in my system and viewed in my account it doesn’t show as eligible for upgrade.Please can anyone advise - if he chooses “transfer system ownership” to my account, will that resolve the problem?Thanks!

I have a large living / dining room area (30 feet long x 20 feet wide x 14 feet high ceiling). I am interested in playing music (no TV). I currently have 1 Play 5 (Gen 1) in the area. Does a decent job. It is sitting in a corner and therefore you get slightly faded sound on the other end of the room.All my other Sonos speakers - in other areas of the house - are fairly recent. I want to upgrade the Play 5 to Sonos Five or something in order to completely untangle away from the old S1 platform and use the new S2 platform fully.What would be a good setup for my large room to replace the Play 5: one Sonos Five or two Sonos One or 2 Sonos One and a sub?Again do not need a TV function.Will appreciate advice from the audiophiles here :)

On Black Friday I placed an order for a subwoofer. I got a notice on 11/28/2020 that it shipped. Today is 12/10/2020 and I still have not received my subwoofer.  Right now, I’m on hold waiting for Sonos customer service.  This is my second call. The first time I was on hold for 20 minutes and hung up. WTF Sonos?!? You can’t take $600 from someone and offer nothing in return.  

I am renovating my home and I don’t have space for a centerpiece like Sonos arc below the TV (TV will go on a marble fireplace). Can I use two wall speakers (or Sonos One’s) for front and two in ceiling speakers as rear speakers and achieve surround sound? If so, should I use one amp or two to connect those to TV? I have the new Samsung “the frame” 65”. Thank you!

Hi, I have searched and cannot find anything “exactly” the same as my query.I have a very large living room, currently with a traditional 5.1 system setup.I want to change it all and go with a Sonos system.I want the Arc, 1 x sub and 5’s for the rears. I then also want to add some 1’s in other rooms, but, not related to this query. Would the 5’s for rears offer a significant difference over the traditional 1’s for rears in a 5.1 system in a large room please?The main listening we do is standard TV, films, netflix etc, but, we listen to a lot of music also.Thanks in anticipation. 

Hello - My parents have a Beam, Sonos One and Sonos Play:1. The idea was to purchase another Play:1 to set up as surround sound (I understand you can’t use the One and Play for surround sound). We just learned the Play is being discontinued so wondering if it’s even worth it to purchase the refurbished version.  The other option would be to purchase another One and use that as surround sound. They currently have the One in the kitchen as a separate speaker.  Not really sure the best route to go. Kind of frustrated over the situation. I don’t understand why you can’t connect a One and Play as surround sound but that’s another issue.

Hello,I’m considering getting the wall mounts to use as rears with a pair of Sonos One SL’s. The cord that comes with them is too short to use to go along the wall to the power outlets at floor level.I want to get a pair of wires that I can connect to my speakers and then run along the wall down the outlets. I see some online that you can use to replace ones that come with the speakers. Can anyone recommend ones that you use in this scenario?Thanks!

 HiI'm thinking of buying a Surround Set (Arc, Sub gen3, 2xOne SL) but what I can see on the forum are people with Samsung JS / JU Model TVs Audio Issue with the old PLAYBARIs there anyone here who can help and inform me if the Surround Set vill works with my Samsung JS8005 seriesIt will probably not work with Dolby Atmos but will it play out of all the speakers example in surround sound modethank you

Published 5/10/20 Exciting things are happening at Sonos. They have just announced the June 10, 2020 release of a much anticipated addition to their family of Home Theater speakers. That being the Sonos Arc with Dolby Atmos.   An obvious question is how will the Arc fit into the Sonos line-up apart from the fact that it is capable of bringing the Dolby Atmos experience to home theater entertainment? Hopefully the chart below will answer some of those questions.  As you review the chart keep in mind that those points highlighted in blue are footnoted. The Sonos Amp has been added to this group; although not technically a speaker, it can be used in Home Theater to power 3rd party speakers for left/right front channels or Sonos in-wall (left/right) architectural speakers by Sonance.  Doing so it approximates the Center channel referred to as a “phantom center”.
