What to get

I am trying to buy a pair of flexson ajustable stands for  Sonos oneSL speakers.but they are out of stock. Has flexson stopped trading.

Hi,I just ordered the home theater setup. My question is I think I under ordered. Would you recommend two gen 3 subs with the 5’s for the rear? Versus 1 sub and the one sl ‘s in the rear. Also would you recommend the amp for that. What can I do to maximize my Sonos experience.  thank you 😊

I am considering replacing my current home stereo system with a Sonos system.  I have turntable connected to the stereo, as well as wired outdoor speakers.  Also, I use an Amazon Echo in my kitchen. I own a sonos beam and gen 3 sub. I also have a turntable and receiver hooked up to listen to albums with headphones. I want to play albums to speakers, too. I see two options: A sonos port to play on my existing sonos speakers, or add a Play5. If I added a play 5, can I pair my sub with both my beam and a play 5? Is the Play5 stereo? Which is the better option: the port or the Play5. The difference in cost seems négligeable and another speaker seems like clutter when I have a great speaker system already.

If you bought you Arc online from Sonos, when did you order it and when did you finally receive it?  I ordered mid July and the anticipated ship date was July 24.  Now, the anticipated ship date for new orders is mid August.  I am wondering which order dates are currently being delivered.  Thanks

Hi,Any advice would be appreciated.  I am currently having an extension which will have 3 separate areas but all open plan. A Family/dining room, Kitchen & then seating area. About 40 square meters in total.  My plan was to have 1 speaker in the family room, 2 in the kitchen as very high ceiling and 1 in the seating area all hooked up to one amp. Would I be able to create 3 separate zones so I can turn off speakers? For example I was hoping to be able to turn off the family room if the kids are in bed and we’re in the kitchen and seating area.Thanks in advance,Sid  

Can I use a beam (connected to a TV), with an Amp powering surrounds and a third party sub off the amp?

Hey everybody,As a music & home theater set-up: I currently have the Sonos Amp + 2x Boston Acoustic VR2 floor-standing speakers.I also have 2x Sonos Fives as the Surrounds, and 2x Sonos Subs connected. It’s an awesome set-up as is! I started with the Arc (instead of the Amp) + 2x Fives + 2x Subs and loved the sound quality, but needed more ‘oomf’ and energy from the front of the room since I’m used to a traditional 5.1 set-up with floor-standing speakers. Now that I’ve transitioned to the Amp, I love the volume; but I’m missing that high fidelity sound, immersive effect, and subtlety in instruments the Arc had (when coupled with the Fives and Subs). My primary use case is music and the Amp shines with music.  The Arc did too, though it had to be turned up considerably to feel that energy.  But it was great when turned up because you could hear every individual instrument around the room. Feel like I should probably upgrade from these old Boston Acoustic VR2’s, and curious if anyone

I ordered an Amp to replace a ZP80 device and received the Upgrade credit when doing so.When I received the Amp, I realised that I should have acquired a Port device so I returned the Amp to Sonos. I would now like to order a Port device.My question is how do I get the Upgrade credit reapplied to the replacementPort device?Thanks for your help.regardsDon 

Hi, I’m looking into a soundbar to mount underneath a 65” LG CX OLED on a MantleMount in the location attached.  The room is wide open as pictured into the open floor plan kitchen behind it.  Would the Arc be sufficient in this setup or would the Atmos/surround capabilities be severely diminished?  Are the side walls too far away too?  Looking for the experts input here and what I should do in this situation.  Thanks so much.TV to be mounted over fireplace with a MantleMountKitchen area on the other side, open floor plan. 

I see there are a lot of questions about projectors here but none are quite what I’m looking for..  so sorry to ask another one…  I would like to get a sonos setup for a projector with Roku.  The projector has R-L audio output but no wireless features. I am thinking I could hook that up to a Sonos Port and use that to get sound to speakers across the room wirelessly. I would probably get a Beam to go with the Port.  Would this work? Any help is appreciated!

Hi! I’m interested in getting the arc surround theatre system for sports and movies (although I listen to music much more than I watch TV). I understand high, vaulted ceilings aren’t ideal and less so my space which is open to the loft above. Still, I’m interested in Sonos for its quality, easy connectivity and options to expand (for example I’ll likely also get a pair of Ones for my office and gym which are in the loft space).  So my question is does “less than ideal” mean I simply won’t benefit from the full effects or that it’s not appropriate and I should look for something else? Attached are photos of my space. The ceiling is  14’7” at its highest eg the wall where the TV is (getting a large screen TV soon), and has a 20 deg slope downward towards the viewing area. To the left of the TV wall is open plan, which is partially covered by the loft space above and a sloped ceiling that is 30 deg. Both areas are open at the top as shown. Thanks so much! I received a promotional Sonos email about Sonos Move.I have a couple of Sonos speakers already.But the email says:Make the most of the season with everyone's favourite portable speaker. Is Sonos move ‘everyone’s favourite portable speaker?’.  That’s a question for Sonos probably rather than the community.  Move hasn't been out that long and I’d be surprised if it’s the most popular portable speaker in the world.  But happy to be corrected.Is Move really ‘everyone’s favourite portable speaker’?  Or is that just advertising spiel/misleading?

Hi community! I have a Roam for streaming music on my patio via bluetooth. The issue is that when I make or receive a call (Iphone 12) the music mutes on Roam until the call is finished. I would like the music to continue playing during the phone call.  Any suggestions?Best regardsLudde  

I currently own several Sonos speakers.  But, I am going to be getting speakers for a retail location and want to get 2 Pairs and 1 Sub.  It is a 1500 sqft open space.  Are 2 pairs of Play 5s worth the extra $ vs 2 pairs of Play 1s?  The bass/low is important, but do the 5’s outperform the 1’s that much on the highs? I read on this forum that some thought the 1’s seem to outperform the 5s on the mids with the setup. Thoughts?  Thanks in advance!

The Sonos model S29 is the Symfonisk Picture Frame, which is as it sounds: a picture frame with a speaker built-in. Some details have been posted on the Verge, which confirm many of the details that I have been seeing since January.The codename I saw on one prototype was “TITAN-redacted” which is similar to the Verge’s story.The speaker specs are similar to the Play:1 and the existing IKEA devices. I have TruAudio system. My amp is the Crown 1000. I want to run it through my Sonos system and would prefer to have the ability to control volume via my phone on the Sonos App. Can someone please advise me on what parts I will need to make this happen?

I currently use it in my dining room primarily - it sits atop a bookshelf - but also will use it outdoors when entertaining due to its superior volume over my Sonos One and more portable than my Beam. I considered upgrading my Beam to a more full HT setup, but as my living room isn't square, setting up surround sound wouldn't work nicely even using in ceiling or wall speakers, in relation to where people sit. Adding to that the fact my wife would rather I not spend more than what the Play: 5 was, I am leaning towards something of a hybrid approach that I would like insight into: Connect Amp + hard switch speaker selection.  I know it’s possible but I have yet to find a switch that would let me alternate one set vs another so I might just unplug/plug the other speakers when needed, so I don’t turn up the outdoor speakers and blast the indoor way too much.  Less of a

Hi, I am planing to buy a soundbar in India and have shortlisted Sonos Arc soundbar.  While reading a review, I read that Sonos TruePlay does not work with Android devices. I could not understand what does it mean.. can I not use it as I don't have any Apple device.If yes, any other alternative in India for a soundbar?Also, does it work well without Sub and SL?

Hi,I just ordered a projector and the newest apple tv 4k. Since I'm already a happy Sonos user (basically just have two Play:1 units), I would love to continue with that.From my research I figured that I have these options: Connect the ATV to bluetooth, for instance a sonos roam and then group the roam w. the other older units which – as I understand would make all of them play? Connect the ATV via Airplay 2, for instance to a Sonos One.. I heard that is has the caveat of having to re-connect every time, but might provide a better solution? I know that this is not what the above equipment was designed to do, so not looking for that kind of input.The whole idea of the projector setup is to have a big screen when I need it and then tuck it away when not using it and soundwise I want to be able to use the speakers for music as well.Any constructive input on the above?Thanks in advanceLars

So I’ve recently bought a new TV and am finding the speakers pretty rubbish. I was looking at getting a Sonos product however am now torn between getting just the Arc or a Beam and adding two Ones to go along with it. Does Dolby Atmos really make that much of a difference that it can outshine two surround speakers?

Hello all,I used to have a Sonos S1, and I loved the sound. It used it mainly to listen to music, but I really missed being able to play music from my laptop's browser (running MS Windows). So, now that I see that the Sonos Move includes the possibility to connect by Bluetooth, I am seriously considering to buy it.The move seems to tick all my checkmarks: enough sound for a room, possibility to carry it around the house (including kitchen, 2 rooms, bathroom and balcony), and multiple wireless inputs. However, I see that it cannot be connected directly to the TV via a wired connection (I have a Samsung QLED 65Q74T, 2020). On the other hand, the TV can use Bluetooth external speakers, and also has Airplay 2. So, I have the following questions:If I watch a movie on the TV and sync it via Bluetooth with the Move, will I have lip-sync delay? If the answer to number 1 is yes, should I buy a Sonos Beam, to connect via wire to the TV, and sync it with the Move? I have seen around contradictory
