What to get

Hello, We are thinking about getting a few Sonos One Speakers for our office. I am not familiar with this system so I have a few questions to see if it will work how we want. If I buy 4 Sonos Ones, can they all be controlled separately? We would like to be able to all listen to the same thing but also change the music for each “zone” if we want.Can I have 4 different users control the Sonos app?

I have the old Play 1, 3 and 5. What would be a new equivalent to the 5? I also plan on expanding in the future. Thank you

I’m currently setting up roughly 1,500 square foot basement with 4 TV’s on north, south east and west walls.  I was thinking 4 SONOS Arc’s at each TV along with 1 sub for game time and music to keep the clean look and good sound throughout.  Anyone think this will work or should i switch some to play 5’s?I’m looking for recommendations if this will be okay for both music and TV.  Comments please….

why i cant order this ?

Setting up a system to drive six speakers and a sub woofer. It will be about $300 cheaper to go with an amp plus port. Should I do that versus two Sonos amps?

Dear Sonos being a huge investor into your system I decided it was time to upgrade into the garden. I looked at the outdoor indoor set and thought that would work. the shipping date for this is end of July.  That is 8 weeks away - of course I can purchase from your retailers that seem to have plenty of stock. so I thought maybe I should move to the amp and sonance speaker set and this also has shipping in the distant future. I contacted customer service who said demand was high and they are unable to fulfil orders. this morning I received two emails from you.. ‘fast and free shipping’. This is clearly not correct as fast is really next day, even next month would be better than two. the second email was regarding high demand on the move and get the last few items, before this email you had an 8 week wait list. my question is why can’t you be honest and tell people what the issue is? Do you think it is right to give the wrong information to your customers? frustrated buyer of your infras

Hiya..I am looking to buy a couple of Roams to use around the house. I was wondering if I would be able to take them away in my motor home and use them straight from my iPhone as a stereo play or would I need to set up some Linda local network? Hoping for the former! Martin

Hi have a roam speaker thinking of getting 2.  I understand 2 x roam can be used in Stereo under wifi, and does not work in stereo in bluetooth.Can 2 sonos roams be connected to a single bluetooth streaming?Is it possible to play 2 x sonos roam not in stereo from either a samsung galaxy s7 or iphone 12.  Thanks

Hi guys,This is my first post using this platform and I’m still getting familiar with how everything works. I’ve owned my Sonos products for about a year now, which consists of the following items;Arc2x Fives1 x Sub Gen 3Those are in my living room as I frequently use them for music, PS4 gaming and 4K/Dolby Amos enabled movie streaming (Netflix). I have no complaints about the performance and listening experience however I’ve become aware that I can add a second Sub Gen 3 and wished to know if anyone has first hand experience and if there’s proper improvement.

Hello Everyone I am Planing to install Surround Setup (Home theatre)  Front Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Rear Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Center Speaker  - Arc Sound BarFrontSub - Sub In Celling - Sonance 1 Pair with Amp  Is this the correct surround Sound Setup or do I need to add or change anything in this setup please advice or suggest.

Hello Community my current setup:sonos soundbar over toslink to LG TV OLED65G19LA2x sonos onesub (gen1)All set as a 5.1 systemPS5 over HDMI 2.1Nintendo Switch over HDMI my maybe future setup:sonos arc over HDMI 2.1 eARC to LG TV OLED65G19LA2x sonos onesub (gen 1)all set as a dolby atmos 7.1?PS5 over HDMI 2.1Nintendo Switch over HDMI Before I buy a new sonos arc, would my future setup technically work? The LG OLED65G19LA does support Dolby Atmos and has HDMI eARC and I’ve got the HDMI 2.1 cables but will it passtrough the Dolby Atmos from another HDMI input like a PS5? Or would only support the integratet Apps on the LG TV (webOS 6.0) like Netflix/Disney+ the Dolby Atmos?thx for your help

Hey every one , this is my setup : 2x Sonos PLAY:1 , directly connect to the internet router.I know that play:1 aren’t able to do Airplay. but ,if I purchase a SONOS ONE (or SL) ,  will the ONE or SL will support AirPlay and share the music with the others ?  and what is the difference between airplay 1 and airplay 2 thank you 

Newbie here after purchasing ARC and GEN 3 sub. The sound was nice and solid so far. Wonder to invest in surround sound to achieve ATMOS is require.  can I purchase a speaker for testing or any recommendations? 

Guys..I’m about to purchase a Connect-Amp with a manufacture date of 2015 Aug. Seller is adamant that i’ts a gen 2 as he has installed the upgrades for S2, however it has a mute button. I’ve read that the mute button is gen 1. Does any one have a gen 2 connect amp with a mute button?

Hello! I am looking for some help with a challenge I currently have.The end result I would like to achieve is having a record player that’s capable of being listened to through the house. We are an apple house so all components support AirPlay 2, presently.Currently the system consists of two independent Sonos Amp’s that drive a pair of in-ceiling speakers each. Additionally there is a Denon AVR-X4700H that drives the surround system.If I am understanding correctly the Sonos Port (which is OOO until late November) SHOULD be able to stream “wirelessly” to any Sonos targets which id assume includes the stand alones and amps. Can it stream many at once?More curiously can it both take advantage of streaming to sonos targets AND physically to the Denon via the audio out ports?Last.. am I over complicating things? Is there a vinyl player out there that would make this all work much better.

Hi everyone, I bought an Arc on Sonos.com and it “shipped” on 6/29 but since then FedEx has been stuck on Shipment Information Sent to FedEx. Contacted Sonos last week and was told to just wait. But was just wondering if anyone else had hit this in the past? 2 weeks seems like a really long time for something that is ‘in stock’ 

Hello, I’m in a bit of a stand still on what to buy. Originally I wanted to get the Sonos out door speakers however the amp is sold out and I need them ASAP. (One of my questions with this is; with the Sonos amp and outdoor speakers, can they all be connected to my complete Sonos wireless home system(ark/ one/ one/ sub)? To be able to play the same music inside and outside at the same time?)  second option is getting 2 sonos moves. Now with this, is it worth it? Or should I wait for the amp and outdoor speakers? I also have the same question with this- can I link all the sonos equipment inside and outside to play the same music with the 2 sonos moves?  last question I will be putting a tv outside. How can I connect my tv to the sonos outdoor speakers if I do end up going that route? I already found out the Sonos move cannot be connected to a tv. 

Are these speakers powerful? For 2 for a 1000 bucks they better be. My indoor system is soundbar sub 2 3 s and 8 play 1 s

HiI have a Sonos “Playbar” & “Sub (Gen 2)” bought at end of 2018I have them connected to my TV as a home theatre system.(Also have the New 2021 Apple TV 4K)I find the volume (tried and tested all settings) to be not loud enough for me to enjoy the action flicks.I was thinking of adding 2 x Sonos 5 speakers (whichGen can I add)to the home theatre setup. Is that possible ?Also what other speaker options do I have ?Thanks  

Hey everyone. Is it still worth purchasing a used Connect-amp in 2021 I've bought a pair of Polk Atrium 4 for a small alfresco area but need an amp. Is there another option , other than the expensive Sonos Amp.  I do have other Sonos products around the house.

I’d like to have the outdoor system be able to play what my McIntosh stereo system is playing; my stereo system uses a variety of sources, including a turntable and a streamer running to the preamp. I’m thinking of buying a Beam to use in my home office. I have the following requirements:Able to take sound from Macbook, without lag (used for Teams calls etc) Able to take sound from gaming pc Easy to switch between sourcesA few questions:Has anyone got a similar setup? If so, how do you find it? Does the Beam cope will with being sat <1m away? I was a bit concerned at the soundstage not being ideal.I was on the verge of buying some Audioengine a2 speakers but would rather a Sonos product to integrate with the rest of the kit at home.
