What to get

i have purchased the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable Five and want to listen to the vinyl via headphones as well.Any suggestions what amp/splitter i would need to achieve this?Any advise greatly appreciated.Thank you. 

Hello,I’ve had a Sonos System since 2015.  I have the Playbar, 2 x Play 3’s and a Bridge.  I am unable to connect to my TV even through the optical cable so I am about to upgrade (taking advantage of the current upgrade discounts), but am unclear whether I will need to replace the Bridge with a Boost.  I have an up-to-date Netgear/Orbi home WiFi network which works very well.  I’m guessing I can connect to this instead of needing to use a Boost????  I will be upgrading to an ARC and 2 x ONE SL’s (or maybe 2 x ONE’s).  I have an LG TV with Dolby Atmos which is only 3-4 years old.  Can anyone tell me if the ARC and ONE / ONE SLs will all play TV and produce a surround sound style experience?  (My old system never really worked well with the TV as there was slight lag on the sound which could not be completely cured with the TV adjustments). Hello all! I have a beam and two Sonos ones set up for our audio in our living room. They are connected to our smart tv and we play music from our phones over the Sonos app no problem.  I purchased an audio Technica turnable (with built in preamp) for my husband for Christmas. I want to get it playing over our Sonos speakers. I think I need either the port or the amp to do this but I am confused by the descriptions. It looks to me like the amp is more expensive because it can power external speaker, but I want it to play on my existing Sonos set up.  I don't see it clearly written (in my opinion) that if I use the port and the line in connection that the port can connect to my beam and surrounds wirelessly? Is that what it does? I'm hoping to come up with a plug and play solution here. If I get the port, plug it in, connect it to my Sonos app, and stick the line connection to my turntable, will it play my records over my beam through the Sonos wireless ecosystem? Or I need to somehow p

Hoping someone can give me a definitive answer. Is buying a Sonos Roam going to be the absolute cheapest way to get my new Bluetooth turntable playing music on my S2 system of two One SLs and a Beam? Is there no competition? Nothing that turns the turntable into AirPlay compatible? Seems completely crazy that it costs so much and that turntables don’t offer Wifi music through an App unless I’m missing something. I really don’t need a 4th speaker. 

Hej, merry xmas!As all topics with the same question are closed i’ll go on and start a new one. writing this from Europe (Sweden), and on Sonos Sweden they are currently selling a refurbished gen 2 Sub for around 600€.  2 questions that are left unanswered1: the difference between gen 2 and 3 are only internal components like RAM? No difference in sound?2: with a refurbished product you don’t have to be afraid in terms of quality? Pretty big price difference between a new gen 3 which goes for 800€,. Should you invest in the gen 2 refurbished, which you can upgrade in the future with a gen 3 if you want, or go for the gen 3 instead? 

Hey new to the Sonos and love them!! Quick question tho, have one sl 2 of em currently connected to arc and sub!! What else can I add to it for surround sound ? Does in ceiling speakers work with it ? Does a regular one work ? Or 5 or any of them ? trying to do awesome surround sound and have huge living room. Thanks and let me know what basically can be sued and hooked up to it   

Hi folks,I have a bluetooth turntable that I connect to my Sonos 1 through the Sonos Roam. There are occasional glitches/skips but it works well so far!I am looking at making a bigger purchase of a Sonos 5 AND the Sub to make my turntable sound even more incredible.Is the Roam still enough or the best way to keep this connection from the bluetooth turntable to my potential 5 and Sub?  These are big purchases and want to get it right! I’ve got a Sonos Beam 5.1 setup (Beam, Sub, 2x Play: 1) and I used to be very satisfied with it.  However, I recently moved to an apartment with a slightly larger living room, one that puts me a bit further from the TV (about 12’ from the TV vs 8.5’ in the old setup).  On paper it doesn’t seem like it should be a big differnece, but it has really impacted my subjective experience.  In the old place when I was closer to the TV and soundbar, it felt like the Beam provided a decent amount of separation. Now it feels like all the sound is coming directly from the TV on the center channel, without much in the way of L/R.  This has me considering upgrading to the Sonos Arc.  Has anyone made this upgrade?  Would it provide a better experience for me?  I’ve got the Sub, so I’m not looking for more low end; mainly more separation.  Will going from the Beam to the Arc help in that regard?

How long does the returns process typically take? My return got collected by UPS last Wednesday but I’ve not heard anything back about it being received at Sonos yet. I haven’t returned via courier before so not sure on the timeframes.

Hello all after hours of research and phone calls I’m still a bit lost so lets see if this helps clear up my questions.  When i built my house i had gotten 3 zones pre wired for in wall/ceiling speakers zone 1: living room 5.1 surround sound pre wired  (all speakers in wall)zone 2: Kitchen 2 speakers (in ceiling) zone 3: Back patio (2 on wall, 2 in ceiling)   ZONE 1in order to create a true surround sound experience and keep everything simple and clean i want to go with everything from Sonos. For the 5.1 surround sound what I’m confused on is it possible to run 4 in wall speakers, 1 arc (in place of a center channel) and 2 subs off of just 1 Sonos  amp and it all actually work correctly to create a surround sound experience?i did find  this video ( https://youtu.be/cUUyOMRvsiI ) similar set up to what I’m going for only difference is i would use in wall instead of in ceiling, and i want to run 2 Sonos subs. Hello. I upgraded to the s2 app and lost the ability to use my connect. In the past I had 30% off for upgrade on the connect as I want to upgrade to Arc. After moving to the s2 app I can’t find the connect in the apps anymore so I can’t see the upgrade offer. Is there a way to put in serial number and check the upgrade offer another way? Matt

Hi allA relative has asked me to look into getting wireless speakers for her house.  She listens to classical and pop/rock so will likely be set up by me to use Spotify.She has 2 small rooms - one living room, and one dining room, which aren’t separated by a door, rather a walk through arch.I was thinking of getting:LIVING ROOM - 3 Sonos One’s - 2 in a stereo pair behind the sofa, and one facing you when sitting down.  Would that be better than just the stereo pair.  (Presume 2 stereo pairs would be overkill) DINING ROOM (not used regularly) - 2 Sonos One’s in a stereo pair.  (Dining table in middle of room). Does that make sense?  Total newbie here!

Does any one know, if a new Sonos Arc speaker is about to release any time soon ??On the Sonos.com ( DK) side, it states that the product is currently ordered as a backorder ( restordre ) . So that’s a bit strange, since that usually happens before a new product launch.. Just curious 👀

I just bought a Sonos Roam and regret the decision. Seriously it does not work. Bluetooth volume curs out. Then will not increase in volume Scratchy notices. Absolutely hopeless. Took it on holiday and just a waste of time. Don't buy this product. I have 20 other speakers with Sonos and all (mostly) fine. This product is rubbish.  

HelloI am planning on purchasing a refurbished sub gen 3 and since this is my first time buying refurbished from Sonia direct, I had a question about the box. Do the refurbished items come in an exact box that a brand new would come in? Is there any indication on the box (I.e certified replacement) or any other wording that would differentiate it from a brand new non refurbished so is product? 

My current living room setup consists of a Playbar, and a Play:1 / Symfonysk stereo pair, I think set up as a surround setup in Sonosequencer (but I can’t remember, as I no longer have an iPhone).  The Playbar is connected to my TV via optical, and the living room setup is mostly used for TV audio.   My room isn’t enormous.  I’m wondering if changing my Playbar for a Beam v2 would be an upgrade, downgrade, or just different?  Despite mines being pretty new, the Playbar does feel like it’s being quickly superseded.  I can’t justify an Arc (feel I’d be better getting a Sub of somekind before I went to an Arc if I was spending that kind of money). I know the general consensus with the Beam Gen 1 was that the Playbar was still markedly better, but is that still the case with the Gen 2?    

Just want to check my understanding….As I understand it, there currently isn’t a trade in programme is there?It’s simply a straight forward 15% discount (if you register that you might want to upgrade) - you don’t actually trade your device in or send it off, and it’s not bricked any more? Is that correct?     So if you register 1 device, or register 5 devices, you’ll get 15% of anything you order - so pointless registering more than one device?and, once you have registered your devices for upgrade, you can’t cancel it can you?  I might have accidentally registered, not appreciating that there was no way back…  I just wanted to see the prices and options!

I am looking to connect two third party bookshelf speakers to a Sonos Amp. Are there any recommendations for affordable but strong performing speakers that combine well with the Amp?

I have had my Sonos for a few years, works very well with my 1 yr. old LG OLED TV. Model CX PUA. I use the optical audio , am sure it has HDMI eArc and  Dolby Atmos.  I would think I could leave  the Gen 1’s and sub without upgrading the whole system?  Thoughts? ThanksWTP

I have the Sonos move speaker and connect that to our turntable via bluetooth to play. Is there a soundbar i can also connect to our turntable via bluetooth? If not what other options are there. Thanks
