Hi, I’m thinking of buying a Sonos Move to pair with my bluetooth turntable. Question is - If the turntable and Move speaker are connected via bluetooth, can I then beam the sound from the turntable (bluetooth connection) across the rest of my Sonos set up at the same time using the Wi-fi network? thanks!
Hi, I just wanted to ask for thoughts - is it better to get two Roams as a stereo pair or one five in stereo? I’m guessing the five has better sound but not really a whole lot of separation of audio...or do you think otherwise? I saw a thread on here about buying a Port or a five for a turntable and I bought a Port and now I’m using two Roams to listen to music in my office but now I’m thinking damn, maybe I should have just bought a five for everything (knowing i still need a preamp and line in)….
Order 1 Ray, charged for 2, apparently 2 on the way... have tried to contact Sonos but seems no one is responding...
Did sonos provide a traking number in Canada. In my account I see preparing to ship and shipped, ???
I currently have one play5 in my living room for listening to music. I would like more room filling music, so I would like to get a pair of in-ceiling sonance speakers with an amp.I enjoy the play5 and would like to keep it in the same room with the sonance. Would that work well?if I could add another play5, I would, but do not have the space. Also thought about the ikea symphonix picture frames, but my wife thinks they are ugly. 😂I really just want more even sound through the living space which is open to the kitchen, foyer and dining room too. I don’t necessarily want full sound in the adjacent rooms, just be able to hear it as background. There is a TV in the living room, but it’s not really the TV used for watching movies, gaming, ect. We already have a gameroom TV with a full surround arc setup with sub that is fantastic. Don’t need another one.Any thoughts or alternatives welcome.
Hello,My Play5 was received almost 2 weeks ago at Sonos. I have not received any email confirmation of receipt or status of replacement. I have tried calling 3 times and sat on hold for over 45 mins each time with no connection. A little frustrated, can someone assist?thank you,Chris
Hi there, I have two living areas connected at right angle by doorway, looking at Sonos for streaming but also Turntable and CD Player.. default setup where i dont have to move the speakers all the time to cover both rooms in stereo without cables everywhere? Maybe 2 sonos Moves, wifi and wireless, but they'll mainly sit where they are.. Or 2 x Sonos 5 with one in each room, paired in stereo, but then no voice assistant which I do want.. Plus do i need a sonos PORT to connect up my amp, cd player and turntable for the rare times im not voice commanding spotify thru google assistant on my iphone? Happy to spend a couple grand.. so maybe it is 2x top-of-the-line Sonos 5s and a Sonos Port, but I still want to use Voice command. A rambling bunch of Qs, I know, but do you think I should get 2x Sonos 5 for great music AND a Move to get the google assistant voice control in the mix? Could plug the turntable direct to a Sonos 5 with RCA.. otherwise will need a Port as also have full Nakamichi
Trying to buy a package deal on Sonos.com, to use my 30% trade-up code.Is it really not possible to buy a package deal with a One and a One SL? Why would anyone want 2 One in the same room?
As a Sonos fanboy, i've listened to Marshall Stanmore Ii today. Must say, I was impressed. Gbe detail, the power, bass. Can the Move (I plan to add it to my system) compete? Have you heard both?Neven
Hey,I currently have a Beam Gen 2 and 2x One SL as Surrounds but don’t have a TV or anything connected to it. I only use it for music via Airplay. My Beam sits on my desk and behind where I sit is my bed, where I placed the Ones left and right of it for a surround setup. Now I’m thinking of adding a stereo pair to my desk (on either side of the Beam) because i want more stereo sound comming from the desk when I’m laying in bed or even if I sit on my desk. The options are of course a One Stereo Pair or one with 2x Fives, but I think the Fives would be to much for that. (I’ve also considered if I’m going five to put them as surrounds one the place of the ones and to put the ones to my desk at the front)Whats your thought on that or do you have any recommendations for me?Thanks and sincerely
Moving from my current home to a new house. I have Sonos One, built-in speakers, now, but plan to switch to a portable smart speaker. I have a ton of CDs stored on my iMac, which I’ll be taking to my new house. What portable Sonos product is best if I want to continue to play music that’s stored on my computer?
Can someone kindly help please?firstly are all the arc known problems resolved with the latest software?I have a playbar, gen 3 sub and 2 play 1s, hand on heart is it worth “ upgrading “ to an Arc? I probably play 75% music, 25% films from Amazon and also blu ray. I don’t play games. The tv is a 55” Samsung with arc and not earc. I am aware of HD Fury Arcana and know how it works for sound formats from tv and blu ray. The current set up is fine but I’d like to have Atmos and hd music.Bear in mind the cost the cost of the arc plus another £150 for Acarina which is the best part of £1000Thank youMartin
Hi All,I have several unused Play:1 in my equipment and just thinking about buying a Ray soundbar. Can I still use the old Play:1 as surround speakers or do I have to buy new One SL ? Thanks a lot,Peter
as title have you purchased and got a receipt or invoice at all
I’m putting a gym in my new townhouse. The room is large with tall ceilings - 13’ ceilings & about 22’x23’ dimensions. I want a killer Sonos system in there to blast high quality music (alternative, rock, hip-hop). I’m willing to spend up to $4K.I’m considering the following and would love any input, advice.-2 Sonos Five’s and 1 Sonos Sub-Sonos Amp with 2 floor standing or 4 bookshelf speakers-Sonos Port (I have an extra one) with a 3rd party power amplifier and 2 floor standing or 4 bookshelf. If you suggest one of the latter couple options, I’d love to know any ideas for Speakers & Power Amplifier. I’m not super familiar with brands. I’ve been reading a lot of good stuff about Kef and Klipsch lately. Any specific combos of amp & speakers for this use case would be great. Thanks
I currently have:2x Sonos One Sub Amp, which powers 2 non-Sonos wall speakers. This is plugged into the TV through the HDMI eARCI tried to setup a surround system with the 2 Sonos Ones as the rear speakers but it wouldn’t let me.If I added one of the sound bars (Arc/Beam)would I now be able to use my Sonos Ones as rear speakers in a 5.1 system? will the sound bar and Amp (+ wall speakers) be able to play together through wireless Sonos magic? Or will I have to get an eARC splitter or something and plug both of them into the TV?thanks in advance (edit: wow time to change my username I guess. Was peeved with all the old speakers going obsolete but I’ve been happy with Sonos lately)
I knew this was bound to happen…My 25+ y.o. Marantz died a year and a half ago. I was using it for both TV and music.I could just buy another ampli to replace it, since the speakers were (are) still good, but I wanted something “smart”, streaming capable, more compact (speakers are 50x30x20cm approx), lighter, and I’m no audiophile. I usually “hear” the music while I do something else, don’t just sit in my sweet spot listening to it, or just do it briefly. In the end I decided to try something different, and got the Beam, knowing it was a compromise. Nice, but a bit lacking for music, bit shallow, no depth. So I added a Sub:The set up is pleasant indeed, and satisfying for some kind of music (…whenever bass is heavily involved). But recently I got myself a decent couple of earbuds, and realized I’m missing separation, definition and details. What to do?Add a couple Ones. In the front, right and left side of the Beam, to be used only for music, or back to also serve as sorround, but losin
Does anyone know any website apart from eBay and other marketplaces to buy old discontinued Sonos Play-1. I already have a Play-1 and recently bought a Beam 2. I would like to pair the existing Play-1 with the Beam to setup surround speakers. Since the old Play-1 and One SL can’t be paired I’m looking to buy the old Play-1. Upgrading to two One SLs would be expensive for me. Any leads on this is much appreciated. Even if someone is willing to sell, happy to make an offer.
Hello, can’t quite find my exact question/answers in past threads.I want to buy an Arc (centre) and 2 x SL’s (rear L&R)If i want to integrate 2 of my existing speakers (front L&R) and my existing SubIf i buy a sonos AMP, can i get a 5.1 surround set up from my TV?thanks.
I have two Sonos Architectural speakers that are powered by the Sonos amp. If like to buy one more, but I only see options to buy in pairs. Is there a resource for only purchasing one to add to my existing system?
I have a bedroom that is 15’ x17’ with a peaked ceiling 12’ high.Only audio will be utilized in this room. Should I just put one Sonos 5 on a stand at one wall of this room or would I be better served by a different set-up?
Hi. I currently own a Sonos One and a Sonos Roam. I'm considering buying the Pro-ject T1 Phono SB turntable with the Sonos Five speaker so I can get back to listening to vinyl. My living room is quite small and has been served by Sonos One so far, so I believe Sonos Five will be quite the upgrade (One will be moving to another room). I'd therefore love to use Five as my main sound output, also while streaming movies/shows. I don't own a TV and I stream video on my MacBook Pro and project on a wall through a Benq projector (model is from 10 years ago, EP4227, and I use and HDMI cable to connect it to my laptop). In the past, I've tried playing the sound on One while projecting the video (simply by having One and my MacBook on the same WiFi and selecting the sound output on One, while projecting the video through HDMI) but there's always been a substantial lag in the sound. I've given up and always use the MacBook speakers for sound, which is obviously less than optimal. If I am to inves
What is the difference between Gen 1 & Gen 2 Sonos One speaker?
