Hello all, I have a Sonos Beam Gen2 and two Sonos One SLs for my TV in the living room. I also have a big CD collection from long ago with some CDs never made it on streaming services. What CD Player can I buy to connect to my sound setup in the living room? Is only way to setup with AirPlay2 and if so, what CD Players come with Airplay2? Thanks!
I have 22 Sonos Ones and am considering a Sonos Ray or Beam soundbar. Can the TV sound playing through one of these devices be sent out to the other speakers around the house?
I have an Arc & Sub gen 3. I have 2 one SL’s that are used for surround sound. Would adding a beam to a different part of house generate the same sound as that the Arc provides? Looking to amplify sound (not surround sound) towards rear of viewing area.
My current home has five speakers in the ceiling ready for surround sound. I would like to take advantage of these with a Sonos system to give my TV surround sound and was wondering what the best way to do that would be. I have read some information on the Amp but it’s still a bit confusing exactly how to do this. Also we would like to be able to stream music on these speakers when not watching TV as well. Thanks for the help!!!
buongiorno possiedo sonos arc sonos sub e sonos one per aggiungero un giradischi conviene prendere un sonos port oppure una cassa five5, grazie
I have a Sonos Arc and want to go surround. Will the Sonos Mini sub and speaker set work with my Arc? It’s a smallish room.
I am hoping I can run 2 sets of speakers for 2 separate rooms off of one Sonos amp. any suggestions or do I need to buy another amp?
Hi,For a living room of about 40 m², is it possible to have a configuration that serves both for TV (Home theater) and listening to music, with 1xBeam + 1xSub + 2xSonos Five? The both 5 will be located quite far behind the sofa. And if you only want to listen to music (without turning on the TV), is the sound played on all of them at the same time? Many thanks.
Hello Sonos users,Can anyone confirm if the wall mount of the play1 is compatible with the One. I have the play1 fixed on a wall with ceramic tiles and power supply cable also integrated in the wall, esthetically perfect. I consider upgrading to One and it would be convenient if I can use the same mount...
I am considering Sonos set up for my new home. In my new home I have great room , dining room and kitchen all in one straight line. The kitchen is far from the great room wall where my TV hangs. I have prewire set up for rear channels in great room and two speakers in kitchen. So this is what I intend to do and please let me know if this is possible. I will have a Sonos Arc under the tv to act as 3 channels. I will have a Sonos Amp connected to Sonos Arc. This Amp should power the two rear channels in the great room to create a 5 channel surround in great room. Now since the kitchen is a bit far, I want the same Amp to also power the two in-ceiling speakers in my kitchen with the same audio as great room but as a separate room. I do not want to create a 7 channel system, what I want to create is a 5 channel system in the great room and a two channel system in my kitchen playing the same audio. Is this possible? Are there any recommendations or considerations for this set up? Would I ne
Good morning,I have the sound bar Beam gen 2. Is it better to connect it to 2 sonos one or to a sub mini? thank you simone
I am considering buying a Beam gen 2 to take the atmos sound. Will I still be able to use my old play 1 speakers ?I currently only use the Controller 1Will I be able to get atmos as my TV only has ARC not eARC?
What is the difference between sonos one and sonos one SL
I initially wanted a FIVE for my living room, but in the same area i have TV setup - so NOW im actually thinking of upgrading my TV to Beam + Mini sub. So my Q is, would the Beam + Minisub be sufficient, making the FIVE somwthat obsolete when just listening to music? Or does the many amplifiers in the FIVE make it superior as stand alone?
When will Sonos release rear speakers (one sls) that have upfiring drivers for Atmos? Samsung has dropped the Samsung Q990B which has this AND DTS support. Sonos needs to step up on this because the samsung set is cheaper and better quality Atmos now. Ive been pricing it out all year to purchase at christmas but if they don’t come out with at least upfiring rear speakers before boxing day Im going with the samsung.
Hi, there.I have a Beam gen2 and one Play3. I want to create surrounding system and I’m thinking i need another speaker to do it . can you guys give me some advices about it? I’m considering to buy another Play3 for the surrounding, but it cost a little bit much. Thanks
I’m looking to create a home cinema set up, I already have two play 1’s, a Roam, and a Play 5. I’d like to mount the projector on my ceiling if possible, so ideally I’d be able to broadcast video from my laptop to the projector wirelessly, and audio from the projector/laptop to the sonos system. Two questions: Which product I can purchase (playbar?arc?beam?) to use with a projector in this manner? What properties would the projector need to have? Thanks for your help.
Hi all.I currently have a Gen 2 Beam with Alexa voice control connected.Am I right in thinking that for 2 rear speakers, the One SL (pair) are identical in terms of performance, and having already got Alexa via the Beam, there would be no point in spending the extra money that a pair of One's would cost?!?Thanks in advance.. P.s. I plan to add a mini sub at some point after a pair of rear speakers to complete a surround set.
Salve, volevo sapere se era possibile abbinare 2 One SL ad un FIVE.Ps. Utilizzo l’app Sonos OS S2 vers. 14.18.1Grazie in anticipo
I have a Beam (Gen 2) set up with my TV. It's in a lounge approx 10m long with a flat roof and a glass roof lantern. Unfortunately when it rains it creates a lot of noise and I have to have the soundbar really loud. Can I add the Symonfisk bookshelf wireless smart speakers (From Ikea) to the system. I am looking for something to place behind the sofa that just amplifies what is coming out of the Beam. I'm not looking for the surround sound where it only plays certain times. I hope this makes sense as I'm not technically minded I'm sorry.Thankyou
Dear Community,I just moved into a new flat and I am looking to buy a new sound / HiFi system for my bedroom. As you can see below, I have a 1-and-a-half bedroom, divided by a semi-wall and a glass door which will remain open the vast majority of the time. I will be spending more time in the “big room” that the picture is taken from - but also a good chunk of time each day in the smaller room that you can see after walking through the door in the picture. What SONOS do you recommend? I was thinking to buy the SONOS Five and have it in the big bedroom - but do you think that the sound will be bad when the music is playing from the big bedroom and I'll be in the other, smaller room? What do you think of getting a SONOS Five and a SONOS Move or ONE to play simultaneously, one in each room? Or will that sound strange if I can partially hear both at the same time?I look forward to your advice. We are now standing in the “big” main bedroom, looking through to the smaller room which contains a
Hi what I am attempting to do is stream music through our store’s speakers. Will the Sonos connect work for this purpose? The Sonos connect would be plugged in our network switch via a network cable. Then use a PC hooked up to the same network that is located in another part of our building to access Spotify. Hopefully Spotify recognizes the Sonos and allows us to play music from Spotify to our buildings speakers. The speakers are all connected and have 1 x 3.5 mm male end. I plan to use a 3.5 mm female like attached and remove the jacks to expose the wires to connect to the speaker outputs on the Sonos. My only input to the Sonos is the network cable. Thanks Dan
Hi All,This questions is for those of you that owns both the Sonos Arc and Sonos Beam Gen2 or have been listening to both of them. How big is the difference in sound between the Arch and Beam Gen2. I understand that the Arc has better sound but is there really a big difference?2nd question:Will the sound of Beam Gen2 + Two Sonos Ones in surround be better than a single Arc?
HiI have an old Bridge and two Connects - Can I trade (upgrade) these products towards one BOOST and get a total of (15% +30% + 30%) 75% off the price?CheersLazza
I have a Beam Gen 2, sub-mini and a pair of Symfonisks setup for my home theater - love it, works great. Sometimes I venture off to the kitchen and want to be able to continue listening to whatever is on TV. I was thinking that I could buy a Sonos One and plop it in the kitchen and use multi-room to extend the audio from the HT to the kitchen? Would that work? Is the system smart enough to keep the HT setup as proper x.1 surround (so that somebody who is still watching the TV still has that HT audio) while knowing that the kitchen is just a single solo speaker and provide it audio accordingly?
