I am trying to figure out the simplest setup to play my turntable on my two One SL and Beam Sonos speakers. I have a receiver but would like to avoid using it if possible.

Can I directly connect my turntable to a phono preamp, and then connect the preamp right to the Sonos Amp (avoiding need for receiver)? If doing this, could all 3 speakers play the sound at once?

Or is there a better way/better product than the Sonos Amp?

Thank you!

Just connect your TT to a preamp (assuming it has not got one built-in) to bring the audio signal upto line-level, then connect it to the Sonos Amp line-in and simply select the line-in as a music source at the foot of the music services tab in the Sonos App to play to any Sonos speaker, or group of speakers.

There are also options available to Autoplay the line-in audio in the Amps room settings. ‘Settings/System/mAmp Room Name]’.

Thank you, Ken!

Is the same possible with a port?

turntable —> preanplifier —> port —> one sl (or arc when I will upgrade)

No wired speakers

Yes, that is possible.
